Love this Walmart, has so many good tennis shoes to pick from for work or gym. Got some comfortable foam memory Sketchers at good price. I go a cheesecake 2 slice pack in orea and traditional. The grocery section is small but the have eggs, almond milk,coconut milk water so I can ge work snacks. It's less crowded than the other location. read more

I just like the quality of food that is sold in the Walmart shopping centers. Not much of a selection for people that like quality, gluten-free food, nor a good selection of protein drinks. The staff does not seem very friendly, except the greeters at the front door. But I do love the Pharmacy staff! read more

This place is convenient for those who stay across the street at the motels. The interactions with the employees that I had were all helpful. When I asked for various items and where the items were, they knew the aisles or brought me to the location. The prices can't be beat, and they have everything that you're looking for and more. There's ample parking for those who need to shop here at all times of the day and night. You can do self check out or get checked out at a cashier. read more

Calling the Walmart store was not a good experience. I got hung up on twice, when I was simply calling to ask for help with the money gram that do there. Before driving there, I needed the proper information to complete the task. When I finally got someone they weren't 100% clear on what was needed. Very frustrating. However the store itself is in good order, very stocked for valentines already. Good amount of winter clothes, and products on the shelves. Overall, it was a decent experience. The lady with blonde hair and glasses at customer service is a 5 star employee there. She deserves a raise for being so positive and amazing to all the customers! read more

If you are in the Flagstaff, Fort Tuthill, Lake Mary area this is the most convenient Walmart around. We stopped in when we realized we needed more water, propane and fishing bait. The store was nice and clean and you could tell they are use to campers as they had camping items right up front and center. Staff was helpful when we needed help finding items. They had a ton of self checkout stations and just 2 regular checkout lines open. We are good with self checkout so we had no problem, but the other 2 lanes lines were pretty long. We would stop again if in the area. read more

Placed an order on Thursday for Saturday pickup. One would think the item would be placed aside at the time of ordering seeing as they also charge your card at time of ordering not pickup. Instead, after driving 2 hours, I receive a notification of my order being canceled. Customer service was basically useless suggesting I set a wishlist notification which undoubtedly would result in this same situation. The additional slap in the face was the remedy of a $10 off promo code of a $15+ purchase that expires. Not even a $10 gift card which isn't what i was looking for I just want the item I payed for. read more

Every time I go into one of these super stores all I want to do is go down every aisle looking for deals. My first aisle that I head towards is the toy section to look for Hot Wheels and other car collectibles that I don't find in California. They also have great deals on souvenirs especially the low priced t-shirts and postcards. read more

She will send them off (nasty tone) without any problem solving capabilities so she doesn't have to deal with it. I realize the quality of workers will vary but kindness does make the experience at walmart a little more tolerable. Maybe some classes in customer service would make their time there a little better too! read more

Meh. Not my favorite Walmart that I have been to. We came here looking for snow gloves for the kids. Guess what? They didn't have any. You are the number 1 retail store in America, and you don't have any snow gloves? Come on, Walmart, come on! The guy who told us that bad news was at least friendly, and he suggested that we check at grocery stores or gas stations. Yeah, thanks for the recommendation, but I STILL CANT BELIEVE Walmart doesn't have an overflowing supply of gloves, seeing is this is in Flagstaff where it snows, and tons of people come up this way to specifically play in the snow. Oh well. I did get myself some impromptu adult sized gloves over in the hardware section. They were thin, rubber bottomed, mainly used for gardening, but they worked in a pinch (didn't keep my hands warm, at all, but better than bare handing a snowball, I guess?). Walmart is very consistent....mostly bad consistent. The people who work at this location really looked and acted like they didn't want to be there other than the greeter at the door. Walmart doesn't care about ratings - that's why you can't leave one on Google. That said, I've lived in Flagstaff for 17 years and the Walmart on the Eastside of town is absolutely horrible - I refer to it as the Ghetto Walmart. If you have the slightest bit of anxiety steer clear of this Walmart at all cost. The pharmacy is the only nice thing about this Walmart - seriously. No lanes are ever open and they absolutely rely on self-checkout. The checkout system itself resembles a prison....I always look forward to the free pat downs (sarcasm). For fun you can stick around and watch the minute by minutes meltdowns. Staff will not help you. Management??? Is there such a thing. Store Manager changes weekly. Mary Ann in hr are is literally like a fungal issue that won't ever go away or leave. If you dare shop this store you have been warned! read more

For a store that is totally under construction, it's not too bad to visit. I'd sure recommend this over the Target down the road for prices on their art and school supplies however. They were more budget friendly. Target had the same composition notebook for a dollar compared to 25 cents at Wal-Mart. However, the store was under major construction. There were a lot of empty shelves. I imagine they will fill them soon enough. The restrooms were a mess though. Empty toilet paper rolls in multiple stalls. Floor was pretty gross. Nothing better than an evening shopping at any Wal-Mart. Get a soda, grab some popcorn and spend an exciting evening witnessing the characters and antics all for free. $60.00 for a PPV UFC event? Hell no! I'm grabbing my lawn chair and sitting outside in the Wal-Mart parking lot. So this location is crazy! Like chaotic! We were coming to buy 2 things. Poker chips, cards and alcohol. I chuckled once inside as the way the store is laid out. The liquor is kept in front and the poker/games are in the back. So just remember this Pro-Tip. "Liquor up front, poker in the rear." Being so close to NAU it is like a mad house. Very disorganized, hectic and you have a feeling of chaos. This Wal-Mart does not disappoint with entertainment value. I never have a problem with Walmart products or prices. However when I encounter some sort of issue in Walmart, it always has to do with the customer service/employees being complete jerks. The Walmart next to the university is the worst because there are tons of college students who work there and they are extremely rude individuals. Like I get it, I was a college student for nine years but I never let my personal life interfere with my work life. The management here need to emphasize to their employees that customers are the reasons why they still have jobs so; these kids need more training OR they need to get fired. read more

I think that this place has a problem with professionalism in the work place. I have never had this problem before in any other wal-mart. More than a couple of times I hear the employees bad-mouthing each other. It is so unprofessional and very dismissive towards the customers. I visited this Walmart once during my stay at the Motel 8 on Lucky Lane (Horrible) and I will never come to this Walmart or town again. The exterior looks nice but the inside is totally 180 degrees opposite. It's dark, dirty, and small. Prices are relatively cheap but sections are badly organized. Worst thing is the encounter of the racist/prejudice register. After finding all the items we were looking for we headed to the checkout section. After letting another customer go before us we found a register that was open that was attended by a Caucasian female with black/brown hair. Well halfway to the register she turned of the register number light. We thought she was clocking out so we moved on to the next isle. Well as soon as we moved to the next isle she turned on the light and attended the next two Caucasian customers that came to her. Town is full or racist/prejudice people. read more

If you want to be monitored throughout the entire checkout process, this is your place. I went to self checkout, as I was half way through, a sales associate came to me, and started counting my items with out saying anything about what she was doing. I asked why she was touching all of my items and moving them around my cart, and she replied, "we often count the items." Okay? Is this a new thing? Of all the times I've been to Walmart this has never happened. So I went on with my scanning and after I scanned a couple more items, my register said to ask for assistance. She came, and she replayed a video of me scanning my items! Like, wth! They do that now? (I know they have cameras throughout the store, but this is getting ridiculous) I asked her why is this necessary, and all she could say is, "your good now, you can start scanning." I ain't trying to steal anything WALMART! You can calm down. Just want to get in and out of that hectic place! If this is their new checkout process, I'm out.
