**July 2026: Sunday Night Visit** This is my favorite Goodwill. I first visited Flagstaff four years ago and stopped in here then, and it was just as great on this trip. Parking is ample, which makes it easy to pop in and browse without any hassle. I also love that there's truly something for everyone here, whether you're shopping for men's, women's, children's, or household items. On this visit, I found a bolo tie, a Lawrence Kazar silk deep purple beaded mini dress, a black leotard, and a pink square neck leotard. The selection is colorful, varied, and well worth digging through, and the sizes worked well for me too. My total came to $18.85, which felt like an incredible deal for everything I brought home. Can't wait for my next Flagstaff visit to find more gems! read more

The Milton location is very central to Flagstaff. It's a prime location near NAU campus. It's very clean, and smells fresh which is nice. I haven't had any interactions with employees, but I am sure they're all very kind. My issue I have with this store & all of Goodwill's is that they overprice items, or sell things heavily damaged at almost full cost. Below is proof. The shorts are NWT priced at $6.61 from the department store it came from. Goodwill is selling it for $8.99. They have no shame whatsoever doing this. It's really awful business. After this experience, I will be shopping at non profits, because this is very disturbing. Do better Goodwill. read more

Huge selection of just about anything you could need for your home, and well organized. Employees are friendly and helpful. Plenty of real bargains, although pricing seems a little erratic (for example, a LeCreuset enameled cast iron pan....a steal! .... was priced $10 cheaper than an off-brand copy!). read more

I go to Goodwill stores often and the service at this store is what really stands out. The young man at the register was quick, efficient and he was very polite. I would give this store 5 stars if not for the fact that, the clothing sizes were mixed together, the selection was good and the value was okay. read more

They have the worst customer service ever in that store is filthy their manager. Martha is horrid very snarky. Very rude to the other associates. I think they were good. I can't even imagine how she treats the disabled people that work there that is sad read more

I can't speak for the other 2 Goodwill stores in Flagstaff because I haven't visited them in recent weeks, but the Flagstaff Mall Store has gone completely nuts. Apparently store management has forgotten that their customers are there because have very little money and need a to buy used clothes at reasonable prices. Whatever tax exemptions the store is enjoying should be revoked because this store is pricing their clothes as if they were a specialty vintage clothing boutique. After deciding against buying a used jacket, for $45.00, it would have cost $7.00 a year ago, (And remember, everything in Goodwill is donated and they pay not one penny for anything), I walked over to JCPenney's and bought brand new at their doorbuster 60% off sale. Also books, toys, appliances, electronics and housewares were all priced higher than you would find at a private thrift store not claiming to be a charity. For shame, for shame. This was a pretty decent Goodwill; today Holiday things were full price but blue tag items were 1/2 off. My daughter found some boots that were "lit" (that's me trying to be hip)! As far as clothes, Women's wear seemed to dominate the store, the Men's section was okay but most items didn't go over the 'XL' size; (That, or they were sold out before I arrived!). This used to be my favorite goodwill. I purchased a Christmas decoration that lights up, only 1 out of the 3 items actually lit up. And you can't really use only one, you have to put up all 3. They told me they can't return it due to it being a seasonal item when it was literally the next day. They said to check it, apparently they have outlet cords to check. All of that should be told before you sell it to someone. I used to always donate when they ask, now I will never. It seems they always remember to ask for donations but i guess they don't find it important to tell patrons to test their product since obviously they don't know if things actually work. Since COVID, I have been collecting VHS tapes and Goodwill has been my go to due to always having them in store for such a good price. Just this past spring I purchased a couple from that goodwill specifically. However, this past weekend I made a visit to get some other things as well as check to see what VHS tapes they had available. The employees were bringing stuff in from the back, stocking the shelves so I assumed there would be a lot for me to choose from. There was not. I patiently waited, walked around the store looking for other things, kept checking back at the section where they keep them and none of the employees had added any to that section. I decided to ask an employee, who was very friendly and helpful, if they had any and was saddened to hear that they are not allowed to put them out for sale and instead are told to THROW THEM AWAY. On top of that, this nice man told me that they had just received someone's whole collection and they were not allowed to keep it, and instead had to toss them. How wasteful and disappointing, honestly, from a vintage aspect of it. I'm giving a 3 star rating purely for the employees who helped me and told me this information because I understand it's not their fault at all. However, the business itself needs to reevaluate its decision on tossing vintage stuff like this away, because I, as well as I'm sure other people who appreciate them, hate to see them thrown away. The gentlemen who helped gave me suggestions of other places to go to find them, which was very kind! Kudos to them. However, I love going to goodwill because of the pricing I would get and would wish that they would send those tapes over to those other donation places rather than putting them in the garbage. Just wanted to give this review to spread awareness to others who are searching OR for those looking for a place to donate their VHS tapes. We really enjoyed shopping at this store. They had a great selection of clothing and accessories. I bought a couple of old school Versace ties and college t-shirts. The Wife found some great costume jewelry. The day we were there, they had a promotion where they were giving away a Flat Screen TV and a set of new Tires...sponsored by a local car dealership. I've been to tons of Goodwill locations, and this one is by far my favorite. I never never expected Flagstaff to have a Goodwill with such quality clothes. I've gotten North Face and Victoria's Secret clothes here, which I know is probably luck. However, this location is fairly large and it's always super clean. This is a Goodwill? This is by far the nastiest and dirtiest one I've ever been to. We quickly stopped in to check out the vinyl record collection and the weird stuff one tends to find at these places. It's VERY dirty here. None of the items had prices and most things were severely broken. They just throw stuff in plastic bins on shelves! We could not figure out any sort of organization. 10 minutes later we ran for the door! Dear management: clean this place up! Make it look nice and actually sort things and add prices! And to the guy who keeps emailing me saying I reviewed the wrong Goodwill, no I didn't! read more

As a college student on a budget, I come to this Goodwill often. Unfortunately recently I bought a pair of boots ($24.75 boots) because they would be good for the winter. I didn't try them on in the store because I didn't have socks on me and I am aware that many businesses weren't allowing customers to try on shoes in store because of COVID-19. I guess I should've asked about returns on shoes because apparently you can't get ANYTHING back for returning shoes. No store credit, no cash, not a single penny back. This doesn't make any sense at all to me especially if the employee taking my return can clearly see the shoes are in perfect condition. Not to mention I purchased them YESTERDAY. I am extremely disappointed in this policy and I'm now a college student who's out $25 which would of been useful in store credit so I could get other things I could afford. DO NOT buy shoes from Goodwill. read more

Smells terrible in there! All clothes are just dumped on tables and mixed, merchandise is thrown in boxes carelessly (some with broken objects you can cut yourself on going through the boxes). Staff does not care to assist you very well in the store, but in the back warehouse, they are helpful. Not so sure about the price by the weight thing. Buy something that is huge but light weight, great deal, but buy something very small that you can buy new for a buck or two, if it weighs allot, you will be paying BIG for it! They do have a good voucher program, but as I stated, if its clothes your looking for, your going to be there a LONG time trying to find what your looking for! read more

I just went to goodwill in flagstaff, and was under the impression that they gave a military discount at all times, not just on Sunday. I believe that the military can't pick days to protect this country so they should give a discount at all times. unfare in my opinion. needless to say they lost my business I wiil donate to other organizations from now on, they lost me as a customer, to bad. read more

I've really enjoyed the update our Flagstaff Goodwill has taken as they have changed their appearance, inventory, pricing structure and have brought back colored tag discounts (Yay!). I've been a regular customer visiting at least 2-3 times per month since moving here 4-5 years ago and I've never had any issues until now. During my last visit, I was approached by an unfriendly employee who was aggressive in her tactics and made me feel unwelcome. She wasn't kind in any way. I understand having a bad day, I do, but there is no reason to be unfriendly to customers. Next time, I'll do my best to avoid her, but I think Management reminding employees to be kind, courteous and respectful would be wonderful and help their business thrive. read more

Well who knew there was a outlet for Goodwill stores?! Not this girl! We stopped in when we saw it on our way to another store yesterday. As soon as you walked in you could tell it wasn't a regular Goodwill store... I has to ask if we were able to shop there because it almost feels like a distribution center where they sort things, because everything is just dumped in huge tubs and crates. I don't think there's really any particular order to what are in the bins so happy hunting! And that we did! My daughter found a few very nice winter coats and I found some great gardening planters. Everything is by weight and the heavier your purchases are, the more you save. Anything over 25 pounds is only $.85 per pound! Not bad if you find some good things but I saw quite a bit of things that probably could be thrown out because it was broken or very soiled. But I can't wait to treasure hunt again the next time I'm in Flag! The workers are not the friendliest but they're not rude either so I guess it's ok. Buyer Beware! As a regular donor to Goodwill Stores I hate to say this about the regular Flagstaff store near the Flagstaff Mall at the east end of Flagstaff. Although Goodwill Stores all over the country have a 7-day return policy, this store does not allow returns. This applies even to electronics which can not be adequately tested in the store to determine if they function properly. Even though they are selling everything "as is" there is no posted notification in the store of this "no returns" policy. Despite the "as is" policy the pricing of electronics for example is consistent and in no way lower than stores elsewhere that allow for returns. I was told that until a few weeks ago their sales receipts printed the standard 7-day return policy and they felt forced to honor it but would explain that it did not apply to their store for future reference. They now apparently have corrected that printing on the receipt so with no posting of the policy it is truly "Buyer Beware". read more
