Every time I shop at Walmart I see this pricing so I must take a picture. At checkout of course the item rings up at the higher price, so employee won't change the price so the line is held up so a manager can come over and usually refuse to sell for the lower price however today for the first time they upheld the lower price. Walmart needs to be more careful in pricing their items and only show one price. They are overcharging customers because most will ignore and just not bring it to their attention. Went to grab a watermelon for someone and I was accosted by three different men (Walmart staff) because I walked in from downstairs (Sam's Club) with a $10 tote in my hands. The front door man first, I understood his position cause he was only making sure it wasn't a return. Then when I found the watermelon (which isn't in season yet not sweet enough). As I proceeded to the self checkout counter another guy asked me, Did I need help with scanning my tote? I guess the wand wasn't working properly. I said, No I purchased this downstairs. Then a third man (they all looked like they were from the same family). He came over to my check out register and started putting in his associate log in. He went to proceed with looking up the tote but that's not what I needed to scan and purchase Smdh. I know they created this building for convenience per-say but it's an inconvenience when you're looked at as if you are a thief. This has to be the worst trip I've had here. Of course, there are plenty of employees working, but no one to actually help you. When I did find someone, they didn't speak English at all! Within 3 aisles, I probably heard about 10 different languages ive never heard in my life. They handed me their hand held device to look up stuff on my own. Then, no one knows where the basics are located. Then, things are shelved oddly. I'm aware it's walmart and it's supposed to be messed up and have super scary customers (which is the main reason I even visit) but seriously? I ordered several items on Walmart.com and got an email notifying me that Walmart had canceled one of the items and that my money would be refunded within ten days. After more than ten days, my money for that item had not been refunded. I was not sure what to do, so I went to Customer Service at this Walmart. Adrian and Melissa knew exactly what to do, and because of their patience and persistence, I have finally received my refund and a five dollar credit to use on a future purchase. A big THANKS to Adrian and Melissa!! Also, when I ask a store associate to help me find a product, they actually take me to it instead of giving me the brush-off that I have experienced in some other stores. I read some of the reviews, and was glad that my wife and I had decided that rather than fight our way to the store, we would just place an online order for delivery. You will notice that the store information mentions that the store offers delivery. "Offers." They do not actually deliver anything. We actually had a Walmart+ account (until about ten minutes ago) so I thought we should be fairly important customers to them. We were part of the first wave who were dumb enough to think they could actually come close to Amazon Prime. Walmart+ customers are apparently treated like any other customer, if you read the other reviews here. That is to say, they are treated poorly. Walmart does not care about Walmart+ customers. Not only can Walmart not meet a delivery window they set themselves, but they failed to let us know the driver had gone back to the store (for no apparent reason.) We have been self-isolating for a long time, and I've seen some pretty useless delivery drivers but I have SEEN them. We never saw the Walmart driver because he went back to the store. In his defense, it is just over two and a half miles from my house to the store, so there are a multitude of ways to get lost. So, no delivery. We found out the driver had returned to the store because after my wife was on the phone with "support" for over a half-hour (and added 56 points to her blood pressure), someone at "support" discovered it. However, Walmart service could not call anyone at the store to find out what happened because the store was "closed" (at 8pm, when it closes at 11pm.) If we wait 24 hours, we can submit the order again, and they can start processing it again. Alternatively, in 24 hours, Amazon can have the crap here. If Walmart wants to compete with Amazon Prime and Instacart, the first step would be actually getting an order from the store all the way to the customer's door. I suppose in its own way, never showing up is the ultimate in touchless delivery service. So, next time you're at the store, pay attention to any homeless guys asking for money. They may be the only ones that know what they're doing. Walmart sucks. read more

I had my credit card taken from me during a swift bait and switch at the self check out about a dropped $20 bill. DO NOT let anyone see you put your PIN number in. Anywhere. After dealing with my bank and filing a police report, I called the Walmart and was told the manager said to just file a police report. We don't do anything here. The next call was to Walmart corporate where lots of help was given. Not sure they can do anything, but they should have the thief's mug on video! This guy is in your store!!!!!!! So, we all know that there is nothing calm about a Walmart - all of their stores are overflowing with tons of people and tons of stuff - that is never a calm combination. I won't comment on any of that, because "you already know." My hubby and I popped in here to buy a big screen TV. As hubby looked at the TV's neither of the two salespeople in electronics came over to assist. Finally, a third sales associate showed up and walked over, greeted us, and offered assistance. (Yes, I know I could have walked over to one of the other associates, but when you see me looking at big ticket items, you should approach me. That's just good business.) The staff member who ended up helping us was very patient, answered all questions, and rolled the TV out to the parking lot for us. What I do like about this Walmart is the underground parking for both Walmart and the Sam's right next door. I like that both stores are next door to each other, and it's pretty difficult to end up with a bad parking space. Because this Walmart is so large, it does carry many items that other Walmarts don't carry. Other than that, .....Wally World is Wally World. read more

This location is a disgusting homeless encampment. We drove here to shop and walked back to our car from the door. There were upwards of 5+ homeless people not just walking around asking for money, but actually sitting against the building by the doors asking people for money. How a business allows this to happen is beyond me, but I will not be spending money here. Full disclosure: I am That lady with the ads all over the place and a handful of coupons. To make matters worse, I sometimes bring my own reusable bags. Yes, I am that lady you do Not want to be behind but I'm also part of the WM population that pays with my own money, by credit card, so unless you'd like to pay the $25-$50 difference in savings for me, I thank you for waiting patiently or suggest you go to another line. I've been to a lot of WMs and this is definitely one of the better ones I've patronized. Three guys went in search of the elusive white pepper, even after I told them not to worry about it since I have no idea what it is either. The biggest reason I HAD to write a review, however, was my cashier's grace under pressure. For some unknown reason, my total went UP after she scanned my coupons and neither the machine nor the manager could remove the items that were causing the problem individually so we had to redo the ENTIRE transaction again. That meant unloading and reloading Two full carts of already-bagged items, half of which required competitors' price adjustment. It was she who noticed the discrepancy in the total and she who remained cool and collected while I stripped off bags and did what I could to help move things along. Every trip to WM is a sort of adventure and I'm ever so grateful to the cashiers who still smile and help, even though they have to remain in the trenches after we get our things and go. From all the couponers out there, I thank you for not treating us like thieves (Lord knows Mr. Walmart is not going broke anytime soon) but for understanding that we've done the research on how to make our money go further, and that time spent comparing and organizing is also a sort of price we pay. read more

It's Wal-Mart. What more can I say other than this is the epicenter for 'Murica and all the gluttony that comes with it. That being said, I'm no sucker and I like saving money. You'll find most things here are of decent quality and you will get your money's worth. A tip for this location: use the parking lot on the second level for safe, covered and close parking. Like another reviewer mentioned, this Walmart is closest to Uptown and Downtown. It's nicely organized and has wide aisles for dancing. Ok, don't dance. They have an organized mess of a clearance aisle marked by yellow smiley-faced balloons behind the beauty aisles which is cool. I never actually find anything worth purchasing on it though, but I'm always happy that it's there for a looksy. Is that a word? looksy? Once I almost bought some old school crazy straws. You know the ones that make your beverage travel through loops and stuff? Mm hmm. Respect my gangsta. Parking isn't really bad, but you kind of want to say it sucks. The true annoyance is maneuvering in and out of the parking lot with everyone else and they mama. I'll be back here when need be. Visited this Walmart super early to get the last few tidbits for my Halloween costume. Their website said they were 24 hours, but when I got there, at 5:45 am the doors were locked and the signs said they opened at 6am. Compared to the Walmarts in downtown, which I have mostly seen the Neighborhood Markets, this one was huge with a wide selection - a regular Walmart. It was relatively organized so I was able to find what I was looking for with ease. Other things to note, there is a huge underground parking deck next to the building that serves both Walmart and Sam's Club. read more

This store is the best example relating to corporate greed. They sell products they know are inferior by all standards protecting the consumer. I bought a bicycle on-line which was advertised for over $300.00. It was made in China (enough said) yes it did not have all the parts and the directions were a one page snapshot of the bike completely assembled. I spent 3 days with a trial and error laced fit of anger which I totally blame WALMART for my loss of self esteem and bad language. I sent many emails to their support team only to be ignored and finally told to call a 800 to get in line with all the other chumps who buy from China's WALMART outlet. I had just moved to Dallas after having lived in a surrounding suburb for the past nine years. I was really excited to learn of a new Walmart that was close by my new digs in town that had just been built, but to my disappointment, I have to say that there are just a lot of problems within this location that culminate in an overwhelmingly disappointing shopping experience. First, my biggest complaint is that they NEVER have an adequate number of checkout lanes open. I am typically just purchasing a few items, and always late at night, but what should just be a simple in and out, always turns into a time consuming ordeal where I am at the mercy of just three cashiers lanes...there are like 20 plus lanes, and it's a guarantee that I will spend at least 10 minutes waiting. My second gripe is lack of assortment. It would seem that a huge Walmart in the heart of Dallas would have the best selection, but compared to the Walmarts out in the "burbs" this location has a very slim selection of food and other products. Moving on with the complaints, I can never find baskets to shop with in this place. I showed up tonight, and I just grabbed the items off the shelf. I may have purchased more if I did not have to lug the items around in my arms. I looked everywhere for any baskets. There were none. None at the entrances, none at any of the checkout stands. How does that happen? I am not planning on purchasing a large quantity of anything. A shopping cart is too cumbersome. Is it too much to ask that they provide hand-baskets in clearly designated areas? Also, this location closes at midnight...What? midnight? That is crazy early. The Walmarts in the suburbs are open 24 hours. Not only do they close at midnight, they close off one of the entrances about an hour before close which is a huge, mega inconvenience. Even though this is a brand new Walmart, I am going to say that the other ones I have visited are much better in every respect. it may be a new building and look nice, but it seems like just a subterfuge for all the other Walmart's for in Dallas proper. This one needs to be run and managed to the standards that the others outside the city limits are. read more

since COVID my family and I have been using the pick up and delivery options. sometimes its a hassle, a long wait, and they run out of things. yesterday there was a mix up with my dads order, sprinkled with some poor customer service. Keisha, the manager for pick up & delivery, SAVED THE DAY. even though it was super busy, she found the items that were missing from my order and even called me personally to let me know when they were ready. she came out to introduce herself and apologize again for the inconvenience. her attention to detail and warmth really restored what was a super unpleasant experience. I am a long long time Walmart fan and supporter, but my love is waning somewhat. I understand that Walmart is cheap in part because there is less customer service, but now twice I have gone to Walmart for items that for two different reasons I have had to actually find and talk to someone. If you go in a Walmart looking for an actual person to help you, then good luck. It was almost bizarre in roaming aisles in hopes of finding someone in a blue vest. It is hard not to shop at Walmart because they have some much stuff as a one stop shop and their prices are great but if you need any customer service (or if you need a nicer, more specialized item), then Walmart is just not the place for it. read more

The absolute worst Walmart i have ever been to in my entire life of breathing oxygen. The supervisior or manger DEBBIE was hella rude for no reason at all.
