So this weekend, I was the queen of Instacart delivery. I had so much to do. I have family coming in town to see my new place and I just had to get things ready. I didn't have time to go driving to stores and spend unnecessary time looking for parking spots and then waiting online so I just did the Instacart thing and ordered from every place I needed to and everything kind of arrived at the same time while I had spent time in the gym you know what I'm saying? So my niece and her husband from New York are coming for Easter and my nephew, her brother that lives here in Dallas with me he's coming as well so I told the kids I was not gonna make them Easter baskets. They're grown adults for crying out loud, but I did tell them I was gonna have a little Candy Bar upscale, you know with my beautiful crystal champagne glasses filled with jelly beans and other shaped glassware filled with See's Candy foil wrapped eggs, and other things that I could remember that are Easter faire- so the kids said to me, but auntie Marie is there not gonna be any peeps? Peeps like the little yellow chicken things? Yes auntie Mary and we like the blue ones too! lol so I was on a quest to find these dang blue and yellow chicken peeps mind you they didn't want the pink bunnies because they said the bunnies don't go peep only the chickens, so InstaCart and Target came to the rescue. I did find them and they are secured safely in my cupboard. Target's always been one of my go-to spots, and this location is conveniently close, which is honestly the main reason I keep coming back. I dropped in during Circle Week for some toiletry restocks and a few deals, but... as usual, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Let's start with the good: The store is mostly clean and organized, and the layout is easy to navigate. When the shelves are stocked, it's a solid Target run. Most of the staff I've encountered have been friendly and helpful, though I did run into a less-than-enthused rep at the service desk during one visit. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. Now for the not-so-fun stuff: Parking here gives me low-key anxiety. It gets super congested, especially near the front entrance, and I've never seen that kind of consistent traffic issue at other Targets I've visited. Once inside, lines can get long, and on several visits--including this one--there were a few essential items just missing from the shelves. The real kicker? On one visit, someone left an overturned blue slushie on the shelf, and when I reached for an item, I ended up wearing slushie instead. I headed to the restroom to clean up, only to find there was no soap and the space could definitely use a refresh. Ummm, not cool :-(. I understand that limited staffing can slow down response time for these kinds of messes, but still... not exactly the "happy shopping" experience I was going for. I've been into this Target quite a few times, and they almost never have what I'm looking for. I only go because it's the only one within walking distance! What made me leave this review, though, is that I came in looking for a rain jacket, but the employee Jazlynn sent me on a wild goose chase for trench coats and then for regular jackets. She didn't seem to understand that I needed an actual, treated rain jacket for actual rain, not just some random jacket for when it's chilly. She was like "Oh! You want that material, well we don't have that," after I followed her around to random things that weren't what I asked for. Believe it or not, a random wool or cotton trench coat won't keep me dry when I walk in the rain for 10 miles. read more

This is my go to Target. But now I'm having second thoughts because if the way I was treated. I bought 3 cases of Pepsi products that were supposed to be on sale. I checked out and noticed I was charged full price for all three! Went to service desk and the lady behind the counter was in a foul mood. She didn't smile not greet me. I was just another problem to her. I explained to her what happened. She entered stuff on her hand scanner thing and she said that the products I had weee not in sale. I explained to her that was not what the sign said."Well you are wrong". "Do you want t to return it?" I said "No, I would like the sale price posted'". She made me go back to the soda aisle and take a picture of the sign to prove it. Seriously .. she couldn't radio someone. I went back and took the picture and showed her. "Not what my computer says". "Do you want to return it?". "No I want the sale price". She refunded me one of the cases. I asked her to notify her manager if the issue because they over charging customers. She rolled her eye. No apologies.. This target is super organized and clean! The workers were very friendly when they greeted us as we walked in. They were having 40% off on sodas, and buy 2 for $5 chip deals! A great selection of food, clothes, home goods, and entertainment. It was not too busy for a weekend evening. The bathrooms were pretty clean, and the self check-out was easy to use. Target I'm thoroughly disgusted and disappointed that you have let your men's restroom get to this... the floors are always sticky, literally dirty caked up everywhere, no tissue paper, no soap, graffiti everywhere, homeless people are allowed to take it over and leave dirty clothes and nasty towels. At checkout, we got into Esteban's line. He isn't happy. He doesn't smile, no greeting and he not only placed my eggs in a bag, he placed abot 5 other items on top of the eggs. Of course several broke. I mentioned to him if someone could get me another dozen. He then told me the eggs were broken when he rang them up. They weren't. My friend and I both checked. He then stopped the line to argue with me about it and accused me of being wrong. That's the worst customer service possible. You never argue with a customer. When I asked him for a separate bag, he reluctantly gave me one. So much drama to remind he who he is. Seriously, you need to remove him from the lanes and put him in receiving or drive up. He didn't care. He represents your store poorly. Someone else won't be as nice to him as I was. I don't want to shop there again. You cannot be that desperate for team members. He needs to be spoken to by an ETL. I know one at Medallion who will set him straight in less than 15 minutes or fire him after writing him up. Please do something. read more

Scary Target. Someone was randomly stabbed in the restroom last week. Parking lot is crowded with sketchy people just sitting in their cars. One security guy by the front door just yapping with an employee. Store was crazy crowded with lots of stuff not on shelves in Grocery. It looked like we were in the middle of a pandemic again. They ran out of basic shower curtains, which sucked. It was the main reason for my visit here. The selection was limited, it could have been better. The lines were long, possibly Christmas. Pricing is usually ok, a bit higher than other department stores. I feel the service could have been better though. read more

I e been coming to this location for years and i can honestly say that over the years I have seen an improvement to this location. Now keep in mind that this is a smaller location that other stores and it's located in a busy location where parking is sometimes a headache but if you are needing to run in and grab something the store itself is clean, there is a Starbucks located inside, as well as an ulta and a small food selection. Some of the complaints - long lines - I e never experienced as they have a self check out and the staff is pretty good at trying to open lines when they see people waiting, the items all seem to be organized (granted you will have people leave things anywhere but it happens at most stores), and as I stated the staff seem helpful when I've asked for help. read more

This target is like a Walmart. Long lines and curb side pick up is supposed to be better but it's always a 30 min wait getting in and out. They are ridiculously packed all the time. It's worst when they're remodeling the curb side pick up leaving you very little room to drive through. People walk everywhere. One after another crosses the streets, nobody ever stop to let the cars go. They also walk EVERYWHERE. People don't get the concept of walking on one side so the cars can drive on the other. They just walk everywhere, on both sides and crosses the parking as they wish. It's really hard to avoid hitting people because I would need a set of eyes on back of my head. There is always a group of shady creepers camping behind the target and I am sure its the same ones that stalk the parking lot and/or sit in the front asking for money. Not sure why there is a huge group here but I usually go during the day and always for a quick in and out shopping. Just realized I hadn't reviewed this place though I had been here in 2020 (before covid). I still remember my visit very clearly so I thought I'd review it now. The store is clean & your standard Target. It's located in a plaza near a residential area. I was in Dallas for a conference & it was colder in Dallas than I expected so I had to buy some sweater because I was freezing. Now I come from Canada so I would've brought my cold weather sweaters had I known it would be that cold. Anyway, the staff at this store was so friendly & helpful. It was relatively early in the morning so the store wasn't busy. I found some sweaters to try on & went to the fitting room. No issues there the clerk in the fitting room was nice too. I got my items & paid for them. Had to use the bathroom & it was very clean. If I'm ever in Dallas again I'd certainly shop at this Target. read more

I went earlier and noticed the workers with some in hand (thought they were gonna stock them) but they took them to the back. IF YOU ORDER DRIVE UP OR PICK UP MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES BEFORE YOU TAKE OFF! Better yet, just shop on your own. They take advantage and purposely give you expired items. Wouldn't be as bad if it was shelf-stable items but not long ago I received expired eggs and today I received expired raw chicken. Ruined my family's dinner, at first I was thrown off because I got home and noticed the chicken was frozen which is odd since it's supposed to be only refrigerated and then I noticed it had been expired. I asked for a refund on the app which I don't know if they'll give me since technically I'm supposed to return it but I don't have time for that since now I have to come up with a different dinner plan. 95% of my Target purchases in the last 3 months have been online through the free Target Android app. Any dry goods order over $35 has a free delivery within 2 days. What a great option!! Especially with the way those young kids run red lights here in Dallas. Bless their hearts. Set up of the app was only a few minutes, easy to navigate, with the right amount of shipping & delivery notifications. I have also bought early Easter gifts for friends and family living in different US cities/states, through their app. Everything arrived on time, complete order, fresh food items, nothing stale or broken. Nobody wants a mangled Godiva Easter bunny...LOL. There was only one hiccup in all my orders placed. Delivery times kept getting pushed out due to their business delivery partner: UPS. Apparently United Parcel Service assigns only 1 driver and 1 BIG rig to make deliveries to various cities/locations. So when a driver is sick or a vehicle has mechinal complications there will be delays. Personally, I was fairly compensated for my one hiccup. Onward and upward my friends. The shopping online convenience factor has been stress free and super breezy easy. And every online Target purchase earns vote opportunities. Us consumers have 5 choices on where we vote Target will split their annual $20,000 contributions to local non-profits. Really love and respect this program. My votes always go towards the Texas Food bank. Food insecurity is definitely an issue, it was before the Pandemic, which has unfortunately only exasperated food hunger challenges in our North Texas communities. Did you know the USDA states that one in 6 people in the U.S. are food insecure??? Meaning a country of 325 million citizens has sadly 54 million people wondering where their next meal is coming from. It's a sad state of affairs. Support food banks please. My last in person shopping in Spring of 2020 at this brick & mortar store was pleasant. I was in line for the self checkout and my digital redcard would not let me checkout. The lady in front said she cannot help me out and brought me to customer service. At customer service, they said they cannot help and directed me to call the redcard phone. After speaking on the phone for 10 mins, they said it should have work. I then went back to customer service and the manager had to assist me to get it to work while I was on the phone with redcard. This unfortunate experience was absolutely horrid, and I probably will not be shopping at this target location again. read more

I think its official this Target has won be back. I used to kind of avoid it, and would go to Super Target, even though it's out of my way. The remodel did this place well. They're not a full on grocery store like the super one, but they have the basic essentials you might need. Like other reviewers said this place seems to be a lot cleaner than it used to be. There is still an interesting mix of people that shop here. The parking lot is still a beating, but I just opt to find a parking spot and don't fight with everyone else to find the best. Ok. Auds and I desperately needed a Target and this one was closest to our hotel. I was a little nervous because of the previous reviews, but like I said; we were desperate. I wouldn't normally think of giving target a review let alone a one star, but this location would have to be the worst I've seen. This is the first dirty target location I've experienced. Carpet was filthy and old, and it was literally trash on the floor around the store. Management needs to be more on top of this location. Parking lot was also a mess. And to add to this, every other target I go to since covid, the staff are cleaning the baskets and not just leaving the cleaning supplies for you to clean the basket yourself. I'll make this review kind of short and sweet. The good part about this store is there were a lot of attractive women shopping here when I win. I mean a lot. I went in at about 5 PM on a weekday and nearly everywhere you turn, there was an attractive woman. The bad part about the store that I didn't like is they were kids running around everywhere acting crazy. It looks like the parents didn't care. Items on the shelves were all in disarray.
