Strung me along for interviews and job offers just to stop reaching out, highly unprofessional, I won't ever apply to a walmart again thanks to THIS walmart read more

This was the worst Walmart I have ever been to, extremely disorganized, empty shelves everywhere, lack of essential popular products I am familiar with in other stores, and an awkward layout that left us going in circles just looking for basics like chips and breads. Also the price gouging is insanity, over six dollars for a large basic chips is proof this country will soon have that economic reality check! A small redeeming quality is the exceptional Walmart apps that integrates payments and tracking purchases very well. read more

I made a photo pickup order around 9am. Pickup time around 10am (like it's always been hence "Walmarts 1-hr photo" like it's been since forever). I paid ahead etc. Got a notification that it's delayed ... no prob. Went to the counter to ask an approximate updated time cuz - life. They said, "oh uh none of us know how to do it and the only person who does didn't show up today sorry." Cool. That seems made up. Customer service I go! I explain to the young woman at customer service the situation. I asked if there's anyone else scheduled for today so I can maybe come back and get my order. She's apologetic, understanding, & very sweet about it & asks me to wait for her manager of the store to do it so that I wouldn't have to come back. The "manager" of this place was awful. Lazy might be a better word. She treated the customer service woman like crap (snide comments/attitude toward her) and then proceeded to shoo me off. I asked if anyone else is coming in - she didn't know even though i was told she made the schedule. I asked for a refund - she's like "ya, we can't do that." HA bull. Yes you can. It's Walmart. I asked if she could just push the print button for the photos and she said no. Again. Bull. You're a manager. SO my point is - just avoid this place like the plague if you want a few photos printed - or a refund - or help with something. Hoping she finds a different career path soon. read more

Alpine Walmart pick up is terrible!!! Received a text at 1:45pm that my order was ready. Came to pick up my order about 2:15. My pick up window was 2 to 3. Waited 50 mins for them to bring out my order. At 40 mins. I went in and asked to talk to a store director or the person in charge. They had some coach Darius come up to talk to me. He was a JOKE!! Did nothing to help out. Probably didn't even bring his dumb ass out there to even help his people. The hole time he was talking to me he looked like he didn't give a shit.. I give alot of leway to retail because I've been there. Never agian!! I would rather pay little more than have to deal with incompetence. And to top it off. Walmart asked for a review. They only give u 300 characters. And u are forced to pick at least one star in order to leave a review. One star is to high praise for that store.!! read more

this is by far the worst Walmart ever!! the employees are rude and rarely do there jobs. heaven forbid you need something out of a locked case, because you will very likely wait so long you give up on what you need and when you ask for help from an employee who is just walking around talking with other employees you get a hand and a told I'll be with you later in a very rude tone! oh and if your a woman bring some kinda pepper spray because you will be harassed and literally looked at to point your so uncomfortable. I'm so over going to this place id rather travel an extra 20 miles to go to greenville or Jenison. read more

ZERO STARS!!! I will honestly NEVER shop at a Walmart unless it's a FEMA situation. I ordered for curbside pickup at 1:30pm for an 8-9pm pickup window. At 8pm sharp I receive a notification it's delayed. Ok, not a huge deal, but I tried to call to get an estimated time. I get connected with someone with an Eastern European accent who sounded HIGH AF! Worst customer service I've ever had that I was almost impressed by how terrible and incompetent he was. Needless to say he was useless. I decided to wait and see if a completion notification comes through. At 9:48pm I'm notified it's ready. We arrive a few mins after 10pm and the shift lead said that the dept is now closed and they won't be fulfilling our order, which was ready to be put into my car, right that minute. They said their dept was way behind. You're the shift lead man. This was on you. Needless to say, we "requested" our order be cancelled. We won't be returning to this or any other Walmart unless it's a natural disaster. read more

Ok. Never ever going to the subway here ever again. There was a guy that was on the phone then we said " can you please take our order" he started to get mad and did not take our order. Then another subway worker came and saying rude stuff. So we got the manager for the Walmart to come in subway. I kinda forgot what happened after that it was like 5-6 months ago. But this Walmart is good the remodeling is good the bathrooms are clean. read more

Noel continues to bring the team down. Called twice and talked to two different workers in the car center about service. My appointment was cancelled because they weren't able to perform service. Wasted gas and time, thanks for nothing and no "I'm sorry from Noel".how long can this service continue with their ratings. read more

Two stars because of the low prices, but you fail for grocery curbside pickup. It should never take over an hour for customers to get their groceries. Your system is seriously flawed. Why would you think it is ok to have like 30 parking spots for pickup, but only one person bringing out groceries. GREEDY cheap low down dirty corporate people in charge as usual with this decision. Round up customers like a herd of cattle waiting to be milked it takes so dang long. read more

Refuse to price match their own app/website. Used the app to check prices because it's so trashy there and nothing is where it's supposed to go. One item showed $15.99, rang up as $21. They want you to buy their subscription to "save money". In no way do you save money that way. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Searching people? And you have to pay for quick check out? And no saving at all. What a way to run a store. And getting rid of DEI. Never walking into a walmart again. read more

Had a return to make that was approved over the phone by management and 1800 Walmart customer service person. I had to go into the store because I had used the pandemic ebt card for payment and manager could not put money back without the actual card. So in I go. 3 lady's are working customer service and I'm the only customer. Stephanie was rude right from the get go. It's a $12 refund! Why should she be so snippy? She actually argued with me and talked over me! This is not the first time I have been treated rudely at this store. As convenient as it is for me to shop there, it will be my last trip for a long time. Meijers can have my business now. read more

I was unhappy with the Walmart eye exam and the service provided by the eyeglass sales ladies at this Walmart. I'll never go back to this business. What is really sleazy is that having spent 1 hr getting my eyes checked ... the prescription did not include the "PD' which is the distance between pupils. Without this measurement I can not order glasses through the internet. What a waste read more

I went to the service desk to exchange a car battery that went bad under it's warranty period. I was told that Customer Service was closed. This was in the middle of the day. I needed the battery to get my car running. I think that Walmart should consider closing this store if they can't deliver a reasonable level of customer service. read more

I wish I could give them a half star review but the one star will have to do. Honestly will never be going back ever again! The store was absolutely filthy, my shoes stuck to the floor throughout 70% of the store if not more and there was dirt and gunk all over the shelves! There were little bugs everywhere! Nothing was in the right spots on the shelves, I don't have the Walmart app so I didn't actually know how much I was really spending until I got to the checkout to pay. Basically every employee I saw was on their phone and had earbuds in not paying attention to anything. If I asked for help I was blown off or rudely scuffed at like I was stupid after they helped me. Honestly it wasn't any cheaper than a meijer! All in all I have never had a good experience here and this last time going was truly my last time giving this Walmart my business! read more

This specific Walmart is truly the worst I've ever had the non pleasure of being in. I refuse to go to this store. My complaint is in regards to online ordering. Walmart is claiming no responsibility and offering no resolve with my delivery not showing up when I recieved confirmation of the time and date. Received the tracking number and had that info confirmed. Got home from work... no delivery. Thing is I have to have someone to sign for it. Now I have to rework my LIFE because the delivery company Walmart uses screwed up. I was given no help after being on hold with EFW's customer service dept. for and hour. All I was told after contacting the corporate offices was I'm sorry, nothing I can do but tell you it will be delivered tomorrow between 12-4... i work till 5! Walmart claimed no responsibility. Someone dropped the ball. read more

Staff here has been very courteous and helpful to us. On Sunday we noticed there were a few kayaks--something we had been looking for. However, the ones they had were a bit expensive. An employee in Sporting Goods, Robert, saw us standing there and mentioned that they had a few more in the Garden Center. We went to look and found one we liked--but it wasn't showing up on the Walmart App or website as available--and it was scanning on the app at a different price as online. Robert was kind enough to help us when we went back to ask him about it. He helped take the kayak to Sporting Goods where we paid for it an it was held until the next day for us to pick up. Thank you, Robert. read more

It's Walmart, you know what to expect. Anyways I come here all the time and aisles in health and beauty products seem to never change appearance. There is always stuff misplaced as if no one takes the time to properly stock, as well as lack of items they 'claim' to provide. There was like 4 people all on their phones in the front when I came in, and none of them greeted. The security guard was a big guy and was on his phone too. Like what! read more

I was looking for something in the electronics department. I found a worker to ask about it and his response to me was a quick, mean response questioning why I didnt ask the other workers in the department. The workers response was horrible. Super dissatisfied, bought two new tires from tire center was told they don't take appointments, went in today to get the two tires mounted"do you have an appointment"? Tracked down some store help besides the shop manager for correct price adjustment for mounting. Felt once they got me in they delayed the procedure unnecessarily because I sought and acquired help with pricing. I didn't want any "up sales" even though they seem to push as well as were reluctant to mount on the front with the new tires even those they were worn and needed replaced. Felt they were "trying to upsell"rotation which I didn't need as rear tires were relatively new. Had other issues in the past with same facility where it took over three hours to mount a tire and seems I had to nudge to get it done... read more

This wal mart is terrible. Every time I've been in I've had to wait in line for at least a half hour, with frozen food leaking everywhere. I feel bad, because the cashiers are always friendly but don't always seem to know what they're doing. I'll come in on the off hours, if the lines aren't still backed up. read more

Absolute worst Walmart I've ever been to. Waited 30 minutes while 4 old women tried to refill a money order receipt machine and the manager is standing there not helping even in the slightest and then has the AUDACITY to tell me to 'be nice' when i say to my boyfriend that next time we should go to a bank to get a money order. I'm sorry you're all completely incompetent. Don't go here I'm so serious it is an absolute mess. read more

Who would have thought a 5 star review for Walmart.. 2020 really has been a doozy! Finally besides low prices Walmart you have finally stepped up in shopping experience! Albeit this is not in the actual store, which still pretty much sucks in comparison to the in store shopping experiences at places like Meijer and Family Fare. You have exceeded in the online grocery shopping experience. Your app is top notch, the ability for me to tell you I am on my way and you track me, to when I park and I simply enter the spot I am parked in. Every time they have had my order ready at the beginning or even before my time slot. The app notifies me of substitutes or items out of stock before I get there and I can say no to them. The wait to get my groceries once arriving is minimal despite multiple other cars being there. I have avoided Walmart in the past due to customer service and likely won't make it a habit to go in the store but WOW they blow it away with the free curbside pickup. I have used this service more than 5x time and every time they have executed flawlessly (what happened to you Walmart? This is weird!). Can you just fix the in store experience now? I travel 20 minutes more than it would take me to get to a Meijer and I hands down will keep doing it for curbside pickup. read more

I'm done! Never again! The pharmacy sucks! Long lines and then incompetent help. Instead of calling in a "vacation override," they just got rid of my meds, I guess. Now, for the second time, vacation is delayed because they failed to properly do their job. Long lines, incompetent help, no supervision Fri-Sun, etc. I'm done. Walgreens might be higher price, but at least I'm not crying on a Friday night to get meds for colitis....not like I'm begging for pain killers or opioids (or whatever they are). I just want my meds so that I can live life....I hate Walmart! read more

6:30 pm on Friday. 2 'real' lanes open, but one isn't moving. This is why I hate to shop here.

This is 1 of the worst places to Shop in Grand Rapids Area.Seems every time I go nothing is ever in Stock .So I go back 3 days Later to see if I can find what I needed and it was even Worse then the days before trip. How can any Store Manager set there and let their Shelves go empty? Makes no Sense to me I was going to take Pictures and then Post them but why /.The Store employees and the shoppers all know as I have met some decent people while talking about how Poorly the store is run.Not to mention after looking and finding only half of what I was shopping for I have to wait in line to check out because they are cutting Jobs and using the u scan fast lanes so they doine have to have employees at the regusters.,] read more

Great Walmart. We had a flat tire and they stayed after hours to fix it. Super friendly and really helped us

There's often a very long wait as few cash registers are open with even fewer that service people with more than twenty items. It almost negates the cheap prices. They have pretty good fresh baked goods, more and cheaper than meijers usually. I've also gotten regularly friendly cashiers here too, which is nice. read more

Walmart in general is a NO-GO for me. I recently filled out a 5 minute survey online regarding my last photo purchase where my experience was beyond ridiculous. I informed them I'll never be shopping there ever again, nor will my family. The stores are overall dirty with uniformed staff that seemed bothered when you ask a question, no self-check out lanes (at this store) which makes it even worse b/c then you can't avoid their rude staff, the produce has always had bugs flying around, and their "organic" produce was molding and squishy the last time I was in. I'd rather spend a dollar more on EVERYTHING I purchase somewhere else than give money to the Walmart Chain. Awful. Awful. Awful. read more

I shop at this store a lot because of its location. Recently I had to return an item because it had been taped shut, I was worried that it had been opened and tampered with. Customer service is very slow. Everyone working there moves slowly and don't seem to know their business, always calling in a supervisor. Please train your employees! read more

Haven't been in this store or a few years and went today for something, what a DUMP!! Won't be going back.

Store full of people... three check out lanes open. They also put the oldest, slowest people at the speedy checkout. Lord have mercy

This Walmart is terrible. Me and my Dad went there to find food items that we couldn't find anywhere else and no one helped us when we couldn't find the items! We passed many employees and asked for help but we were ignored. Also, the floors were super sticky and gross and had a lot of stuff on the floors that I don't want to know what it was. On top of that, we found some expired food on shelves by a few weeks! After that, when we were checking out on a self checkout, the machine broke down and we had to wait 10 minutes before help came! We were almost late to the event that we were picking up the food for because of this! And once we had gotten outside, there were quite a few people smoking right next to the doors and the smell was so strong that I couldn't breathe for a few seconds! I do not recommend this location especially if you are in a rush. read more
