Target 44th St., Southwest in Wyoming. Thought I would run into the store and get some shaving cream and I found this really cool comforter that was on sale. You don't find very many men's pattern comforters so I grabbed this one and promptly ran up to the checkout. So there are two people ahead of me in the checkout line. The first person had a cart load of groceries and of course there was something that wasn't scanning so we all waited for five minutes and nothing apparently got fixed. I finally asked the checkout person if she could call somebody else to open up another line. Another five minutes later, so this is a total of 10 minute standing in line with three people ahead of me by now there's five people behind me. Nobody else has coming up to open up any checkout lanes. Again, I asked the cashier is somebody coming only to get snapped at finally I asked for a manager and they said something about they only have so much staff and this is they're doing the best that they can why find this to be BS target can do better target has good products. Nice clean store but their customer service is very disappointing The sad thing is it doesn't ever seem to improve no matter what time of the day you're going to the store that's always gonna be a line and not enough cash register is open. 3rd Target today, and while it's the best in area, still failing at all points. 3 of six self check outs out of order. Your choice is huge cashier line or huge self check out line. So much time in lines!!! Out of all product I went to get again. Was listed in stock online but any employee was too busy to stop and help. 3 employees was all I saw, and 2 were chatting at register. Once again, management outside smoking because they were unavailable. Zero value. Store has nothing to offer you cant get 50 percent cheaper at Meijer. Unless you support the bare minimum a store could do, shop anywhere else. read more

I would give this store zero stars. This store has been HORRIBLY messy for atleast 2 weeks. This needs upper management help ASAP. I have never seen any retail store this much of a mess. I understand staffing may be difficult, but this store is in need of DIRE help. Target...do better. People can't get through the aisles due to the amount of stock sitting there! read more

Worst Target in Michigan. Never stocked, store's a complete wreck to shop, and not one associate knows how to greet or do what's right for the customer. Every time I go I'm disappointed, and I've come to the realization that it's just how this Target is operated. Save your time and go yo any other the other ones nearby. read more

Rating the grandville location here. I have been to this location multiple times in the past year and EVERYTHING is absolute chaos. The clothing sections of the store are almost impossible to look through since everything is so disheveled. Most recently, I was trying to find childrens books, and an entire isle was completely blocked because it was blocked by unpacked boxes. The back to school section was an absolute disaster. Once again, boxes were everywhere, many of which were opened by customers and riffled through. Many things are not in their correct spots. I can understand if this were to be the case once in awhile, but this store has been like this for MONTHS. If you are looking to find something quickly in this store location, I do NOT recommend coming here. Find a different store. read more

This is a pretty typical Target, maybe a little bigger and better stocked than others. I'm not so impressed with their customers though, the shoe and some other sections were just trashed like a college dorm Sunday morning. I don't think it was because the workers weren't on top of things, in the short time I was here I passed through a couple of sections that were being neatened up and those were messed up again by the time I came back around. Lines fairly short. Parking lot adequate, lots of other stores in the mall. read more

Convenient location, large store, with lots to offer. This is the anchor store for a small strip mall (that is still building up). Located right next to the new Cabellas and across the street from the Rivertown Mall. There are a lot of new places in this area (there are several small strip malls) so lots to check out & places to eat at. The store itself has a Starbucks & Pizza Hut located in the front of the store by the entrance. The restrooms are located to the right when you first walk in next to the Customer Service Desk. Most of the staff we have encountered has been helpful & nice. There has been times we have come for something in particular in their ad and they didn't not have it. Store is easy to navigate. We like the this new Target much better than the old store! read more

So I basically live here, I'm surprised they haven't put a bed in the back for me yet lol. I really love this location, it's my favorite next to the Cascade one. It's a large location, and it's nice! Most of their employees are friendly and helpful, occasionally you'll run into a not so nice one but generally, no complaints. They offer regular lanes, and self checkouts at this location. They also do a good job at keeping the place clean and stocked. read more

This is the absolute worst grocery store I have ever shopped at. Feel free to come here if you do not value your free time whatsoever. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I come here, the line extends from the self checkouts all the way back to the cosmetics section of the store. It is unbelievable (and no, the lines are not fast moving. Trust me when I say I have fallen for that trap many times and have ended up standing there for over 25 minutes like a complete idiot just waiting for a register to finally open up.) This is absolutely no fault of the employees; they are always very helpful and efficient. The ISSUE here is that they only ever have one cashier, and three, *sometimes* four, self checkouts open. Meanwhile, there's at least 20 other registers available that are not being operated. The most obvious solution here would be to use all that unused space to create more self checkouts. OR businesses can just start hiring people again so that there would be a person there to operate those empty registers. I get it, no one wants to pay their employees because it's expensive. BUT, off the top of my head I can think of at least three different occasions that I have walked out of the store due to frustration because I didn't have time to wait half an hour for a register to open. I am not the only one. Every time I'm in there I see other people walk out from the irritation as well. Nobody has that kind of time. This business is losing money due to there refusal to pay their employees. I wish that I could keep shopping at this location because the customer service is top tier and the prices are unbeatable. But I can't justify going back when it's impossible to actually purchase the stuff I want due to the lines. If the business does reply, I'm sure they'll say something corny like "We're sorry you had a bad experience. We'd love to talk with you more about this" Well I don't want to talk. Literally just start paying your employees so people can actually shop at your stores. In the meantime, I hope your singular, overworked cashier doesn't try to off themselves. read more

I have been to this Target in Grandville multiple times over the past year and it is absolutely horrific. There are constantly boxes everywhere blocking your path threw the aisles. Nothing is ever stocked and EVERY SINGLE department is completely trashed. Worst Target location I've been to in a long time. Absolutely horrible. Great selection of clothing for women & children. Men's section slightly smaller. Decor & office supplies are always changing & there truly is a great selection of items. Things are priced higher than the other store chains, but they do offer a larger & unique cluster of products I can't find at other stores. The location is aright, it can get pretty packed being close to so many other stores & check out lines tend to be long, so be prepared to wait a little. read more

Seriously? Only one third of checkout lanes open during the lunch hour?! Poor managing for sure.

I always love coming here! It has been my lifesaver many a weekend, as I loathe crowds, and grocery stores like Meijer are an absolute sh*tshow on Saturdays and Sundays. Target isn't too crowded and they have enough lanes open, especially with their new self checkout lane! The staff is always super friendly too, so it's my go-to place if I need something quick over the weekend! read more

So I guess I'm super confused... every time I purchase furniture from here they never have all the bolts and screws to assemble. Which is super frustrating. I wish I could say I was as happy as I was buying it... not to mention the night stands were the last two in stock... I don't know if this is helpful but make sure to count your parts. read more

We had purchased a big screen tv at a different location and they were giving us a horrible time exchanging it (even though it was within the hour!). We called the 44th St store and they were amazing. They had the new one waiting, helped us unload the damaged one, and helped us load the new one. We still shop the closer store for things like prescriptions for any other purchases, this is the only store we go to! read more
