He was perfectly fine with that level of customer service. I reached out through their social media first and was just told to go follow some other link to re tell my complaint. I had initially reached out privately because as a business owner I always appreciate being contacted so I can take care of the issue. To be given a link and shuffled off felt dismissive and tone deaf. This was once a great little neighborhood hardware but it is not the same with the new ownership

When I finally needed assistance, I had to interrupt a conversation between three employees just to get someone to help me. Unfortunately, the employee who assisted me didn't seem to have the knowledge I would expect from someone working in a hardware store and wasn't much help at all. In the end, I had to find what I needed on my own. So much for the helpful service I've come to expect from Ace Hardware.
