Not a bad store at all…read more Anyone that really knows me knows that all I wear pretty much is Polo Ralph Lauren polo shirts, t shirts and jeans so I want to see if this Grand Rapids location had anything that I couldn't get back home in Pittsburgh. They did have a few jackets that weren't carried back home yet but, we did get them a few weeks later. I saw a few really nice shirts but, I couldn't bring myself to buy them as Michigan pays tax on clothes and in PA we don't. This location inside Woodland Mall was pretty crowed everywhere we went as a "One Day Sale" was going on but, the salespeople seem to be handling it pretty well. They were really friendly though.

Went to this store yesterday and asked where is the womens plus size dept. was told we don't carry…read moreplus sizes any more. I said you don't even mark the sizes on the hangers!!??? she said no you have to look at the tags to find the size! literally a 4 top rack rack full of jeans all styles and sizes mixed together??? what a HOT MESS I don't have time to look through literally 75 jeans to try and find a size or certain style! IDK what has happened to Macys but my goodness this store is a disaster. don't they realize the average woman's size is 16 in America and they 'don't carry plus sizes.'. also as I was walking out I overheard another Customer ask a clerk 'where is the plus size clothes' and I turned around and smiled at the clerk and said ya see!!??

I wouldn't normally write a review for a big box store but The Rack is different. The Rack is…read morespecial. It's about a million steps up in style from the other guys in the value store playing field and has great prices for the brands they offer. Example: I paid $62.00 for a pair of J Brand jeans. Although higher than what I usually pay, this is an extremely good deal by J Brand standards. And I can't tell you how many times I've gotten complements on other Rack outfits. I'm a size 10 in shoes and usually it's all the left over, ugo shoes in my size. Not so at The Rack. They actually cater to larger size feet. I have to restrain myself from buying 3 pairs of shoes at a time 'cause they have so many cute styles. In addition to clothes and shoes, they have a good, rotating selection of workout clothes, coats, and jewelry. They organize by styles, prices, colors, and seasons so you can find what you want. To make it convenient for shoppers, they have little check out stations around the store. If you are paying with a credit card they will just swipe it at one of these stations so you don't have to wait in the longer line. Spoiler alert: not everything in Nordstrom Rack was actually carried in the real Nordstrom. I read that somewhere and was somewhat disappointed. However, much of it is, or else the brands themselves are carried in the Big Brother store and the Rack gets some of the off items/colors from those same brands.

Not denying anyone service? That's a load of malarkey. For those who are UNABLE to wear a mask, you…read morecertainly are refusing service. If one orders online and has to return an item, how is that item handled based on the fact that one was unlikely wearing a mask at home while trying it on? Do parasites or communicable diseases not count at home?, and what if a client had covid? You'd never know so how absolutely ridiculous your statement is. And 'extending this expectation to clients' again is a load of malarkey. That's a roundabout way of communism at play. 'Do it our way or you will be denied service' Perhaps you should review CDC recommendations again. Heir Fauci has stated from his own mouth that masks do nothing but placate the wearer. Ummm, yeah. Anyone who has a lick of common sense can figure this was a scam. Too bad for you Nordstrom Rack, you've lost a bunch of customers because of your politically correct/woke policies. I find it very telling that your stores, at least the last two I saw, were low in stock of most items. The stores seemed bare. Maybe it's a sign that the silent majority is done with your BS

Doooood this TJ Maxx/Homegoods hybrid is DOPE. I have an entire storage unit dedicated to Christmas…read moredecorations so I've basically been cut off from purchasing any more but if I COULD this would be the place to do it. It was stuffed to the gills with holiday stuff. Like, falling off the shelves because they have too much merchandise kind of stuffed. They also have a really nice selection of furniture, kitchen/pantry items, bedding and more. Their pet selection is also very solid. I miiiiight have purchased my dog a few holidays sweaters here. Oops! On the TJ Maxx side they have a really large clothing selection (since they don't need to make space for the housewares and such as everything from those departments are located on the Homegoods side) and some very nice handbags and jewelry. Outstanding selection. The one drawback is that since the stores are essentially merged there is only one check out area. I was there on a Tuesday afternoon and the line was very long. They do have a lot of cashiers to make up for it but it still took a fairly long time to cash out. Not the end of the world but something to consider if you're popping in for a quick shop and need to be out of there quickly.

This is the absolute worst store when it comes to customer service. Today, there were over 100…read morepeople in line and the girl at the jewelry counter refused to ring anybody up...not her choice but apparently management's decision. The Kalamazoo store always puts customer service first at least when I have shopped there. But in Grand Rapids, it seems instead of waiting on customers they would rather a woman just stand there and mark things down then serve customers. And management seems to care less that people are frustrated and angry . Is this how a customer service base should be in this day and age? It is no wonder brick and mortar stores will eventually be nonexistent. I would much rather order from a store online then experience this. If I could read it a zero I would and that all falls on management it's not that employees working aren't working their tails off.
