Assuming the name stands for its location -on the corner of Monroe and Division street- it is in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids and easy to find accross from the Civic Center and the police station. Currently, it hosts several clothing and accessory shops as well as a shoe store, floral design area, an ice cream shop (with amazing homemade cones!), and a soap & candle type shop. Because of its nature, shops rotate in and out so make sure you check in often to see whats here. On my most recent trip, I checked out Blu- Goodwill ' s fashionable new and used women's clothing shop for some great deals. I also explored the soap and candle shop for yummy smells. They have one particular candle called 'the queen of farts' that had me cracking up! Don't worry- it did smell good!

She went to the back to see if there were any of the items left that I was searching for, and there was JUST ONE! So she saved it for me and told me that she would get it shipped out ASAP and will get to me in time for my event. Not only do they have an awesome price point -- I heard some of the workers in the background being super helpful to find the item as well even tho everybody was off work and off the clock. I'm allowed to shop here for more than just accessories ;) Some of the current merchandise is nowhere near the quality of prior decades, so it often helps to check things out in person before buying online. Crewcuts (the kids' line) is hit and miss with quality, often overpriced and usually only worth it if you are picking up items from the clearance rack (and even then, make sure there's an additional markdown or a coupon.) Honestly, I'm not sure I would shop here that frequently if we still had a Gap store at Woodland.

When I asked if they had any scarves, the guy just turned away and the other girl showed me what they had. It was minimal conversation basically just directing me to the scarves.
