Not denying anyone service? That's a load of malarkey. For those who are UNABLE to wear a mask, you certainly are refusing service. If one orders online and has to return an item, how is that item handled based on the fact that one was unlikely wearing a mask at home while trying it on? Do parasites or communicable diseases not count at home?, and what if a client had covid? You'd never know so how absolutely ridiculous your statement is. And 'extending this expectation to clients' again is a load of malarkey. That's a roundabout way of communism at play. Great store, but very stimulating! There are just so many options and things to see! The marked down clearance prices are definitely what stands out about this store to me. There are many high quality, name-brand clothing items that can be purchased for reasonable prices on the racks of this store! This specific Nordstrom Rack location is large, spacious, and provides ample space for the varying clothing sections. More specifically, there is a child's section, a women's section, and men's section, and even a shoe and accessory section. There are just endless opportunities to be swallowed by outstanding deals! I do advise to check the price tags carefully, as there are some items that are still well above what some people may be willing to pay. As a whole, I will say that the prices take quality and brand name into consideration, even as clearance items. The fitting rooms were clean and the staff of the store was friendly and helpful. I was not assisted directly by a store associate but was able to witness someone who was. The employee served the customer with such a great attitude and was very friendly throughout their entire interaction. I am pleased with this company and this particular location! read more

Nordstrom Rack's Men's Dept. has some very nice brands- Bugatchi, David Donahue, John Varvatos- and is pretty well organized. Great selection of colorful men's socks! The children's shoes area is pretty messy and you have to search through literal piles of them, boys and girls mixed. I've only looked through the Women's dresses selection, which was VERY casual. The dress clearance had a better range of styles (casual, business, cocktail, formal), but were not marked down as much as they ought to be for being out of season/previously altered. When I made my purchase, the cashier neglected to bag all my items, resulting in me leaving the store without the item I came in expressly to get. A phone call resolved the problem, but it's a drag to have to go back to the store to pick them up. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is ok. I usually always find something when I go to a Nordstrom Rack. I couldn't find anything at this particular location for myself. This location did offer a good selection of health and beauty products for the ladies. They did have some sexy heels for the wife for "date nite" as they have an extensive women's shoe section but, that was about it. Good luck finding anything good if you're a guy but, ladies fill find tons here to purchase. read more

I wouldn't normally write a review for a big box store but The Rack is different. The Rack is special. It's about a million steps up in style from the other guys in the value store playing field and has great prices for the brands they offer. Example: I paid $62.00 for a pair of J Brand jeans. Although higher than what I usually pay, this is an extremely good deal by J Brand standards. And I can't tell you how many times I've gotten complements on other Rack outfits. I'm a size 10 in shoes and usually it's all the left over, ugo shoes in my size. Not so at The Rack. They actually cater to larger size feet. I have to restrain myself from buying 3 pairs of shoes at a time 'cause they have so many cute styles. In addition to clothes and shoes, they have a good, rotating selection of workout clothes, coats, and jewelry. They organize by styles, prices, colors, and seasons so you can find what you want. To make it convenient for shoppers, they have little check out stations around the store. If you are paying with a credit card they will just swipe it at one of these stations so you don't have to wait in the longer line. Spoiler alert: not everything in Nordstrom Rack was actually carried in the real Nordstrom. I read that somewhere and was somewhat disappointed. However, much of it is, or else the brands themselves are carried in the Big Brother store and the Rack gets some of the off items/colors from those same brands. read more

Great quality, styles, and brands for the price. Some things can be still pricy (they carry many luxury brands), other things are steeply discounted from what things of that quality normally cost. I've had luck getting nice dresses here for less than $50 (originally priced at 2-3 times that). I also like to look for work/professional clothing here. They stopped carrying full (interview) suits though. They also have a large juniors selection with newer styles and cheap basic tops in many colors. They also have a tailor in-house who will tailor your items for like $10 if you buy them there (convenient since my pants are always too long!). Good shoes and athletic wear selections. read more

Came to this location for the first time ever this past weekend. I love Nordy's Rack. She's always full and voluptuous. Today's visit to this Grand Rapids location was no exception. Came looking for a pair of boots. Came out with a pair of boots. Success. Nordy's Rack is great for shoes and accessories. Nordstrom Rack is the reason why people go to Centrepointe Mall near Woodland Mall. It's a large store with great deals off of quality clothes from Nordstrom. They also have a large shoe section as well. I bought a great pair of dress shoes for $50! read more

What does a girl do when she's in an unfamiliar town while her husband is at conferences all day? Shopping of course! I checked out the Rack to see if Midwestern clothes differ any from the styles back home. I found some of the same items I've tried on before and of course some new items. I was in awe of the large selection of winter items (coats, hats, scarfs, gloves). I did not have the need to shop those sections since we were only going to be here 5 days - but it was a unique touch compared to the San Diego stores. I was able to find a lot of cute dressy tank tops (must not be a popular item here as they're coming up on winter). Perfect for me! The sweaters were picked over quite a bit though. They also didn't have the typical huge selection of jeans that I'm used to. Oh well, I wasn't there for jeans. I found a great blazer on the clearance rack, 2 cute sweater wraps & 3 dressy tanks that will go wonderfully under the blazer for work. I would call this a successful shopping mission. read more

I highly recommend this location! I searched far and wide even back in Chicago for my boots. I first saw them here but I told myself I didn't need them(budgeting) Lo and behold I had to have them searched everywhere and finally came back to this location. A big thanks to Manager Mike at the Grand Rapids store. I live an hour away but made a special trip to shop there. When I got home with my MANY purchases, I realized I was missing my perfume I bought. Upon calling the store the next day, Mike was so helpful when I I told him my perfume might have slipped out of my bag. He found the missing perfume that I left at the register and offered to mail to to me since it was not convenient for me to come into the store again anytime soon. He was so kind and non-judgemental about my mistake. Thank you! read more

Browsed this store while in Grand Rapid for business and I was not impressed. The store was neatly organized but they did not have any clothing or shoes worth purchasing. Their active wear section was the highlight of the store and hits you when you walk in but that's it. From glancing at the men's section it appeared they had a few items worth buying but not for women. Also, from the outside it does not appear you are entering a store that is in a mall. When I opened the entrance door I stepped into a small quarter of a mall and had to walk to the back to the store. I thought that was strange. It was like they started to build an indoor mall but changed their minds in the process. The businesses surrounding this store are not laid out this way, you immediately enter the store when you open the entrance door. I give 3 stars because the store was organized which is difficult to maintain at a store like this. read more
