I really love this place. It has its own relaxed vibe and charm. I always find a treasure or two, and I'm a purist when it comes to antiques, so I find quality pieces. Prices can be borderline high, but aren't crazy-high. Definitely worth a stop! read more

This shop is not to be missed if you're in Western Michigan, specifically Hudsonville. It is absolutely worth the trip and it's MUCH bigger than expected, so plan to spend some time browsing, and maybe making a couple of rounds so you don't miss anything. This is a combination of vintage and new items and there is SO much to see and to choose from. They have clothing, decor, antiques & stationary + more than I can list! It's set up like an antique shop containing booths for you to shop in. This would be a fun girl's trip! Service was great and there are a variety of price points. read more

This is one of my favorite places to go shopping in the Grand Rapids area!! Honestly, I could just spend an hour walking around because it's so aesthetically pleasing and wonderfully curated. One of my favorite aspects of this store is the various women's clothing. There are so many cute and unique pieces!! The only "downside" of this store is that most items have a fairly high sticker price. So, if you're looking to visit here... be prepared to most likely spend a little bit of money. read more

Inspirational setting with both vintage and new merchandise! Caring owners and staff!

Such a fun place. I could shop for hours and hours! Love the mixture of new and old. My favorite store in the area.

This place is incredible. The shop is beautiful and well designed. My wife absolutely loves this place and I like it too. So many beautiful things you just never know what you're going to find. Highly recommend it if you're in Hudsonville. Honestly, it's worth the drive from Grand Rapids too. read more

This shop is beautiful, inspiring and very well kept. It is the most creative mixture of antiques, vintage and new items I've ever seen. It makes previously loved items relevant again. It will not disappoint! P.S. the items and shop do not smell like your "grandmothers antique store". In fact they often have local made candles burning that give the shop a wonderful scent. read more

This could be considered a free museums of antiques. I have watched and seen how The Found Cottage has come into her own. With her industrial chic elevated ceilings and her whimsical set ups. There are so many things to look at. From furniture to taxidermized animals. From dresses, to coverless books tied with frilly ribbons. From mirrors to winter coats. I think that there is something for everyone here. Literally from babies to the elderly. I mean I have bought clothes, books, and caramels all in one transaction here. I come here often. read more

The Found Cottage is such a fun store to visit! The store displays are amazing. I always feel inspired to try something different in my house after I leave the store, whether I purchase something or not. The prices are a little higher, but there is definitely a price point for everyone that visits. Also, the fall market that they host is the best! read more

Always a fun " me time" stop when I have time. I don't get there often but I enjoy it when I do. I love the mix of vintage and new items. A favorite booth is " Sweet Tea & Poppies". read more

Walking into this store feels like a warm hug. I first started visiting when they were just a small retail space down the road, and even though they've expanded into a much larger space the atmosphere has remained. The owners and staff here are so kind and helpful--there have been times that I have visited and made tiny purchases like a pair of earrings, and others where I've made large decorating purchases for my home. No matter the size of my purchase I always feel valued as a customer. This is a wonderful place to stop to just browse and take in all of the thoughtful displays--brand new items nestled in found items from near and far. It's truly an experience! read more

We absolutely love this store! We stop in EVERY summer from St. Louis on our way up north. ALWAYS find something special to buy!! it's a HUGE space & sooo many choices with many different price points!! We've purchased antique items, handcrafted products, jewelry, plants, cards, baby gifts & even purchased some clothes here too! The attention to detail with all their displays is AMAZING!! Last summer the sales gal assisted me finding specific items for a wonderful hostess gift. She was VERY helpful. We always feel welcome & inspired. Definitely will be coming back this summer!! I ALWAYS encourage others to shop here too. One of my favorite stores in Michigan!! read more

If you like "Fixer Upper", barn house style, or vintage finds- then the Found Cottage is the place for you! From old fans to chalk paint distressed furniture to a variety of plants for your home - there is something for everyone here. I was surprised to find a selection of women's tops for sale -there were probably about 100. The style reminded me of Anthropology or Free People without the big price tag - their prices I saw were between $30-50 for a nice top. Only downside to their selection was I could not find a size small to save my life. When walking around the store, some items looked like a fair price while others seemed very overpriced. For instance a price tag for a medium sized vintage fan ran about $70 and a large wall clock ran between $150-200. Next time I am looking for a unique statement piece for my home I'll definitely be back here! read more

Such a cute cute cute shop, can I say cute one more time! Seriously though this place is full of homemade cute home decor items. I would describe the place decorated like a modern log cabin, but don't let that keep you from coming in. They have items for every home, that is just what their place looks like. From light up signs to clothes, from to Michigan made jewelry to candles, from artworks to woodwork, they have something for every home. Literally, this place looks like etsy threw up but for all the right reasons! Looking around the store it gave me ideas and inspiration for ways to decorate a future home! I even overheard on lady say she drove in from Lansing because of a picture posted on their instagram. If you like homemade (well made) home decore items, you must check this place out! read more

I used to adore coming to this place. Every year at Christmas and thanksgiving it was my favorite antique place to stop at. After having kiddos I took a few years off of shopping to save money. I came back a few weeks ago and was absolutely stunned at the massive hike in prices. It wasn't an antique store anymore it was a giant overpriced museum. I talked to a few friends about it and they all said the same thing, the direction the store has taken is straight to richy rich town. Not a beautiful antique store anymore. Unless you have a ton of money to blow, don't bother. Bummed. read more

I was charged twice for a large piece and they refused to refund the money. I traveled from California to visit this shop and ended up with items that either did not work or were completely falling apart after delivery and I buy antiques often. read more

I really liked The Found Cottage. Beautiful displays with lots of vintage finds. There were pieces of all shapes and sizes, decorations and signs, and items to fit every budget. We were on a mission to find a specifically sized piece for a front doorway and didn't find anything, but we still enjoyed browsing the shop and exploring. Stop in and check it out! read more

Wow!! Drove all the way from Ann Arbor, and was blown away with all the beautiful things! It was so cozy that I didn't want to leave! The owner is Liz Marie, who has the lovely Liz Marie blog, she is as lovely as she is beautiful. If you are looking for an eclectic mix of antiques, and handmade decor for your home, this place is a must. My daughter and I bought a beautiful pillow, made by Fabric Scout. The pillows are made from felt banners, so adorable! Also bought a beautiful hand cut wooden deer plaque, a lovely antique butter churn, oh and a gorgeous "giant" wall clock. We also picked up some beautiful chippy iron antique bed headboards, and the cutest little creamers made by Rae Dunn. We spent a good hour and half here. We look forward to coming back next time we are in town! read more

We were excited to go to this shop after discovering it on instagram. While they have some cute succulents and some antique items, we went into here thinking that many of the items were from local artists, or of high quality. After we purchased several items, we discovered that most of them were made by a company called " "The Country Coop", and were made in China. We were even more disappointed to find out that there were stickers on most of these items saying that the products contained formaldehyde or other chemicals known to cause cancer. The Country Coop is a company that sells merchandise that can be found in large corporations like TJ Maxx and Homegoods for cheaper than they are selling in this store. Felt deceiving walking in here. read more

The always post on Instagram they have new items to shop online. They literally have nothing. Some sort of post cards and a gift card. How is that an online shop? read more

What a huge disappointment!! When this first opened, I would stop and find fun, new and unique items. Now it is a warehouse of overpriced, cheaply made, mass produced fakes. I find better items at Homegoods and TJ Maxx. So sad. read more

Oh my...this store is my FAVE! So many beautiful home decor options...old and new! I adore browsing the displays for new items to add to my home, as well as a way to gain inspiration in decorating with the pieces I already own. I have also fallen in love with quite a few items in their clothing section as well...this is definitely the perfect place to shop for yourself, or for gifts...and an awesome stop for a day out with girlfriends! You really can't go wrong! read more

2nd time there. Cute place but very pricey. Took my mom there on Friday 7/6, drove 1.5 hours to get there. The cashier told me I could set my items on the counter & I continued shopping, she knew my mom & I were there together. My mom checked out before me & the cashier started ringing up my items but we told her they were separate. When we left my mom had a gut feeling she was overcharged. Sure enough we discovered later that the cashier charged my mom $12.50 for the journal I bought & didn't take it off my mom's order when ringing up. My mom didn't want to make waves while we were there but had I known I would have had them take that charge off her bill! In essence, my $12.50 journal ended up costing $25.00! I felt so bad, she will never go back! read more

Super cute store! Love the vintage mixed in with the reproductions that give the same feel. Only downfall is the prices. Too expensive!! Please lower them to market value. read more

Literally one of the cutest shops in the GR area! Always filled with fun interesting finds and reasonably priced.

I feel like when this place was over in its original spot, it had more antiques and unique items. Now it seems to be a lot of crap that's made to look 'pinterest-y', and not actually original "flea market" quality finds. It has a lot of hobby-lobby-esque things that still have barcode stickers on the bottom - Made in China. read more

This past summer I found the found cottage! Love, Love this shop. Took all my family and friends that visited us at Anchorage Yacht Club. And the show at Holland Fair Ground Sept 1 thru 3rd was the best show I think I've been to! Never put these two together....although my friend knew;). Ladies you do such a great job! read more

I have traditionally enjoyed the Found Cottage, and I have loved finding some great home décor finds, quirky cards and gifts, and even a couple dresses here. I have found that the pricing seems to be getting steeper every time I go, to the point that I won't be shopping there other than on a rare occasion. It's absolutely a great feast for the eyes, but it is less of a treat for the wallet at this point! read more
