We have briefly moved our business a couple of times because our healthcare provider insisted - and have always come back because of the healthcare providers poor service, prices or both. I recently changed healthcare providers and the new provider insisted that to keep my prescription charges low and 90 days scripts, I had to use their preferred provider. The new 90 days scripts from their provider included a big increase in costs. I contacted Kevin at Kay Pharmacy who listened to my concerns and said to let him work on it and "he would do for me what he would do for himself". My scripts came in the mail the next day after I spoke with Kevin and my new scripts were for 180 days and had absolutely fantastic rates - best I've had in several years. The cosmetics section is really nice here and something is always on sale. Gotta love that! My other favorite place is the beer and wine section. You can always get a good deal on a local beer, or they do have a 10% discount when you purchase 4 bottles of wine. I use their photo lab quite frequently and the quality of the photo books, pictures etc, is really good.

The gentleman was told they could fill his prescript if he didn't mind waiting. I was told my prescription was supposedly ready at 3:45 but it wasn't. While we waiting for our prescriptions to be filled, 6 people showed up in line and were being helped. After waiting about 20 minutes I went to the consultation counter and asked how much longer for my prescription The Pharmacist snapped at me and told me to get in line. I told him I was in line before the 6 people. The pharmacist talked over me with raising his voice and. He was rude and raised his voice telling me he was only helping the 6 people in line. He was a complete jerk not only to me but the gentleman in front of me whose was waiting for his wife's prescription. Longtime employees -- including beloved pharmacists -- were let go and lost their benefits. These were people who had worked at those pharmacies for years and were part of the fabric of our small towns. Now? It's a mess. I went to pick up a prescription I had called in two days earlier -- it wasn't filled. And I wasn't alone. Three other people in line had the exact same problem. The friendliness we were used to is completely gone. Instead of calling and talking to someone I knew and who knew me, I get a robotic voice system. Locals here in Suttons Bay have been voicing a lot of frustration. Bayshore Pharmacy used to be loved -- now it feels like a place no one likes, staffed by people who seem overwhelmed or totally untrained. I placed an order yesterday morning with the intention of going after work to pick it up. The whole situation was messy when I placed my first order it was "cancelled" I called and asked why and the employee said "Its sold out" I went about telling her on the app it still lets people order and she said "oh." Very unhelpful so I just went ahead and placed an order with the perfume she said was in stock. I got the message of "Order placed" on my app but never got an actual text of its ready. I didn't think much about it figuring there working on it. Suddenly while at work I get the "Your order has been picked up." I called RIGHT AWAY and asked if they accidently gave my order out and the women manager went on about how I showed her my ID and order numbers and I picked it up. I told her there's no way Im at work and the manager went about how I shared my information with someone and they had my same name an ID. Mind you I did the fragrance promotion so my pickup items were more than 150$+ worth of items. She kept making it seem like my fault but they gave it to someone else. I told her I was wanting to press charges and she said no need they will. I was supposed to get A call back never did waited 4 hours and decided to call again. ANOTHER manager answered the phone and said "were working on it, are you sure you didn't give out your information to someone else." I said no! I'm at work and he described the person and car type and changed the story and told me ID isn't required for pickup. Yet the other manager said they checked her ID. Definitely feel like they shared my information with someone and I'm pretty sure they have done it before with how little concern they had with the situation. I called cooperate and they said sorry but since they said they asked for order number it falls on me, and I have to dispute. I have been shopping at CVS for A while and have only good things to say about the Lake Drive location and Plainfield. Very sad too about how little corporate helped too.
