I am not speaking about this Wal-Mart, but all Wal-Marts. They take away jobs from hardworking people by outsourcing. Although retailers benefit from this a lot more manufacturing companies do not. This place is terrible. They are out of jalapeños and Serrano peppers. The red bell peppers weren't stocked. The buttermilk wasn't there. I gotta say the prices and options for store brands are rather plentiful 1 star for that. Oh yeah and they were out of cilantro last time. There's carts all over the parking lot in spaces that customers could park in but now you have to park further away. There's only 4 aisles with cashiers and mine didn't know the code for carrots! I don't shop here for the amazing experience I do it for the cheap prices but not having stuff stocked is not ok. read more

Messy store. Walking around there was a bag of oranges in the pharmacy department, clothing abandoned by the DVD section and pastries left by the TVs. Was given wrong directions where to go for nearly anything I asked to find in this massive building. Everyone seemed clueless and could care less. When the cashier asked if I found everything okay I said no and she rolled her eyes and just kept ringing up my stuff. After paying she just gave me my change and didn't say anything but kept up with the rude attitude. Got a feeling she gets this a lot from a lot of people. Terrible place. read more

I wanted to buy tires at 5:00 on a sunday they had no staff available. They did have the tires so i made an appointment for 5:00 pm the next day. When i arrived the staff was friendly and got my truck in the bay in a timely fashion. After waiting almost 2 hours they tell me they can't get my valve stem module out of my tire so they can't preform the service. Why did it take 2 hrs to find this out? What were they doing to my truck for 2 hrs? I left with no tires . Avoid this place at all cost. read more

Management is awful. I placed an online order that was 3 days late, and when it was signed by someone there, they managed to lose it somehow. To make matters worse, they left me at the counter for 2 hours before they told me it was missing. Not once did a manager come and speak to me. Thought I could save a few bucks by having the item shipped to a store near me, but if I order online again, I will pay the extra and have it sent to my house. read more

Rotten meat at Walmart 3301 Pontiac Trail Rd., commerce MI 48382. As an RN it's my duty to share my story. I will try to make it brief and to the point. I purchased turkey meat for a taco night at $10 for 90% lean, 10% fat Jennie'O US inspected 3 pounds ground turkey meat. Friends were over and so I waited a few hours before beginning the cooking. I cut into the bag and smelled the most foul smelling odor you can ever imagine. It was on my fingers, it's stunk up the room and at first I was shocked because I couldn't believe this odor was coming from the meat that I just purchased a few hours ago. Clearly, I went back to the store and spoke to the first passerby; "Edward" a customer service manager" who eventually brought along Barbara who was the store manager. She smelled the bag but didn't flinch. Like a robot she said "we stand by our product and we will give you a $10 in store certificate for your trouble." I told her that had If had a cold and couldn't smell, I would have eaten this product without knowing and could have potentially hurt myself. Being a loyal customer, I don't usually check the expiration dates however this turkey meat happened to expire the same day I purchased it. I don't believe that that had any bearing on why it was spoiled. I told her that I believe their butchers should probably check the products before they present them to the public. Her excuse was that they have "good Samaritans that put free flowing products back on the shelves." I told her that if that were the case, perhaps they should hire more employees to keep after "good Samaritans" to make sure that they ensure that they don't jeopardize the public safety. Her answer was "we're trying. We are really working on that." I want the public to know that I will never enter that store again. I never minded that (in that giant store with nearly 30 checkouts and only two or three employees working in those checkouts, forcing the rest of the to check their own food out) was a problem. However, when you express a major health concerns to somebody that response to you as if your voice is meaningless, one would hope that you would be able to reach out to someone ( us, the public) so that they would know to bypass that store and take their business elsewhere. At least in the hopes that they would not have to deal with what I have dealt with. Do not sacrifice your lives or your family by purchasing rotten meat from a store location that is not willing to hire enough employees so that your safety is the upmost concern. Do not shop at a store that is not willing to hear a major health grievance but instead offers you a $10 gift card.I will never shop there again and I hope no one else does either. Stick together, or fall apart. read more

BE AWARE OF THIS WAL-MART I highly recommend you do not shop there or invest any of your money into a place where your Constantly been watched or lp following you in every step you take .. I ran into a honest situation with there lp .. He was a tall black guy wearing all black in his 30"s and walking around with his phone in his hand . I'm in my 50"s ' and rarely shop at walmart because i don't like there service and your Constantly been followed and there service is very rude .. Last week i happened to be in the area buying a microwave and stopped at the pharmacy to ask for a nasal spray and was debating on the $4.97 or the walmart $1.97 and decided on the $ 1.97 .. I noticed the lp black guy following me from the pharmacy to the check out .. I was not even in the store for less then 10 mins and while being there i was consistently texting my son back n forth ,due to solving a serious problem that was occurring . I was standing at check out 3 and a cashier came to me and said you can come to lane 1 while still texting for about 2 minutes and decided to jump into lane 1 .. I had left the microwave in the basket and while my$ 1.97 nasal spray was on top basket nxt to my purse , the cashier scanned the microwave while being in the basket and told her everything while i was not looking and still txting my son and paid with my credit card while not knowing what the total was .. As entering out the greeter asked to see my receipt and i showed it to him and looked at my stuff and gave it back as i was leaving the store i decided to end my txt and put my wallet and keys and the nasal spray in my purse so i can carry the microwave to my car ..as walking out the lp black man that was following me tells me i stole the nasal spray and i replied no i didn't i paid for it and tells me can i see the receipt and i showed him the receipt and turns out the cashier never scanned it or did the greeter tell me it's not on the receipt.. I told him sorry but i think she didn't hear me and i was not paying attn. And i will galdly pay for it or you can have it back .. He replied no you were stealing and i replied if i did wanted to steal why not the $ 4.97 . He replied either we go outside where the police are or come in this room to talk .. All this time he's nice and polite and me thinking and knowing i didn't do anything wrong or intentionally ,so i cooperated with him and went in the room As soon i went in the room it was Day and night with him , he was rude yelling and got almost aggressive with me and then says i gotta call someone in here before you think I'm sexually harassing you and just before he walks out he yells again after I'm saying i didn't steal and says that's it I'm calling the police on you and walked out .. He brings a lady worker to watch me til he comes in again and waits on the police and states things from 7 years ago that i was not charged or arrested before and happened to be known for having multiple business and spend large volume #'s with sam club that they knew i was good and been going there for over 20 years shopping .. Anyways police got there and right away they come in and handcuffed me , which I've never been hand cuffed before , They heard his side and then heard mine and padded me down and searched my entire purse and this lp thought a lot was coming out stolen and then officer asked if i had a record for stealing and i said no , the 2nd police comes and says she has no record of stealing and only comes up finger prints to own a ccw . . so the police asks the lp what he wanted to do and he replied for me to sign I'm banned from walmart and sams club for life and not allowed all over the states and if caught i would be arrested for trespassing and criminal charges filed against me .. I SHOULD'VE OFF JUST KEPT WALKING OUT AND AVOIDED THEM AND RETURN THE NASAL SPRAY AFTER FINDING OUT ON MY OWN. BUT I DID BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK I DID ANYTHING WRONG ... BUT I KNOW NOW WALMART LOVES TO STICK IT TO YOU AND TRY TO MAKE AS MUCH AS THEY CAN IN RESTITUTION MONEY AND BULL YOU INSTEAD OF GIVING CUSTOMER SERVICE BE ADVISED THERE IS NO LAW THAT STATES YOU HAVE TO STOP WHEN THEY TRY TO STOP YOU . LP CAN NOT TOUCH YOU OR FOLLOW YOU OUTSIDE OF THE CRUB .. IF THEY FOLLOW YOU TO THE PARKING LOT THEY ARE FIRED .. Have been shopping there ever since the Kroger next door moved a couple miles. Never thought we'd buy at Walmart but their grocery dep't was OK. We must've spent tens of thousands of dollars there, being a large family with good appetites. Today, someone thought that we didn't scan a $5 pack of sausages while making a $150 grocery shopping. Instead of politely asking us to show the receipt, which would have ended it right there, they had us intercepted at the exit, paraded through entire store in full view of other shoppers to some small hot room in the back, and went through every single item we bought turning our card inside out. I understand doing this when you catch someone not scanning an item, deliberately or as an honest mistake, but treating customers that way when it was STORE's mistake is rude to the extreme. A trash store at it's core will always remain a trash store, I guess. Going back to Kroger's and waiting for the new Aldi's to open next door. read more

THIEVES!! I paid at the U scan with my debit card and requested $40 cash back once the machine finish the transaction it beeped and said one of my transactions was voided so the machine spit out $78 for the item that was voided but it didn't give me my $40 which they definitely charged to my card I checked the bank and proved that. Young assistant manager came over and said he would help me and he told me he would come right back I showed him where I would be waiting I was there over a half hour and he never came back. I finally found a manager who had to find another manager who are right now counting the drawer of the machine that shorted me $40 I don't understand if a shoplifter walks out of this place with $40 worth of merchandise they would call the police I am very close to calling the police myself because this is theft. Worst customer service I have ever delt with in my entire life! Bought a $50 ps4 remote in the electronics department when I got home I noticed the serial number on the back was torn off and the remote had clearly been used. Tried using the remote and every 5 mins while trying to use it it would randomly pause the movie by its self. Went back up to this Walmart to simply exchange it for the working remote I paid for, had the receipt in my hand with a time and date stamp of me purchasing it just a couple hours ago, the customer service manager couldn't help me so I waited 30 mins for assistant manager Kevin. He refused to exchange the product and refused to check the cameras of me purchasing the remote in the electronics department. He then decided to walk away from me while I'm in the middle of talking to him. Never in my life have I had to deal with such Terrible customer service. Part of a managers job is to resolve issues with customers and Assistant Manager Kevin was the worst excuse for a manager I have ever seen. At this point it's not even about the $50 cost of the remote it's the principle, the fact that they are selling a used faulty remote advertised as new the refusing to give me what I paid for. I literally feel like I've been robbed. Treating me like I'm trying to scam them and I have spent thousands of dollars at this Walmart location. I will be going back in the morning to speak with the manager Tess then I will NEVER shop at this Walmart again! read more

I have two complaints about this Walmart. First thing is someone ordered my child a large gift online. We ended up getting two of the same thing for Xmas so we wanted to return the one to Walmart. The return policy online specifically said to return the item to your closest store. After I lugged the large item into the store they wouldn't return it or give store credit, they said I had to ship it back. Second if you are self pay for prescriptions not on the $4 list then don't use this pharmacy. Even though they have an agreement with goodrx.com which saves you up to 80% they wouldn't accept it. So now I get my prescriptions from Kroger instead. read more

If I could put no stars I would. I normally don't shop here (I tend to shop at meijer) but today I was reminded why I don't. I went into Walmart today to shop for a tv mount for my bedroom tv. While walking to the electronic department, I walked past a pack of 97 cent candles that I realized I needed for my house. So I picked them up and walked over to the electronic department. I did not have a basket. After speaking with an employee about the different types of tv mounts they had, I decided not to purchase any of the tv mounts they had given it wasn't what I was looking for. With that being said, it did not make sense for me to stand in line to purchase .97 cent candles, so I put them back. While I was walking out of the store, I had a gentleman (who was dressed like a normal customer) approach me and harass me about what item I had in my hand, why I didn't purchase the item and where I placed the item before leaving the store. I quickly realized that he was a secret shopper. After I explained to him what I came into the store for and answered all his questions, he asked if I could come show him where I put the candles back at. I felt absolutely disrespected & insulted. I'm not one to put out price tags but I'm wearing $200 ugg boots, a $1,500 watch and a $3,000 purse...not to mention the car I drive. To pretty much accuse me of stealing .97 cent candles. I did have a discussion with the manager in regards to the issue but I will NEVER step foot back into that Walmart. Absolutely terrible! Never getting my business or money again. read more

Let me just say i absolutely love Wal*mart. It's literally my second home i love going there for anything that i need. I just went in there not to long ago, to get gardening equipment, and this lady i do believe she is a manager (thats what her tag said) i didnt get a chance to get her name. but she has dark hair with thick blonde highlights in it. Anyways, I was trying to ask her a question and she was talking to another employee, she made me wait until she was done talking, in which i found very very very rude. Then, when she was done talking to the other employee i had asked her some questions and she was very rude to me and had a very bad attitude. I don't think she should even be a manager the way that she was talking to me and just how disrespectful she was.
