I'm all for hiring people with disabilities! The greeter was a very large man sitting in a chair when I came, and when I went. There were several people I think stocking shelves, but there were more likely chitchatting with coworkers and just in the way. I went up and down aisles more than once to wait for them to move. Then because of the size of my order, I did not want to do self check out. There was only one line open with an extremely methodical and beyond slow young girl named Montana. I cannot believe every single item was looked at and then scanned .I can't tell you the amount of time it took. Establishment is in a good location with convenient parking, and easy ingress and egress. It's a clean, bright, well stocked store with competitive prices. There's not a real good selection of cactus and succulents, although it's adequate. Good selection of houseplants and they were well maintained. read more

I like Walmart, some of the time. They sort of get you with lower prices on some items, and higher on others, so your savings are not quite as much as you think. They will also trick your brain by pricing items lower by a penny. But, that being said, I do frequent this one when I need to get their items. I decided to get some games for a family game night. They had a decent selection and it was a fairly good price for them. I also like their wacky holiday sweater selection for good priced items to buy for ugly sweater days at work. One thing I do really like though, I like their dupe fast food chicken sauces. While they are not all the best ingredients, they actually taste pretty good and are close to the real thing. The Caine's sauce is so good, but very hard to find. So many people found out about this sauce it is often out of stock. read more

Had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Target in Commerce Michigan. I went in to return an item and things went downhill fast due to poor training and unprofessional behavior from the staff. After the first young employee mishandled my return, Andrea (a team member there) stepped in and acknowledged the mistake, but told me there wasn't much they could do to fix it. While I remained calm, she suddenly accused me of "cussing and acting crazy", completely untrue and clearly an attempt to deflect from their own error. I left the store frustrated but returned to get the names of the employees involved so I could submit proper feedback. That's when I walked in on Andrea talking about me openly to other coworkers in front of customers, laughing and mocking the situation. I have this on video. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially when the store admitted fault in the first place. Talking about customers in front of others and mishandling a return should never be brushed off. I'd give this store a negative score if I could. I was a Walmart+ customer. Every time that I placed an order for delivery, it would end up getting delayed. And 98% of those delayed orders ended up getting canceled due to lack of information available from the store. When I'd call customer service, they'd just tell me to continue to wait for my order, or cancel it. And after two or more days of waiting, it'd get canceled anyway. And THEN I'd have to wait another week to receive a refund. I'm not sure who's running this store, but they should be fired IMMEDIATELY! read more

This Walmart is downright disrespectful and I'm not going to be coming to this location again. I come here because it is close to my work and convenient but the way I was treated is not worth the convenience. First things first, they had over 6 "secret shoppers" walking around and following me since I got into the store. I get it, I look 12 yet I'm 24. I just got off of work so I'm wearing bagging black joggers and a loose long sleeved shirt as well as no makeup. I understand the suspicion to an extent but to follow me around, notice I am looking for a specific thing that I cannot find (salt for ice) and not even asking me if I need any help is insane. How about instead of following someone who obviously is looking for something and cannot find it ask them if they need help. Once I find the three things I need (besides salt) I go to the self checkout. The person who is greeting everyone in and out is standing there and I already know he's going to try to stop me because of the fact that the secret shoppers decide to harass someone who looks like a young child. For a young girl that's scary and if you don't see me doing anything suspicious stop following me, I know you have cameras so next time stick to those and again you'll see me doing absolutely nothing but being confused on where something is and NOT getting help even though 6 people were following me through the store (all men of course) even scarier. Once I checked out all my items the greeter tried to stop me and say "I need to see your reciept" followed by me saying "did you not just watch me check out all my THREE items?" He said "yes I did but," and I said "but nothing, so no you don't, no you don't need to see my receipt especially because I'm being singled out and I know it because four other people walked out and you didn't even give them a single look because you were so focused on me. I placed a curbside order but was unable to pick it up by 8pm. When I called and asked if I could go in store and pick it up instead of doing curbside the store associate said no. She was very rude and dismissive of me. Not to mention this Walmart has awful produce, an abundance of registers but no cashiers, and is always out of something. Not sure why this Walmart has such bad reviews. I used to frequent it when I lived in the Walled Lake area and before the Novi Walmart opened ... now I usually go to that one, just because I'm usually in that area, when I'm in that area (if that makes sense ... I live in Troy now). We went here the other day and I had to buy some ingredients for a recipe, for a blog post. Most of the ingredients were easy to find, and the store was pretty quiet. I didn't ask for employee help but I think my mom did at some point, when she couldn't find something, and it was fine. This Walmart is usually pretty clean too and it has a large parking lot. Ordered an 8ft table online and the nearest location available with the said item is here in Walmart Pontiac trail. Surprised to see that they have this lockers where you can pick up your order from online shopping. Since ours is way bigger, somebody had to help us get the big heavy box ;-) poor customer service. Once they give you the item and you don't like it, they refer you to customer service to request for refund. No offer assistance to replace the item that was found damages upon pick up. Nobody offered to help you drop your stuff to the car so far the Novi Walmart is my favorite location. read more

I will NEVER do another online purchase at Walmart, and may never even shop there again. I ordered a 2-pack of CR2450 batteries for $5.47 (online price). Got notice the next morning they were ready for pickup. As instructed, I sent a message on their app before leaving home that I was on my way, a 15-minute drive. Arrived to find 20+ cars filling the pickup parking spots on the side of the building, and another 12+ waiting to get into parking spots. After waiting 20+ minutes and not seeing much movement, I tried calling the store. Tried just about every department, and no one answered the phone, not the pickup, not the operator, not the auto, not the human resources,..... Finally, got someone in the pharmacy department to answer the phone. Asked her to have the store manager go back to the pickup area because people were starting to get out of their cars and surround the employees because of the long wait time. Heard one woman say she had been there 1:15 minutes. Told the pharmacy lady that if the manager didn't get back there and get things moving, there was going to be a riot. I finally got a parking spot after 35 minutes, and then another 20 to finally get my small 2-pack of batteries. After waiting for almost an hour to accomplish what should have been a simple task, I decided to go into the store afterward to see what the "in store" price was. It was the SAME PRICE, and they were just hanging on the rack, available. I could have saved my self a lot of aggravation and time by not using the online ordering from Walmart and just purchasing in the store, if I happened to be in the area on other business. In fact, I could have saved even more time and aggravation if I wanted to pay $.50 more and order them from Amazon. I had placed an Amazon order for another item around 11:00 am, just after I had placed my Walmart order. The Amazon order was delivered to me at 3:00 pm THAT SAME DAY. The extra $.50 I would have had to pay to order the batteries from Amazon would have been more than offset by the cost of gas to drive to Walmart and wait an hour to pick up two lousy coin batteries. I purchased a Fortnite v bucks $31.99 gift card for my son. The cashier didn't put the gift card in my bag, I took my receipt to the Walmart customer service desk and explained the situation to the cashier there. She was short, and nasty telling me that when customers buy gift cards we don't put them in the bag, we leave them out for the customer to take. I advised her that she may have sat it there but I didn't notice because I am Christmas shopping, I had a LOT of bags to place in my grocery cart. She then said to leave my number and when security arrives she will have them review the camera. I was confused because why isn't security here ? At 11am, when the store is clearly open. So I stated I'll wait for security to review the camera. Of course that never happened, she the. Called a "Will" to the customer service desk, I explained the story agin to Will who the asked for my receipt and stated "I'll be right back I just have to verify this". Will was gone for five minutes and then came back and said you can redeem your vbucks with this number here on the receipt I do this all the time." I get home and tried to redeem the v bucks and of course it isn't working. I called the Walmart and no one was helpful. I wish the cashier would have asked if I wanted the gift card with me or in my bag. She did not, and I'm not bashing the cashier because she was super nice , and maybe was side tracked because we were talking and laughing together. Mistakes happened but now My son has no v bucks for Christmas and I have lost $32. Someone could have picked the card up or maybe it's back on the shelf... it'll probably be a blessing to someone else one day. However, I'll never shop at this Walmart location ever again. I usually stop here every other day after work. Not any more. I hope this isn't a typical Walmart. This place regularly mis-marks their pricing on things, so I decided to go to the service desk to get a partial refund on an item I bought. It was only a 22 cent difference, but I had time and wanted to see what they'd do to make things right. After waiting 15 minutes, the 1 person at the service desk got another worker to walk over to the bin of items to confirm they were mis-priced (another 10 minutes), then they had to call the manager from that dept. to come fix my problem (10 minutes). As I watched him comically tapping away at the cash register buttons - he must have hit keys about 200 times before he figured it out (another 5 minutes). That was 40 minutes I'll never get back, but hey, I got my 22 cents and I hope I taught them a lesson...probably not. read more

I have been at this location to shop more than a few times. I have always had a pleasant experience no matter what time of day I decide to come. The prices at walmart always seem to be lower than anyone else and using my walmart pay Is a breeze. I know that they will price match if you scan your receipt into the app which is super nice. Tried Pick-Up this past Monday and I'm sold! It's a free Walmart service. Will be picking up again this Tuesday. Kuncho is the absolute best! Everything we received was fresh, very few missing items, no dinged cans or soon-to-expired dates like their competitors. The produce was truly exceptional, above my very picky standards! Kuncho carefully loaded everything, combining cold with cold and pantry items with other pantry to greatly help with the at-home disinfecting procedure. He refused my tip - Walmart policy. Customer service is an area this store really needs to work on. I avoid Walmart in general and the Commerce store specifically, just on my experience with the staff. However, I am very pleased with the auto shop staff. I can rely on these folks to help me with basics such as oil changes and wipers, and they are reasonably courteous, much more so than cashiers and department staff. Then, just for a specific recent example, I attempted to call the auto shop today to ask about coming in, and instead I got the pharmacy and then the fitting rooms! What gives? read more
