The people are nice, but wow the pharmacy is REALLY bad I scheduled my flu shot. I spent 10 minutes filling in the lengthy form online. I showed up 5 minutes early, but since there was only one register open it took almost 15 minutes before I was waited on. Then it took almost 10 minutes to check in (it was embarrassing to hold up the line for that long!) as the clerk seemed to have to hit 500 key strokes. Finally, I was told to wait for my shot. That took smooth 10 minutes, so now I was almost half an hour past my appointment time before I got called back. Really? Your systems are so bad and processes so inefficient? I will never go there again to get a shot, even if it is free. Zero stars for how they run things! Again, the people were very nice, so I completely blame the management and the really bad computer systems! Do they want to go out of business? My prescriptions were transferred here after Rite Aid closed in the fall. It was a terrible experience in the beginning and hasn't improved. Medication is never in stock and typically takes 5-7 days to refill. Avg wait time when calling is 15 minutes +. The pharmacy isn't equipped to handle the volume of business it gets. read more

I came to this Walgreens for my COVID booster shot yesterday. I had booked an appointment online like a week before when it was announced that the bivalent booster shots were now available. I'm unsure if this Walgreens is understaffed or what. I arrived around 4:55pm for my 5pm shot. There were about five pharmacists - all unmasked, btw, except for one - attending to things behind the pharmacy counter, and only 1-2 people actually manning the counter and drive-in. There were two people before me, around 5:10pm I finally got up to the counter. After that, it only took a few minutes to get my vaccine. There was another man there getting his flu shot and he was surprised when he heard I was getting the COVID booster, because apparently he wanted it that day too and they told him they were out. Not sure if I was able to get it because I booked earlier online or what. They give you a $10 off coupon (off your next shopping trip) if you spend $1 or more, so I bought some M&Ms to get the coupon for next time - nice deal. Overall this is your average Walgreens, I'm just surprised like 1/5 of the pharmacy staff was masked - even the pharmacist who gave me my shot was unmasked. I'll admit I've been a bit lax lately in stores but I masked up yesterday in respect of the pharmacy staff ... seems like they weren't mandated to, though. read more

I am so sick of Walgreen's all together. For more than one month this location has had one issue or another, phone lines, computer and now Donna the pharmacist not showing up for work the pharmacy is closed. Medication that was filled can't be dispensed without a pharmacist and forget about refilling a prescription. I had to take my 96 yr old mother to emergency because I couldn't get her medication. Another pharmacy couldn't refill because it was already filled but we were unable to pick up I hope Donna burns in hell I have filled a complaint with the Michigan Board of Pharmacy against Donna and Walgreens. We have transferred all the prescriptions from my household to another pharmacy all together. I have filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General. For the record I have also contacted the Walgreens corporate office in IL and they didn't seem to be concerned at all. This is UNACCEPTABLE Hope Walgreens goes bankrupt, greedy money hungry billion dollar corporation that has no consideration for its customers. read more

Why when I walk in and smile, and I'm nice every time I go in there, and they're rude. I've not given up. I still after 50 + times going I've continued to be nice. But now I'm starting to feel like a real asshole because I have a business and if I did that once to somebody that came into my store, they would be writing about it the first time. I've been on this side of town for two years, taking care of my mother with dementia, so that's why I'm going to this Walgreens. But I am getting so fed up especially after today with the pharmacy rudeness. I don't know how this place can be in business . They may have the older generation coming there for a convenience. I understand people working and having bad days and I don't take that personally but when I've been going there this many times and spending that much money there and it's a constant thing there's a huge problem! When a pharmacy doesn't have a medication that the doctor called in and they say well sorry we don't know when it's gonna be here that could be life-threatening . Maybe they should call the doctors office and say listen we don't have this we don't know when we're gonna have it call another pharmacy up.. but no they don't want to help you. They're just rude.. And on top of that because I'm on the side of town I had my prescriptions sent to this Walgreens and I'll go to pick them up three days later and they still don't have them ready ! read more

Pharmacist Dr. Donna Spencer at this location went above and beyond for my family during an already extremely busy time at the pharmacy during the 2021 Holidays. After another Walgreens closed early due to staffing issues the day my dad had a covid-19 booster shot appointment, there were no other pharmacies in the area willing to squeeze him in the following days/weeks ahead. Being completely booked full of appointments, Dr. Donna Spencer took her time listening to the issues that occurred and graciously offered to vaccinate him between other appointments. Staff members are always courteous and helpful at this location. I've never had any problems - someone greets you as you enter and wishes you well as you leave, which is always nice! Pharmacy staff are also professional and work to solve any insurance issues etc. For folks saying they had a bad experience with pharmacy... a little patience goes a long way. ;) read more

I wanted to print some pics from my phone and immediately thought of Walgreens as I didn't want to deal with one of the big box stores. I loaded the Walgreens app onto my phone and it was super user friendly. I immediately received an email from the store notifying my that my prints would be ready in an hour. After a long day at work, I was kindly welcomed to the store by the cashier, little things like that mean something to me. He walked me over to the photo counter and gave me some time to review my prints before I paid for them. I wasn't expecting great quality, but I was pleasantly surprised! Avoid this pharmacy at all cost. They have no clue what they are doing. I have health insurance to pay for my prescription and the lady said I didn't. Instead of trying to take care of me while i'm sick she was being rude. I than called my health insurance right way after leaving and was told I do have coverage. Instead of the pharmacy calling and verifying I ended up paying for it out of pocket. You would think that a business establishment that makes money off of providing medicine, they would of took the time to call the insurance company and take care of the confusion. I called to complain and spoke to someone else and she was just as bad as the lady taking care of me in the window. This place is a joke if you need medicine go somewhere that cares for their customers. Very disappointed in Walgreens to hire this type of staff to take care of people who are in need of their help. worse service i have ever had. i went in there with a rain check for eggs at 8:10 on January 2, 2014. The manager was called to approve the rain check and when he came out he didn't even introduce himself or anything he just looked at me and said they couldn't accept the rain check because it was from Texas. I told him the rain check couldn't be from Texas cause i have never been, he replied with an I know. he then seemed to accuse me of forging the rain check. he did let me get 3 eggs, which is 7 eggs less then the rain check had said. he then left and i had to get his name, which is Gus from the cashier and she couldnt spell his last name either. i am not only upset but embarrassed because there been other costumers inside the store too.
