This has to be the worst customer service Walgreens has to offer. Don't bother to call unless you literally have an hour to wait on hold, they never answer the phone! I think they don't answer on purpose. How can I have one caller ahead of me for 45 minutes!? Turnover of techs seems like it is bi-weekly. No follow through when they say they will do something like calling a doctor to check on status. If Walgreens corporate actually cared about their patients, they would take this Novi location and took a real close look at the lack of work going on. I don't know how this Walgreens is still open. I went there years ago, and part of my medication was missing but I had already taken it home so I couldn't prove it was short, so I decided never to go there again. Not too long ago I needed to fill a prescription and forgot, so I went there. I remembered when I got home that I shouldn't have gone there so I counted my meds and came up short again. I went there for their soft drink sale only to find out I paid full price. When I went to correct this, he said that even though both soft drinks were on sale for the same price that they were different kinds, so the sale price wasn't valid. I've been shopping for groceries for fifty years and this is the only store that has this policy. This store does not deserve a star at all. read more

This pharmacy is not reliable. If you doctor calls in the prescription that does not mean it will be filled in the same day. Very slow service. Disorganized. It will take them some time to find your prescription once they have it. I wish I had not chosen this location. This is the first time of having any difficulty with a pharmacy. read more

Today is the day that I find a new pharmacy. I have been a customer for years. Today I decided to use the drive-through pharmacy to pick up three prescriptions. I pulled up and there were no other cars in line. Of course because I am at the window I can see the counter. There is one woman being waited on. I'm looking down at my phone but when I look up there's a different woman at the register. I don't say anything I just continue to wait. The automated system did not come on to say I'll be right with you. The white button to alert them you are waiting was missing. So I just waited and waited. I waited a good 15 minutes while the pharmacist talked with this one customer. I don't know what the issue was but whatever it was the pharmacist didn't have her prescription. She walked around looking for it and then began to review the woman's receipts. Meanwhile there's a car behind me he cut his car off. I finally knocked on the window; like hey you have another customer!!!!. She throws up her finger to say wait one moment. Then when I ask for my prescription she tells me only two are ready. I say to her you could've come to the window and said I will be right with you! She says I was already talking to her . My thought is clearly you are the only employee here and you have multiple customers. One customer can not monopolize all of your time. When she said my one was not ready I didn't try to make her produce it, call the doctor I just said I will come back tomorrow after speaking with my physician. A few hours go by and I say wait she said there was an issue with prior authorization. I realize maybeshe didn't know I was going to pay out of pocket. I called back just to see if that was the case they NEVER answered the phone. I waited 14 minutes. read more

This is the third time I've been to this pharmacy to find a homemade sign in the pharmacy drive through reading "No Pharmacist on Duty"! This is ridiculous! Wouldn't you know I needed my pain Rx and I'm out of luck! I called the corporate complaint number and after holding for 25 minutes, I was told a higher up member of management will contact me in 2-3 business days! Oh boy! read more

After going to this pharmacy for 6 months I have NEVER had a positive experience here (including waiting inside, the drive thru, & over the phone). The wait times are always over 30 minutes even if you are the only person there. The employees are unfriendly, uninformed, and inefficient. If my insurance accepted any other pharmacy I would be there in a minute. If you have not used this pharmacy please save yourself some misery and go some place else (literally anywhere else). read more

Longest wait time for a pharmacy I have ever seen in my life and reoccurring pharmacy pickup errors that do not get resolved

My prescription was sent to this Walgreens. It happened to be a medication that was recalled by the manufacturer. Two weeks after I started taking it I received, in the mail, a letter from corporate Walgreens about the recalled drug. I immediately checked for the lot numbers, but they had been removed. I spoke to the pharmacist in person who assured me that they had none of the recalled drugs, but upon inspection, it was noted that the important numbers had been torn off the bottle! Finally, the pharmacist agreed to give me a new bottle. The first thing I did was check the lot numbers! I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

No empathy, business as usual. Came to drop of a few prescriptions after our baby unexpectedly passed away at 36 weeks . Nobody gave a shit. They said ....."wait, the pharmacist is busy with flu shots ". I explained the situation and that we needed to be home but nobody cared , no response . Flu shots are what matter. Corporations are ruining healthcare and those that work for them that allow it are helping the machine . Thanks Walgreens . read more

We do all of our pharmacy here because of the drive thru convenience but every time I'm at the window I have to wait a very long time because customers that walk up inside are first priority even if they arrive after I do. This problem should be addressed and fixed. read more

Terrible System!!! The insurance company hired by my employer force us to go trough Walgreens to in theory get a better price. I really doubt they care about their customers. Every time I have to pickup my prescriptions there is an insurance issue, I have received very high bills from them from which after walking out of the Pharmacy you never get the feeling of your bill being fair or getting treated professionally. Always understaffed so it takes in average 1/2 hour just to pickup your prescription. In General the way they explain you your high bills it feels always shady and not right. read more

Worst experience. Dropped my prescription off in a Sunday night. They said it couldn't be filled that night but come back in the morning. Came back at 9:15 and the told me to come back an hour later. So I did and I still had to wait 15 mins in the drive through line for them to figure things out. read more

I went to their pharmacy to drop off a prescription and they were out of stock on this brand and called my doctor for a new prescription of a different brand. My doctor obliged and gave them a new prescription and the pharmacist informed me that they received it and they would have it ready for me the next day. I came in the next day and informed me that my prescription was not in the system and that I should call my doctor for a new prescription. Huh? It was after hours on a Friday and the doc wouldn't be in till the following Tuesday. So I suggested they call the person who was working there yesterday and they said they don't know who that person is. I thought to myself, how could you not know who is working for you? They said that nothing that they can do and that they were sorry. That may be bristled. I've never experience an incompetent manager who has no clue what's going on or who's working there. Fill your RX at your own risk. I suggest that you go elsewhere. read more

I got two cartons of the cigarettes, after a couple days, I check with my bank account, they charged me twice, I call and then bring the recipe back ,the manger ask me to get my bank statement, Ok,I show it in my phone and she wants me to print out , And said she got her computer everything balanced,ba ba ba.....the banks problem...ba ba ba...Which That means I lied! read more

Great place to go to get stuff for my family as we are fighting allergies. Props to the friendly staff and affordable prices.

This place constantly makes mistakes, they don't call or do the texting like they promise and the pharmacist is rude. CVS is no better, if not worse, I think it must be retail since these days people just don't care about doing a good job by providing customer service. read more

I'm always amazed how clean and tidy this place looks. I have been going there for years. If you see something in a magazine for makeup. I find Walgreens will get it first. That's the best part!! read more
