She takes the time to make sure she knows your skin history, your routine, your concerns and expectations for your appointment. I was a walk-in today and the lady at the front desk was super helpful she was able to get me in for an eyebrow wax and it was the best service I've had by far. I told her I have been trying to find someone that can do my brows right and this spot right here is the best. She asked me my skin history, skin care etc. before she started to make sure to use the right wax. She was able to get my eyebrows so even and nice I was so happy and very impressed. Everyone from the cashier to the eyebrow tech were very nice and caring. It was very relaxing in there and not very loud despite there was other people having their hair done. I got my first facial in years by Rebecca and it was amazing! My skin has been dry and feeling kind of dull, by the time I left it was glowing! I got the First Impression Facial, which included a facial, peel and skin care education. For $85, I think it was a great deal. Rebecca was really personable and knowledgeable, she let me know what she was doing every step of the way and why. I would highly recommend her and this salon. I am very picky about my eyebrows. I am also very loyal once I find a place. It was getting difficult to get to my usual eyebrow place and I did a lot of research and decided to try Freda. Well, I can say Freda is my new eyebrow person. She is THE best! I had an appointment the Saturday after salons first opened back up and she had just moved a couple spaces down the strip mall. Once you walk in, your temperature is taken and there is hand sanitizer. For having just moved, the place was spotless! Freda was very nice and knows eyebrows! Unfortunately I have to update my review from my previous one. It seems every other time I am here my eyebrows are perfect. But the other times they are too thin and look sparse unless I pencil them in. I have very little hair to begin with so losing too much makes a big difference. read more

I never write reviews, but I had to for my visit at Faces by Freda. As someone with sensitive skin, I'm always so weary of getting a facial. I'm prone to breakouts and redness, and I never want to irritate my skin. I went in to get a hydrafacial, and my skin absolutely adored it. The first days after my facial, my skin purged out all of my impurities, but after about 3 days my skin was absolutely glowing. Mariana is so knowledgeable about skin care and gave me amazing products. I've been using them for about 2 weeks and I feel a huge difference in my skin. Eyebrows...who knew it was an art!?! I found this place on a recommendation from the woman that cuts my hair. Funny part....she works at another salon with someone who does eyebrows. She said I couldn't go wrong with any of the ladies here, and she was right. My eyebrows were hosed when I started going here. I had a bad experience somewhere else, and my eyebrows paid the price. One was too far back from my nose and the other was closer to my nose and way too narrow. I needed someone to help me get them back into shape, and Mary and Freda did the job! Cost: around $27 for the first visit, and $22 for maintenance. It might sound a bit pricey, but for the quality of the work, I am willing to pay a bit more. I have been to the other side (cheap and fast) and that is why my eyebrows were jacked in the first place. Not everything that is cheap is good (think generic toilet paper)! These ladies know how to frame your face with eyebrows. They don't make them look like everyone else, cause let's be real: my face doesn't look like yours! They look at the natural arch of your eyebrows and the shape of your face and give you eyebrows that you are supposed to have! Not too thin, and not too thick. They fit your face and compliment your eyes. Yesterday was my fifth visit to them (going every 2-3 weeks to get my eyebrows back in shape), and they look great. Mary and Freda kept reassuring me it would take a little time, but if I left them alone, they could get them back to looking good and healthy. They also have a frequent punch card, so make sure to get it punched after each visit. On the last visit, I tried the seasonal facial and a glycolic peel with Nancy. Not only will I not go anywhere else for eyebrow maintenance, but Nancy has started me down a great path with my skin. Yesterday was peel #2, and I notice a difference already. Even my husband said my face had a glow about it last night. These ladies know what they are doing!! ONLY DOWN SIDE : you can't leave a tip on your credit card for their services. I have noticed that is a trend for services around here, but I don't always have cash. They also don't have an ATM on premises, so you have to remember to take cash. However, I have forgotten cash and told the ladies I would get them on the next round, and they were super sweet about it (and yes, I made up for it on the next visit) However, I have been back several times, so the cash thing hasn't deterred me. I went to Freda for the first time to get makeup done for a special event. I have been to other salons that do makeup only but this one was by far the best. From the moment I walked in the doors it felt like a special experience. I was warmly greeted and Freda took the time to figure out exactly what style I was looking for. She gave me make up style suggestions that would enhance my features the best. When she was finished I was beyond happy with her work! I will be back again! In addition, I purchased her line of eye shadow and lip stick (love the quality of the make up). Great job on my daughters eyebrows. this is expensive but safe because they know what they are doing.

Clean, quick, and stylish! Mary quickly designed my brows perfectly, no double dipping, and her wax was so gentle that I experienced the smallest amount of pain ever, even while my skin was at its most sensitive. 28$ for the first appt, and 23$ after. While it's more than my regular 5$ appt, I got perfect results with minimal pain and redness. Fantastic! Freda is absolutely AMAZING with eyebrows. I have dark, thick eyebrows that grow daily and she is one of the only people who can tame these bad boys (Mary is great too!! I have gone to her when Freda wasn't available.) I have also used makeup from Freda's personal line and let me tell you, it's defiantly my favorite lip liner and lipstick I have ever used and I am a makeup junkie. She also sells jewelry and I've purchased a beautiful necklace from there that I ALWAYS get compliments on. Faces by Freda is clean and staff is super friendly. So glad I found this place! I was in town visiting my parents and needed an eyebrow wax. I walked in and Nancy was able to help me right away. She asked about my skin care, as I have struggled with acne for years and have been seeing a esthetician in Scottsdale, Arizona where I live. Nancy told me to come back later in the day for a free facial and peel and I was more than pleased with her willingness to go above and beyond and help. I've been going to Nancy for my eyebrow waxing needs for a few years now. They always look spectacular, so much so that I've had random strangers comment on how nice they look. I just wish they hadn't raised their prices. It used to be $15, which I thought was very reasonable, now its $20. If you include tip at $20/session the price starts to creep up there. But, my eyebrows do look great when I walk out, so I justify the price. read more
