For starters, she ran 15 minutes behind with her previous client and did not acknowledge or apologize for the delay when she began. Brows: There was no consultation for my brow wax---she just started waxing and went wayyy overboard. I felt the entire tail of my left brow get waxed off and she immediately said "I'll be right back." She left the suite and when she came back she started filling in my brows with pencil for several minutes. It wasn't until I got home and washed the pencil off before bed that I saw how truly HORRIFIC my brows looked. Uneven, unshaped, and just as I thought, my tail is missing. To make matters worse as she's filling them in she says to me "have you ever noticed your left brow is a lot thinner than your right?" No, I have never noticed that and no brow artist has ever told me that either. She said that because she knew what she did. Upper lip wax: she did FOUR passes on each area and there were still random hairs left. It should not have taken all that! It's like she couldn't get the hair off. She went over the same area wayyyy to many times and now my face is raw with bumps Upper leg wax: Miserable and painful. Soooo much grabbing and pinching because she could not get the wax to pull off. At one point she even said "I'm sorry, it's not you.." Her technique made absolutely no sense and I left with so much wax left on me that's still there after a shower.

No accidents happened like cutting the nails or dead skin. My mom is diabetic and it was very important to know that the male nail technician was very careful. The glycolic chemical peel only tingled a bit on my chest. Didn't feel any tingling on my face at all. Sam is nice, she was able to fit me in last minute. She had to tend to customers in between, but she made sure I was okay. Calming music in the background during my facial. My face feels really nice and clean. The massage was the best part for me. It's a bit expensive, but the facial and massage was good. My husband was sniffing me when I met up with him after my appointment, he said he could smell the mothballs on my coat and everywhere. First the essential oils placed under my face gave me quite a migraine. I have a herniated disc in my neck which I acknowledge that sometimes that could be an issue but for me this has never been a problem during massages. For some reason she placed several, and I mean several, hot towels on my neck which was immediately pretty painful as this was heavy to be placed with heat on a herniated disc, no matter how healed. Then she quite literally covered me in lotion, like a ridiculous amount where I couldn't even get dressed, barely touched me and ran out of the room, almost before I could even ask her for a towel (I was literally drenched in lotion) and before the session was supposed to be over. So I was left in more pain plus a migraine with a shortened session and covered in lotion, and I did notice that she didn't greet me afterwards to offer me water and make sure I'm doing good like they usually do here. This was all very strange and bizarre, but I assumed maybe this had to do with inexperience and wanted to leave feedback as to why this wasn't the best experience, especially since this is a luxury service that wasn't cheap. The owner called me the next day, and she was genuinely one of the most hostile and unpleasant people I had ever talked to. I am not a confrontational person, and I do think I was being reasonable in leaving feedback. She called me and told me that there is absolutely no way that any of this happened, and that she "welcomes me to not return". I told her that this was unfortunate to hear because I had such positive experiences in the past there, to which she told me I didn't go there enough times to have that much of an opinion. She kept telling me that I am more than welcome to not return, and at this point I wasn't going to but I just wanted her to tell me directly that she was banning me from returning for having a negative experience. She was avoiding saying explicitly that I could not return, but she kept insisting I was welcome to go elsewhere. I told her I would probably leave a review of the situation, to which she said "well that's not very nice of you". I told her it's not very nice to ban me for expressing concerns with my session. She hung up the phone abruptly, and the next day another staff member called and offered to reschedule me with someone else. I politely declined. I also want to mention that the ramp to get in the door is extremely inaccessible, I am a wheelchair user and it's borderline hazardous the way it is oriented. If I am to open the door, I have to be on the ramp which is difficult, or the door will push me down the stairs. If you use a mobility aid or have chronic pain I would not recommend, not because of the staff but 100% because of the owner.
