This Walmart location has a huge Broncos section with tons of really cool Broncos merchandise! I was talking with one of the employees and they mentioned that the selection is especially good right now because the Dove Valley team store is still under construction. If you're a Broncos fan, it's definitely worth checking out. The employees I've encountered have also been very friendly and helpful, which is always a plus at a busy Walmart. The only downside is that the area can feel a little sketchy at times. There have been some recent shootings in the area, and both of the last two times I've visited, I noticed Arapahoe County Sheriff's deputies there. That said, I've always felt the employees were friendly and were doing their best to provide a good shopping experience. I usually don't have high expectations from Walmart just because well it's walmart. We have a love and hate relationship. Most of the time it's a bearable experience. This location however was just god awful. from the horrendous customer service to the cluster of pallets thinning the aisles. Upon arrival it quickly became apparent the employees prioritize their cell phones and personal conversations amongst each other. There were several employees tapping away at their screens and talking about their plans after work. You have to really go out of your way to get their attention in order to get help. At the self checkouts there were 3 female employees talking amongst themselves about their personal lives and plans. At the same time two of them were busy tapping away on their phone screens as they conversed. I tried getting a receipt from the machine and it immediately flagged me with the an associate was on the way on the screen. I stood at the checkout out for a good while waiting for someone to come before I got fed up and decided to approach the employees. They appeared irritated that I interrupted their intimate personal conversation to ask for help. The employee realized the machine was out of receipt paper but before changing out the roll there was a message on the screen for me the customer to rate my shopping experience. She went ahead and tapped the 5 stars on the screen for herself. I was appalled she had the audacity to do it on my behalf. I was like excuse me for such stellar service. After she got the machine running again she made it seem like I seriously inconvenienced her by making her work. I had another separate transaction I had to do so at the end of the second one I made sure to tap the 1 star because of how rude the staff was. I probably won't be returning. read more

Terrible. It all started after I reviewed my service order. All the services supposedly performed were in fact, not performed. Vacuumed? Nope. Tire pressures 35psi x4? Nope, not even close. So after I saw that, I inspected the oil filter they installed. My receipt shows one brand and part# and the one they installed is completely different. Then I checked that filter on Wal Mart's website for compatibility and it says, NOPE, NOT COMPATIBLE. Then I cross referenced this part on other manufacturer's websites and the cross compatible filters are also not compatible with my vehicle. The filter listed on my receipt (see photo) I paid for was the correct filter but they didn't install that one for whatever reason. It's just terrible and I would advise anyone needing an oil change or any auto repair to STAY AWAY! The icing on the cake was that the technician didn't bother to put down a paper liner on my floor mat and tracked his oily footprints all over the mat forcing me to spend my time scrubbing it clean with soap and a brush. Lovely. As far as the price? The price is way too high if I have to go to a proper mechanic in order to have the correct service performed, effectively paying twice for a single oil change. Mirian an African American cashier was extremely rude to my family & to other employees. An older employee has already arranged leaving early for a doctor's appointment. Mirian chose to ask him where it was, what time, and so on. He wasn't near her. Mirian chose to humiliate him. She told him he had to clock out, and clock back in at 9:00 am. It wasn't even 8:00am. I totally agree with recent reviews about produce being spoiled as the last two times we've shopped here our produce has spoiled after only several days, including having to throw out most of a sealed bag of apples. Second, I agree percent with Brady, if you don't speak Spanish you're out of luck here. Order pickers not only are rude as hell but will literally run you over with carts, or stop dead in their tracks right in front of you. Walmart, do you not hire English speaking employees anymore? My wife is disabled. It is beyond disrespectful for able bodied Walmart employees to decide to go into the handicap bathroom and tie up the handicap bathroom stalls because they want to 'take a break' in the handicap bathroom and not allow people in a wheelchair to use the restroom. Instead they have to ensure the humiliation of waiting for them to come out. The handicapped bathrooms are for the handicapped, not the employees trying to escape their jobs. Walmart management. I went to this Walmart yesterday and bought 3 cucumbers and alfredo sauce. I get home and boil my pasta to use the alfredo sauce, just to open the jar and realize it is ALREADY OPENED and the inside alfredo is ROTTED. I bought THREE cucumbers and I bring one as my lunch to work, and as I take out the cucumber to wash it before eating, the cucumber starts DECOMPOSING in my hands and liquid is OOZING out of the cucumber. WTF I just bought this yesterday. I have to manually drive to a Walmart to just get a refund, which is NOT worth the hassle, because I am just here for an internship and have NO CAR. I visited this store yesterday. In the grocery area, I had a woman try to get me to purchase a cart full of groceries "for her children" and she wouldn't take no for an answer. I left the grocery area to avoid this person. At the self-checkout register, everything double scanned. I would scan an item, and it hit my receipt twice so I had to wait for someone to help remove the extra charges. Two of the items were 40% higher than what they show on the shelves. It wasn't worth standing in the long line during at the customer service desk to fix it. I'm never going back to this store. read more

I don't normally shop at Walmart because there wasn't a close one to where I was previously living , nor is there one where I currently live. However, I was running errands with my bestie and we stopped in. It's a super center and is well laid out, stocked and clean. Lots a parking too. I was able to buy fabric to make more face masks. Not a lot of shoppers during my visit and at times we were the only ones in the isles. It looked like the fall clothes were out. Looked similar to Forever 21 styles. Haven't been clothes shopping for awhile due to shut downs. They had a Halloween section set up. They have an open nail salon too. Easy self check out. I'd shop here again. read more

I bought a DVD from Walmart in Centennial. A couple days later, I opened the DVD to play it and the disk was broken. I brought it back to Walmart to exchange it and the lady said I can't exchange it because it's not in its original packaging. How would you know it's broken if you don't open it ? I asked to see the manager and she told me she is the manager. Then she said it's a copyright issue. What ? I just left at that point. This is the dumbest "policy" I've ever heard of. This place does not have any employees that are certified forklift use. The level of workers are very low too. The worker even try to avoid talking to me, when I need to ask for someone to be call for the Garden center. Last time I need to get top soil, I had to pull arm and leg to get someone to help me bring dirt down from the shelving. I had to keep coming back to Walmart with the trailer to see if they are going to put the dirt down for I can take it. They would not even set up a time when they will put the pallet down for I don't have to keep coming back to see if they can put it down. Why do I have to provided so much emotional effort? Ps They still have not cleaned up after the Garden Center after the last time I came. In the competition, obviously a company-wide competition, to give the absolute worst service you can possibly provide, we have a gold medal contender here. Now, even when their typical service is completely lousy, this store thinks the right thing to do is to have a single cashier on and make everyone else go through self-service. Better yet - you can't use cash in self-service. The single register at the tobacco lane is the only one you can use cash at. So, if you've got a bunch of free time and feel like a 40 minute wait in line, this is the store for you. Walmart absolutely sucks and it's like they're in a race to get worse. Update: Almost 5 months into the Pandemic and they do not enforce a mask wearing policy. I have been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that management at this store would take this situation seriously, but today was the last straw. I was shopping at this Walmart today and I still saw a lot of customers not wearing masks. No workers stopped them to ask them to cover up. Even though the "law" in this area doesn't mandate masks, Walmart should care enough to protect all its customers. They used to enforce mask wearing at this store in March/April, but then they just stopped. And some that work there, who do have to wear masks, wear them incorrectly. Today I saw a few associates wearing the mask below their nose, and one associate had his mask hanging around his neck talking to another associate. I don't love wearing masks, but I do it out of respect, to protect others from myself. I'm not shopping at this Walmart anymore, unless they change their policy. I don't feel safe there. Original review: It's a decent Walmart, and you get what you expect from any Walmart. Very convenient location for me. Good selection of items, one of the nicest Walmart's I've been to, decent prices. No one is around to help you if you need it (but I've been there so much I pretty much know where everything is - I know, scary). I also like the grocery pick up service that they offer, no extra cost for them to shop for you, and then all you have to do is drive around to the side of the building and they put the groceries in the trunk for you. Very convenient. I don't like that they never seem to have very many regular check-out lanes open at any given time. Over the past few years they've converted nearly everything to "check out yourself" lanes. These are fine for a few itemsbut my preference for a regular shopping is for a store worker to check the groceries out for you. And every time you use the "do it yourself" scanners, they always say you scanned something wrong/messed up, and then you have to wait for a store worker to come over put in a code to fix it. Why don't they just open more lanes? It's like they're trying to skimp on customer service. The other thing that bothers me is that they treat the place like Sam's Club sometimes. There've been a few times where I'm walking out with a handful of groceries I just purchased (in bags), and the "greeter" is staring at me as if they are analyzing if I'm stealing something. They have actually also stopped me and demanded to see my receipt, especially when I have something That won't fit in a bag, like dog food or a storage container. So annoying, I spent so much money at their store and here they are treating me like a thief. It really annoys me. At Sam's Club or Costco, I understand that part of shopping there is them checking my receipt, but not here. That is what takes two stars away from review. read more

I called ahead and got a return pre-approved for an item I purchased for my kids that wasn't quite what it said it was. I called a few days ahead of time because it had been over the amount of time that return is typically accept it. I have a hell of a good reason for not getting it back to then in time though and from my understanding it is usually up to the manager on duty whether they will or won't accept a return. The reason I couldn't make it any sooner is because I had cancer. I was busy trying to beat the disease. Prior to the diagnosis there was Covid which having a husband on oxygen full time. I chose not to take the risk on my husbands life and waited until my cancer went into remission and I felt safer with Covid. But now the Manager on duty won't accept my return. Now I know it's not due to me having a lot of returns because I haven't ever returned anything at any Walmart. So I just want to say thank you for hearing me out and understanding Mrs. manager that sometimes life happens and it's a wiser choice to take care of yourself and your health than it is to make it in time for a return. I only came here to scope out the plants section on this visit. I often forget about this location as it's a bit off the beaten path. They had several lilacs that I could not find elsewhere so this made me happy. They were 1/2 gallon ones but it made me happy I could #1 find them and #2 pay a much more reasonable price. They come with a year guarantee so they have as much of a chance as any other store or nursery. They look well cared for and I was actually surprised at the decent selection of plans and flowers this location has. I also grabbed a few quick connects for my hoses outside. read more
