The Grocery Delivery Service is absolutely the very worst I've encountered! From items received that were not ordered to missing (not out of stock) items that were ordered. Frozen foods were slightly defrosted to completely defrosted. The worst is orders not delivered. This store must be losing quite a bit of money in issuing refunds. The delivery service really needs to be reviewed and improved. My last two orders were delivered to the doors below. Two in a row is hard to accept. These are not my Apartment's door; nor are they in my hallway! read more

I've always found the employees in customer service to be very nice and helpful. Holidays are very busy in this area. But that's expected. I have a lot of loyalty to this store since they were there for all of us during covid. I don't know what I would have done for food. I was taking care of my 102 year old mom and needed to buy food and supplies for her. I'm grateful for stores like this one. read more

i go to this Walmart location 2 or 3 times a week and i've always found a good selection and peoples are nice too but this Wednesday i around 9pm i have grab something quickly i went for couple things and they were less than 15 i believe because the rest of the stuff beside i need was just random here and there i pic so i was prety sure not more than 15 items so i was on line for self-check line, and there were white lady working saw my cart and said oh you have more than 15 items in your cart now you have to wait until i call you to the registered she didn't even count the items and make me to stand and letting other people to go just because she assume i have more that 15 items i had tears in eyes and i left the line without saying anything and went the other side of store registered because i was an hurry , when i scan my items they were 14 items not even 15. That lady was so rude and very mean clearly rases which is very bad to supper market like this, she didn't count my items and just because of i am Asian she did to me this. read more

FIRE HAZARD. It states above the door "If this building has any occupants doors must remain open". Well they were not open and when I pulled them they did not open. This Walmart is massive. It could be just me, but I felt like this store was set up differently from many of the other Walmarts I've been to. The aisle is very spacious. Two individuals can wall pass each other and not even touch. They were also very organized for being a superstore. In addition, they also had so many items that I have never seen at my Walmart. Not sure why this Walmart has such a low ratings on Yelp! I've been to plenty of other stores and this Walmart is definitely a standout for good reasons. The aisles were wide making it easy to browse the store. They had a many products and varieties in products that I have not seen at other stores. I never had a problem in the store matter of fact I went to 3 Burlington's and walked out with a few items in all three the burlington's had no shorts at all I walked in walmart and I bought two pair of shorts but they had a decent about of them. This Wal-Mart is similar to many other Wal-Mart's located throughout the US. I went in around 8:30 pm and it wasn't overly crowded. There were a few isles being restocked at the time but I had no issues working around the employees. I only went in for a few items and they had everything I wanted in stock. Someone posted that the people of Wal-Mart are creepy. I went in just to see what they were referring to and was surprised to find all normal people shopping around. The primary group I actually saw were families. The restrooms were clean, there is self checkout, and they allow Wal-Mart pay from the app (which is super convenient). read more

I like Walmart but this one associate (SueT) in the pharmacy department is to much. It's like she always have attitude never pleasant when she interacts with customers. It's like the customers are inconveniencing her to do her profession if your unhappy working in this store find another job. Its Sunday at noon. Wheres the rushing frenzy of people? Where I live you enter Walmart on Sunday at your own risk. I didnt see many people at all in here today, however a lot of products were missing from the shelves. Also our Walmart clogs up the aisles with Gaylord of crap you have to maneuver around but here They didnt have a lot of that going on. Perhaps there were no people inside due to fact no one can find it. This town has businesses and retail back off the road with a whole forest in Front of them. Just what you would expect from a large box store, low prices, almost no sales help to be found, and check out is very inefficient. Seems like they have 30 cash register lanes but only one or two are open at a time. Most times I do self check out which sort of bothers me as I feel I am doing someone else's job... Lately I have been ordering online and picking up the items in customer service, this is a very smooth and quick process. They seem to be out of stock on many items, I doubt if they are going out of business, probably just poorly managed. But you would think the whole concept is efficiency leads to profitability, not here LOL. read more

I truely hate to complain..but I needed help getting temporary Kiss nails for your hands..They are under lock and key and you need to find someone that can help..the whole time I heard employees complainging about how they were treated nad their dissafatication about how they were treated..I did not need to hear this at 7AM..a person came a few minutes later..complained that I was asking too much..when I got what I needed walked away and yelled THANK YOU!!..very obnoxious!!..and muttered something to another co-worker..not alll employees are rude like this in this store..but it only takes 1 not to want to come back..either pay your employees more money..or retrain them You need to take al lesson from Trader Joe's... there employees are very happy..and P.S. Worst experience ever. Came to Walmart tonight to pick up a few things I needed for Christmas. After spending an hour in the store picking everything out, including electronics that were sent to register 15 (a $4 phone screen protector that apparently I couldn't bring to the register myself), I finally stood in line ready to checkout. While in line, the person in front of me dropped a full gallon of milk which exploded EVERYWHERE. The cashier continued ringing up the customer, ignoring the fact that I was covered in milk, INCLUDING my $200 suede boots. Not to mention, every item that was in my cart was splattered with milk. After screaming for a bag to put the carton in that was still spewing milk, another CUSTOMER ran to me with a bag as I stood there holding it. The cashier finally came over with a bag, well after the whole gallon was emptied onto the floor, myself, and my belongings. I proceeded to dry my items on my pant leg, as some things were the last on the shelf and I needed them. Not one person even offered me a paper towel. After going through all of this trouble to the register I HAD to stand on, they made me checkout in a different line and I never even got my screen protector. The girl who came to clean up the spill was absolutely NASTY, claiming my shoes were unimportant at the time. I will now be going to a dry cleaner tomorrow to try and remove the stains, which is not going to be cheap as they are soaking wet. Not to mention, the customer that dropped the milk didn't even apologize or help to clean up his OWN mess. As far as I have to travel, I will never return to this Walmart. I used to make 4-5 trips a week but I'll be going to target from now on. The customer service here is absolutely atrocious. read more

Would be 3.5 stars for this update... I went here yesterday with my relatives since they needed some essentials. When I was kid and visited my relatives in the area, we've always stopped by this location (which wasn't "Super" at that time) just solely for the purpose of killing the time, and grabbing something only if it was necessary. This is the first location that I've ever visited for a Super Wal*Mart. The exterior and interior of the remodeled building looked modern and clean. You still need to deposit a quarter just to get a cart, though. When I walked in, I was actually surprised in a more positive way. The long line that stretched toward the center of the store entrance at customer service during the last time I was here wasn't there anymore. In fact, customer service was a little better than my previous experience here. When I asked for assistance in finding an item, no issue arose at all. The garden center was a lot nicer and bigger than the Watchung location. The shelves for garden decor and plant essentials there were organized. The area for flowers (which was outside) looked nice. The staff there were nice enough to explain which flower was which, and the price for it too (for the ones that weren't clearly labeled). Regarding the other areas of the store, they started to carry some of what was available up North, which was good. Unfortunately, some of the shelves were a bit messy, but if you look closely in that mess, you could find what you're looking for. Most of the prices were competitive, but that depended on what you were trying to get. When I walked into the store, I saw a case of Pringles on the left side of me, with a price tag on top. The price was five cents cheaper than the locations up North. Very interesting. The grocery (or "market") area of the store looked really nice. The shelves, for the most part, were organized. The produce section looked all right, as well as the deli area. The bakery area looked really good. Overall, the store serves it's purpose. It's located right off of NJ-88 and NJ-70 (via Jack Martin Blvd.). The parking area is big, but be patient when finding a spot, especially on the weekends. Happy Shopping. read more

I honestly can't stand walking into this Wal-Mart (frankly, I can't stand the company in general, but every now and then I'll need something at a late hour, and this is the only place open nearby). On the outside, it's your typical Walmart, complete with gigantic parking lot filled with the area's worst drivers. Once you walk through those sliding doors however, things quickly go downhill. First off, it might just be me, but this place just feels dirty, like they don't sweep it too often / too well, and have let the place fall into a slight disrepair. A walk by the TV and Electronics department solidifies this, as all the tvs are out of sync with each other, causing a really annoying jumble of delayed advertisements. As another reviewer had said, for whatever reason, this Walmart seems to attract some of the trashiest people from the nearby areas, which doesn't help matters much (although it can sometimes be hilarious to watch). Secondly, I'll never understand why people always say how walmart is the best in terms of selection and prices, because in this location I've found neither to be true, except during some sales. The same or better prices can often be find elsewhere in the area. Once again, personal opinion here... but this place just feels poorly laid out as well, and I always end up wandering around for 25 minutes trying to find what I'm looking for.. although that might be intentional, so they can get people to 'discover' more products, etc. Finally, and the single most important reason I can't stand going here? Cashiers. They need to either train everybody in the store on the registers, or hire about 10 more people, because there has not been a single time I've gone here that the lines at the registers haven't been obnoxiously long and slow moving. Often times, there's only 2-3 lanes open during peak hours, causing massive lines, and the employees on the registers are VERY casually scanning items, making a simple transaction take longer than it should. This never happens to me at places like Target, where they'll call more people to the front if the lines start to back up. Unless it's an absolute emergency and I *need* something after 10PM, I likely will not be going here again. read more

I hate going into this Wal-mart!! The out of stock items is incredible!! Particularly the pharmacy area! I go in for a few items and they are consistently out of the same items?? Now I do not understand how? I managed Michaels Arts and Crafts for years and I would have been fired a long time ago!! What happened to auto-replenish?? Doesn't anyone check the aisle and manually place the order?? It seems ridiculous to me to always see empty areas of products!! My item I look for is the Equate sleep aid 365 tablets. Quite frankly the moment something else opens up, I'll be gone! You guys have such an opportunity in this Walmart to make good sales numbers, but not if the store is always out of stock! Customer service is nonexistent. I usually ask a fellow shopper to help me lift things into my cart. Like cat litter and food, or cases of bottled water. It's so bad that one day I had paged 3 times for someone to help out by getting a few inexpensive live fish for my aquarium. Now I've seen it done many times in PetCo so I knew what to do? I got the water in the container and hung it on the side of the aquarium. (Water must come from tank where the fish I like swim) I found the net and retrieved my fish. I labeled the bag with quantity and SKU number. I transferred the fish from bin to bag and repeated this scenario with some different fish. I even rang up my own sale on self service!! Thankfully there is this service available because the register lines are ALWAYS, ALWAYS backed up! Again, I don't understand why everytime I go there, the lines are ridiculous!! I already stated I managed Michaels and I would have been fired a long time ago for this! Lastly the rudeness of the cashiers is outstanding! Yelling down the line to get something. This Walmart is just ok. The real issue is that every time I go in over weeks of time certain non-food items are not replenished or restocked. Since there are not other Walmarts in the nearby area you are forced to go somewhere else. The department managers should make sure once certain sizes or specific item numbers are low or gone they should be on order. Other than that it is typical Walmart. You must service yourself and be in no need of any help as it is difficult to find employees except at checkout. Lines are typical and help is minimal. I was walking out of Walmart with torn ligaments in my ankle wearing an air boot and I was stopped and asked for my receipt when the woman just watched me check out from the register next to where she was standing . I asked why are you asking for my receipt when clearly she could see I was in pain and said you have something that is not bagged. I said you just watched me check out and at the same time another person walked out with half a cart not bagged. I think Walmart for the size company they are can have paid stickers to put on stuff not in bags but the manager said we can't get them Walmart said NO .... I think this is a joke that they pick and choose who they want to stop especially when you just watched me check out .
