Poor service and rudeness team members- no offer to help with a carry out and would not allow cart to leave store to help carry the item

In an age where some boutiques won't even let you in the front door if you have more than one percent body fat, I find it absolutely hilarious that this overstock "past season" clothing store, specializing in XX and XXX sizing configures their racks and aisles to only accommodate the stray Olympic gymnast. Even for a svelte consumer the aisles and clothing are packed so tightly that even that very smart. poly-rayon "Ralph Lawrence" lime green polo you've been Jonesing for is hardly worth the excavation needed to pry it off the rack. This Burlington Store is off the beaten path in Brick NJ on Brick Blvd. It is a one story store tucked into a small strip mall. (There is another in Brick Plaza off 70. ) This store is organized and easy to shop. Right now there are lots of gift tables at front so it makes grabbing gifts, paying quick and getting out of there easy. There is a good selection of items that you never knew you needed till you see them. This place is going downhill. I don't like any of their clothing anymore. The shoes are barely stocked. The coats are almost down to nothing. The pictures are cheap looking. Sharon in the clothing department needs to be terminated immediately. She is the RUDEST sales associate I've ever met. Not only was she swearing out loud around children, and customers about how messy the store was (that's her job) but she wouldn't answer my question about where a particular men's item was.. she mumbled to herself very rude things about the customers and myself around her. Please Burlington, FIRE HER ASAP! Your store is amazing, & I want to pick you over online shopping but she's really making it hard, also I am NOT the first one to make a complaint.. that I know. This is a pretty large store with some rock bottom prices. Went looking for a car coat here and they had prices that were unbelievable. We're talking Laurens for about 150, Calvin Klein for about 100. To me it seemed like the best place to go with some great deals. read more

This place on gone downhill over the past few years. Went in for a suit today (9/21) and there were suits on the ground, took me a few minutes to even find anyone working there, and was finally told that no one is working the suit section, so I should come back on another day. Ended up at Men's Warehouse. where I paid more, but also had the professional customer service and it was well worth it. read more

Just experienced this place for the first time. I will never go back EVER again. Not even with Monopoly money. Not only was I completely ignored by some miserable woman working the cashier position. She seemed confused and annoyed when I ask her for her help in "suits" not "shoes" after I told her three times. Waited for over 10 minutes and I finally gave up after someone didn't even come. Was looking to save a couple dollars but I'd rather pay extra for good service and people who hate their lives. Worst experience I recommend either Men's warehouse, regular tuxedo places etc. never been so disappointed. read more

No stars if I could! Good prices, but 98% of the store has the racks unorganized, and the display looks more like a goodwill. Not that there is anything wrong with goodwill or needing to use the service, but for an actual clothing store, it is ATROCIOUS. Now, for anyone with doubts, I used to work there, so let me just tell you how management (or lack there of) works. They harass you. They would change the schedule all the time without notification, and then yell at you for not showing up because you originally had off on that day. My second day working there, one girl told me to put a shirt on a wrong rack, with the manager standing there, and then he called me into his office, yelled at me, and said i was lying about what happened. My first day on the clock, they put me on the register for 2 hours, then didn't have me on the schedule for another 6 days, and when i came in, they threw me on the floor, into one of the biggest and craziest departments, told me to figure out what to do by myself, and then proceeded to tell me that the department must be "too overwhelming" for me. The day I put in my two weeks notice, I went in kindly and professionally, told the assistant manager, who then proceeded to roll her eyes, huff into the managers office, and then told me not to come in for any of my shifts anymore. My friend who also worked there asked to take off one of her scheduled days because her grandfather suddenly passed, and they demanded to see an obituary. Being as her family did not want to have an obituary printed, she explained this to the manager, who fired her on the spot. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU DO BUSINESS WITH. read more
