Diane & Company - Buyer Beware!!

I wish I could give Diane & Co. more than five stars. For over 14 years, Diane, Kim, and Chrissy…read morehave been the secret behind every special occasion for me and my three daughters. What sets this shop apart is their sheer expertise. This isn't the kind of place where you just pull things off a rack yourself; it's a personal boutique experience where you put your trust in the experts. I can't count the number of times I've walked in with one idea in mind, let them "do their thing," and walked out with a dress more stunning than I ever could have imagined. They have an intuitive sense for style, body type, and fit that is second to none. As a fuller figured woman that lacks confidence, they have never let me down! From the initial selections to the final fitting, they ensure everything is absolute perfection. Thank you, Diane, Kim, and Chrissy, for over a decade of making us feel beautiful and confident. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Prior to my appointment, I even contacted the designer in California and was told that Diane & Co should at least have fabric swatches available if I decided to order through them. When I arrived for my appointment, there was already an uncomfortable situation unfolding in the store involving another customer and a disputed sale. While I chose to overlook that and proceed with my appointment, the overall experience only declined from there. The owner greeted me abruptly and, after I showed her an inspiration photo, immediately told me that a ball gown "would not look good" on me--an unnecessary and unprofessional comment. I then worked with a sales associate, who informed me that the dress I was looking for had just been sold. She proceeded to bring out two heavy, winter-style gowns that were completely inconsistent with what I had described (a formal summer garden wedding) and in a size (16) that did not match mine (4). Despite being told the store carries thousands of dresses, I was ultimately told there was nothing suitable for me. Given my budget of up to $3,000, this was both surprising and disappointing. Having worked in the retail and service industry myself, I can honestly say this was one of the most discouraging and unprofessional shopping experiences I've had. I left feeling dismissed rather than assisted. I ended up going to Emily's Boutique, where the experience could not have been more different--welcoming, attentive, and ultimately successful, as I found the perfect gown. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Diane & Company to others looking for a positive, customer-focused shopping experience.

Sure the anchors have changed in multiples as Sears evaporated before Nordstrom and Jeans Country surrendered without a shot to Old Navy but the hub and spoke deficit spending habitrail configuration remains intact requiring a frequent pitstop at the "you are here" navigational kiosks. It's absolutely pointless to tell anyone to meet you at the nondescript Aldo or Aerie since I have no idea what those stores are. Maybe I'll just have them follow the vapor trail to Perfumania. Stores change so often and the layout is so disorienting that it feels almost casino-like in the absence of night versus day. Every once in awhile I check in just to take the temperature of brick and mortar commerce but honestly, it's never been the same since Swiss Colony and Spencer Gifts took a powder. Four stars for the nostalgia... now where the hell did I park that Lumina...

The representative indicated she would notify housekeeping and in about 30 minutes wipes were replaced. I would urge management to pay more attention to this high risk area with so many small children and their parents. It's the parents who are spending money at the mall so please be more respectful.

You will never find a store, like Primark where they sell very trendy sneakers for just 11 dollars! Primark has anything from 60 cent flip flops to a bed sheet set! I really enjoyed the experience until Primark started introducing changes to their locations. For the past year I start noticing a pattern when Primark started downsizing their stores, not just here in Freehold, as well as King of Prussia. Ever since that change Primark experience have changed. There is less stock on the floor now and it is a lot more packed with longer lines for customer service. They used to have a separate counter for just returns and exchanges which helped many people to avoid big crowds and now it's no longer there. The men section became very small, with barely any new stock for months. It is truly not the same experience anymore. It would have been great If central jersey Primark as well as King of Prussia locations never been downsized. Thank you for reading this and I hope you find this helpful.

Think of the crumbling Sears department store chain, take one of their vacated stores and fill it with cheap disposable clothing and you have the essence of Primark. The dated retail monstrosity of Freehold Raceway Mall has never been a personal favorite but the absolute dishevelment inside Primark makes the rest of the place feel like Rodeo Drive. Shelves... why bother... just dig through the threadbare rags on the floor. Hey, there's a really nifty polyester sport coat I can wear to my next arraignment. I saw it first clown, give it back. So, you wanna play rough... You get the picture. Just having the jacket on for two minutes compelled other shoppers to spontaneously give me money. Why bother with a tin cup. I never thought that any retailer could be worse than Sears but Primark certainly has aspirations to that fetid crown. Two polyester stars.

With the wedding only 2 weeks away we had no choice but to cancel the order and get out money back. Once we got to the quails in freehold, they had no idea what was going on and couldn't off another solution So at that point we just got our money back. Usually, three for one means that you pay for the highest priced suit and the two others are free. Simple enough. So I'm about to try on the suit and I ask what the total price would be. Came out to something like $560. So I asked: How'd you get that number? Well, the manager -- who, incidentally wasn't wearing socks even though this is a dressy clothes store -- says: we add up the price of all three suits and take the average. How's that three for one? So, I say, that's not what the sign says. "Yes it does," says he. "Bye," says I. I didn't check to see what it would have cost if I paid for the highest priced one and the other two were free. But this seemed like a shell game. See if you have better luck. At worst, you'll have a half hour of laughs and the salemen will waste their time.
