I didn't even have an appointment, but the kindest and helpful associate named Rochelle , must be a sign because that's my mother's name greeted me and said she would help me . Rochelle was finishing up with another customer. This customer said to me that Rochelle was so helpful! Practically in tears I told Rochelle all about my negative experiences with gown shopping. She assured me we would find something and that the shop had new gowns in stock from when I was there the first time! Grabbed a few to try one, found the most stunning gown and once she grabbed the proper shoes and under garments it was instant joy! You must come here, the entire staff was fabulous and the styles and reasonable prices make it a no brainer!

She also listens to awesome music while you shop! The place also isn't overwhelming which is actually a refreshing feeling. There are two wracks - one is designer pieces she picks up to resell (at reasonable prices) and the other is a wrack of vintage clothes (all SUPER adorable). There are other accessories there, from belts, to head bands and scarfs, to shoes and bags, to jewelry. Tucked in the corner of the store is a dressing room too. Best of all, the selection changes throughout the week, as she is constantly updating her collection. The best part is there is a discount wrack outside and a $1 box - I scored a cute skirt and a cute travel bag in this overflowing treasure chest. Overall: what a sweet place to shop and I commend her for having such a fun store. Sadly I am a true thrifter and I rarely splurge on clothes, so I am waiting for the right dress out of her lovely selection to buy. I looked on the front of my receipt and did not see anything about returning or exchanging the item within a specific time frame. Then they informed me that I would only get a credit for the current purchase price. They informed me the return/exchange policy is on the back of the receipt. I purchased the dress on sale for $50.99 and the credit would only be for $34.99, the current sale price. UGH I pretty much purchase all of my dresses at The Loft since they have a nice selection of petite clothing. I only wish they would state the policy on the front of the receipt, i.e./purchase must be returned or exchanged within 45 days. The staff also informed me today they will have a new policy and the return or exchange must take place within 30 Days. I am pretty disappointed to say the least. I think I will have to choose another store for my petites. I guess Nordstrom's will be my choice for petites in the future. Have a nice day!

When I called corporate, they told me that the $20 membership automatically renews every 6 months and not every year, like Nate had told me. I also felt like I was pressured into buying the upgraded membership during my second visit, which I found out later was $60. If there was more transparency about the membership price and other relevant information, my star rating would have been higher. This isn't good business practice. Also, if Nate had just apologized to me for his mistake instead of just stating facts without remorse after I gently confronted him or anytime during that visit, he would have gotten a better review. It takes a person of "great" character and integrity to tell the truth and own up to things and apologize if there was any wrongdoing. After this experience, I'll be buying my ASICS sneakers at the ASICS outlet in Jersey Shore Premium Outlets and the ASICS website. Update: They told me that my membership fee was going to be refunded. They still haven't issued my refund and it has been 5 days. I called them and they told me that my account number wasn't able to be found, but they are able to locate how much I paid and how I paid that day in the Shrewsbury location. The associate said she would escalate it to management and they would call me. A few phone calls later, they told me they found my account and confirmed finance had issued my refund yesterday and I'll be getting my refund 3-5 business days from June 18. Getting a refund issued shouldn't have to be complicated. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GREEDY COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING SCREWED OVER!!! Also, if you are desperate to tell people to write a yelp review about you, the associate is love bombing you on the sales floor, and it's difficult to get a refund issued back to you, red flags should be going off.
