isited this Davids Bridal location as my first shop to try on wedding/elopement dresses. You have to make an appointment in advance to try on wedding dresses regardless of the location. This location wasn't busy at all the day I went in November so I'd like to hope they wouldn't turn away customers who wanted to try on some dresses if they didn't have an appt. While they make you complete a style questionnaire ahead of time, no where on the form does it allow you to input the specific style numbers of the dresses you want to try on. I called and gave the consultant a bunch of the style #s ahead of time so it could be in my appt record and brought a print out with more to maximize my hour in the store. The associate helping me was very helpful and patient, and not pushy at all. I enjoyed working with her much more than the associates I worked with at the Paramus location. The Paramus location was much more lively on a Saturday vs. the Freehold location. I didn't end up buying a dress that day however I had a good idea of which styles I did not like and a good sense of my sizing in the DB studio brand. DB does have a good amount of affordable dresses. The actual store is a bit dated looking, on the inside and outside, but the staff were friendly there. read more

We stopped at Davids Bridal last minute looking for a wedding dress for her. She saw a few on line. It was about 11 on a Wednesday morning and NO we did not have an appointment. There were two customers looking in the store for guest dresses end no Brides. The store is dated and not clean. The ladies bathroom should have been clean , they just opened up. A lady started by gathering a few dresses and putting her in a dressing room. After trying on the first two dress the lady said , "I will come back I have a bride that is here with an appointment". She never came back. We left the store. Lucky enough we decided to drive to another location in Bucks County and what a difference. The stores were like night and day. It was clean and inviting. She purchased a dress and Solange made it a great experience. read more

I went into the freehold office for my first visit, I was coming from Staten Island and I left my house almost 2 hours before my appointment and I got stuck in a lot of traffic. I didn't call the store and let them know I was going to be late. My the First Lady i worked with tells me you can only Pick five dresses and we pull them, which was fine but I felt like my appointment was rushed even though I was told that I would still get my hour appointment. So I decided I was going to come back with my bridesmaids, my second appointment was by far so much better, the Second Lady let me take my time and pick my dresses and my bridesmaids dresses. I have to go back for my alternations and after reading some of the reviews I'm a little nervous about it. read more

Decent service if you come to the store in person. But even then, I would recommend choosing a different place. If you do plan to choose this place and have any type of phone inquires/help about your order, good luck! I called several times to get the status of my dress and either the people are not taught how to do basics (like looking up an order) or there is just that much turn over in the business, I had so much difficulty! Every time I called there was some issue. I heard more "I can't...we can't...etc."rather than, "I will figure out....I will ask my manager...etc." Never will I ever recommend coming here for anyone! Please save yourself some stress and go find another place to purchase your dress for that special occasion! Went in with my daughter to look for a white dress for her engagement party. Was greeted and told what was what in the store. We looked around and took 5 items to the dressing room. The greeter saw us go into the dressing room, confirmed what we were shopping for. One dress was too small, so I went to see if there was a bigger size. While I looked, another salesperson came to me and very sternly told me that I was not allowed to get dresses myself and would have to wait until she was done with a bride and then would help us. She talked to me like I was a child going through her personal closet. Not at all necessary. She could have spoken to me in a friendly manner and explained the way things work. No one told us we had to have someone pull dresses, even when we were seen entering the dressing room. We left and will not be going back. read more

I went into my bridal appointment kind of nervous and not knowing what to expect. I will say that not only was I beyond impressed, I would recommend David's to anyone and everyone. Danielle was my bridal appointment stylist and she was AMAZING. She pulled some great dresses and was a doll. Didn't push me and just was so helpful. Marie assisted with Bridesmaid appointment and she helped with my somewhat confusing vision and helped me narrow down the colors and vibe. For a mismatch style, it was not easy so she really helped out so much. I did not pick a dress yet but I will be using them for bridesmaids and I still dream about my dress so I am sure I will be back. read more

I literally created another email to leave this review on google since I already had a terrible experience with this company in the past - should of learned my lesson and not have given them another chance. Recently I made a purchase in store (but it was online since they did not have the dress instore), it was a potential dress for my Bach party. I said if I change my mind, will I have issues returning? I got a simple "no". Well if only my situation was as simple as that.. I placed that dress order on May 17th. They got the dress in on May 30th. I called the store and said that my fiancé will be in the area, if I give him my card and receipt can he just return the dress for me? They said "no sorry, you can only get store credit. You are only allowed to return in-store purchases within 7 days of purchasing the item". I explained to the girl that I did not walk away with the dress in hand on the 17th, that it was ordered online through the store - how could I return a dress within 7 days if I didn't even have it to see if I liked it or etc? She said sorry its store policy. I immediately called corporate and they took my complaint down but I have yet to hear from them. David's Bridal is TERRIBLE to work with. I don't know who created that policy but do they understand that it does not make sense??? How do you know you are going to like the item or want to keep it without seeing it?? No one told me when purchasing this, that this can be a potential issue and that regardless I would be stuck with the dress. MAKES ZERO SENSE. I even tried when I was in the store to order the dress on my phone and the lady behind the register stopped me bc she said that she has a coupon & if I order through the store I can get it cheaper. (Nothing about how I cant return it once it's delivered to me though??--what a scam) This store is a joke. If I just continued to order the dress by myself on my phone like I was originally doing I apparently would not have this problem. Bc any online purchases NOT MADE IN STORE - do not have this issue. You have 7 days from when its delivered to return--something that makes more sense. I feel like this is a disgusting policy that they love to catch people have a losing situation in. This company is terrible to deal with, truly terrible. I have so many friends getting married right now and I could not talk their ear off enough to tell them to go to any other place but David's Bridal. It doesn't take much convincing bc they themselves had their own horror stories about this company. You would think in a world that we are in today, with brides having to deal with Covid and other things ruining their plans, that a store that is supposed to help with "happy moments & times" that they would have great customer service and try to help. That seems to be the last thing on these people's minds. I had my fiancé pick up the dress this past Monday so it doesn't get put under the "did not pick up list" and they get to keep it. When he went to pick it up, they never asked for his name or proof of purchase- he was able to just walk in the store and get the the dress - wild that they even allowed that with no proof! Yet you cant return an order that was purchased in store when the associates did not even give the full details of the purchase. This is disgusting and I just want my money back. Store credit does nothing for the experience I keep having with this place. I don't want to purchase or ever step in your store again, why would I want store credit?? You let people purchase items under false pretenses and then hide behind "sorry its store policy" --that's disgusting. Corporate please see this and please get back to me ASAP. Originally I had plans to buy my wedding dress on one of the online websites that are cheaper but I did want to have that dress shopping experience with my mom and figured it would at least give me some ideas on what kind of style I would like because I was still torn between a more plain laid-back look and the princess style dresses. Unfortunately due to COVID I was limited to only two people to bring with me but I do feel like two people was a good number, I brought my mom and future mother-in-law. We went on a weekday afternoon and it was thankfully not very busy at all. Christine helped us with our appointment bringing dresses for me to try on and helping to adjust the fit and offer guidance, she was great and very patient even when my indecisiveness made us go over our appointment time. Unfortunately most of the dresses I had picked out on the website were not available in the store so I had to pick out all new dresses while we were there, which was a bit of a bummer. Everyone told me they ended up buying the first dress they tried on. I ended up loving the first dress I tried on and not really liking any of the rest at all until we were about to leave and I saw one dress on clearance in my size that looked nice. I tried it on and loved that one too, and ultimately ended up going with that one. Ultimately the price was fair for a wedding dress and I got so many compliments at the wedding saying how the dress was so "me" and that they loved it which was so nice to hear. I also loved the veil the sales associate picked out for me but at $200 it cost almost as much as my dress! I ended up picking out a nice one on Amazon that I didn't love as much but was only $30. Our service was so nice and making an appointment was very easy at this location and their selection was pretty big, the only reason I'll deduct a star is because after I had bought my dress I went into another David's Bridal location and I felt that they had a lot more dresses on display that seemed to be in my style and a larger selection of styles than what I saw at the Freehold location. Who knows if I would have preferred a different dress over the one I did get? But now that the wedding has come and gone I am no longer experiencing dress-FOMO since like I said I got so many compliments on the one I did pick out. read more

I bought my dress here in December. I loved it and everything about it. I'm very busty but the first seamstress I had (Julia) said we could work something out to raise the neckline and add some straps along with taking it in cause it was too big and hem the front just a tad. I wanted it floor length, not an inch above because I didn't want my feet to show at all. I went back for the fitting a month later, the dress was too short, the top wasn't finished (no straps added & neckline not raised), and still too big. Same undergarments & same shoes. ALSO a DIFFERENT SEAMSTRESS. This was Maria. Maria had no idea what the plan was between me and Julia and asked why there was extra fabric in the bottom of my bag, which is weird because they work together so why did no one communicate what the plan with my wedding dress was? She asked me to take off my spanx & waist trainer to see if that would help. Dress was still too big. She told me to wear nothing under it cause that was the measurements we were gonna go by. I left that day in January under the impression that straps would be added, modesty pieces for a "raised neckline" would be added, and it would be taken in. I was told to get flats since you can't fix the hem once it's done. Mind you, I wore the same shoes that I wore when I purchased the dress. I returned on feb 11th, same shoes, same undergarments.. my sister goes to zip the dress up & the clasp at the top BUSTS.... GOES FLYING. Cant zip the dress up. So she takes it off me and Maria & Lisa ANOTHER NEW SEAMSTRESS day they'll "let it back out, I must've gained weight"... mind you i have been actively losing weight. Told me to stick around about 10 minutes... after 45 minutes of waiting around I put the dress back on. She let out the top of the dress but that top where the "modesty pieces" were is HIDEOUS. Looks like an arts and crafts project. My back is bulging out, my boobs are bulging out & I was told "if you wear your hair down it will cover it"..... umm excuse me??? So me and my sister are having a fit about this dress cause it's hideous. I left in tears and having to pay more money so they could "fix it". The next day I went to the Trevose location begging for help asking what my options were cause I was mortified and so over it. Now I'm stuck and having to purchase a new dress 2 months before my wedding because they fucked up my alterations.... WISH I COULD GIVE A 0 FOR FREEHOLD. HOW DARE YOU MESS UP SOMEONES WEDDING DRESS AND NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!!!! You don't tell someone wear your hair down it'll cover it? That's not the answer. Hopefully David's bridal will at least give me a discount for another dress or give me my money back cause this is bullshit. I spent 548$ on the dress and 390$ on alterations. read more

I purchased a few pairs of shoes on line to try on and keep the pairs that suit my needs. I called the store to ask if I could make my returns at the store and the lady, I believe her name is Sasa told me I could either return it at the store or by mail. So I chose to go to the store which is 10 miles from my house. When I arrived she took my order number and then told me that she cannot process the return because I had more things coming. I was stunned and could not believe what I was hearing. I understand and respect policy but I cannot come to terms with lack of knowledge, communication and professionalism. This was my first and last time I will be giving business to this store. As for policy... They might or might not charge a restocking fee for returns? Wow!! First things first - this place needs a serious upgrade. The floors are gross-looking and the walls are all marked up in the dressing room. It looks like nobody updated this place in a decade or gave it a paint job at least. My experience was weird to say the least. I picked dresses out from their very sparse collection of gowns. I got my gowns and tried them on - they were okay. What was weird was there was this older gentleman in his 60s about that decided to perch himself on a table/shelf in the dressing area near the veils and literally sat there, talking loudly on the phone and staring in my direction. I became VERY Uncomfortable. My mom was even creeped out and tried to kindly tell the associate to have him relocate. She didn't have him move far. Apparently he was there waiting for a bridal party (this girl legit invited her entire family). He should NOT have been allowed near the dressing area where women are trying to get changed - especially if his party wasn't there. He should have been told to stay at the front of the store until his family members arrived. While trying on my dresses, the girl who brought her entire family (who brought "yes/no" signs and all) arrived. I was only there with my mom becuase I prefer it to be a quiet affair. The associate who helped me who was nice and all, was encouraging the other family to interact with me and hold signs up for me when I DID NOT want the attention. I understand what she was trying to do but I felt it was a little rude to assume I wanted that. The family was there for the other bride, not me. Also, I hated the fact this ginormous family was allowed there because I felt uncomfortable with all of them staring at me while waiting for their bride to get dressed. I heard them whispering, saw them pointing and clearly talking about me and I felt super weird. Most places locally allow 1-4 people, this girl had at least 15 guests with her. I'm glad I went to Castle Couture beforehand. The difference is crazy - quiet, private, clean, and modern. Castle Couture says their prices start at $2,000 when I found a top designer dress there for $1,200. Vera Wangs at David's go for around that price but the experience at Castle was way better and more professional. Go there. I loved a Vera dress at David's but the experience and the condition of the store turned me away. I want a genuine boutique experience and it felt hard to have that there - it's a chain store so I should have expected what I saw. read more

I am so disappointed to leave this review. I was coming from another appointment and knew I would be about 15 minutes late. I called in advance to see what options I would have being late. I was BERATED and told they are very busy and my allotted time would not be extended under any circumstances. I explained I didn't need the full hour or hour and a half and just wanted to give them a heads up and make sure it was okay...they hung up on me. My sister got there before me and they would not let my niece even try on flower girl dresses before I arrived. The kicker was when I did arrive. Waiting in line to check in when I walked in, the saleswomen were talking about me! (Well if the bride shows up... Lets see how long were waiting ) I stopped them since there was a large group waiting to check in and it was embarrassing & I didn't want to ruin the day already. After explaining to the saleswoman I was looking for a second dress for later in the ceremony/"trash the dress" and had a lower budget- I could tell she was not happy already. She showed me 5 dresses, and not ONE dress was in my budget!!! When I said I would have to think it over since none were in my budget, she told me the price she gave me was only for today. I asked about the sale going on- and I was told "we only get told what sale is running when we come into work". I asked her about the email I got that said the sale was good through Monday. She told me she would go check with her manager. I never saw her again. Today I got an email from David's bridal saying I cancelled my appointment and how to go about rescheduling. Even if I liked any options, the rude associates and poor customer service has completely turned me off from David's Bridal. My flower girl, fiancés mom & grandma and my own mother and aunt were all excited to try on outfits for the wedding- however after our experience everyone is confident we will not be giving any money to this company!!!! read more

It wasn't until I was discussing her dance with my coworker who happens to work at your freehold location and she (Jen) suggested to stop in and see what they have. Not only did everyone treat my daughter with the best of care, but also were hands on in solving my dilema with the sizing of her dress! Katie was amazing. I had a wonderful experience at David's on May 31st. I went to look for bridesmaid dresses for my wedding and all of my maids left with beautiful gowns. They all looked amazing and felt good about the experience. Katie was so attentive and got all of the styles and sizes they wanted, which were plenty! She had everyone in the perfect fit and size, all 5, in less than an hour. Everyone had a blast. On top of it, with time to spare, I decided to look for my own dress. As I wasn't happy with my first decision, she pulled all styles I would have never thought for myself. She wowed my mom, not an easy feat, and got me into a dream dress and accessories that I would never have imagined. I'm so happy with my dress, the veil was everything and more. The manager was also super sweet and made the evening there even more special. On top of it, we stayed past closing because I wanted to Skype with my future mother in law. A few things I really like about David's Bridal - The dresses are out on display, you can touch them, feel the material, you can see the beading/design and details (I've been to boutiques where they leave the dresses in bags and they have a photo attached that looks nothing like what's in front of you) - They have a website! You can go online and "like" the dresses you want to try on. When I walked in Amanda greeted me and we went over some of the styles I picked from the online website. From there we determined what I liked, disliked, and what complimented my body. - Also regarding the website you can see REAL brides in the dresses, and you can see how the dress photographs in different scenarios. - HUGE selection. When I started looking at dresses, I was so set on a specifical style/cut and ended up with something COMPLETELY different - you have the opportunity to try ANYTHING on. - Pricing - Once you say "wedding" the price of everything skyrockets. They have dresses for every price range as well as a free rewards program. - AMANDA - Amanda was an absolute pleasure, she is amazing!! She was not pushy, she listened, she was fun, she did not rush us, she had patience, she let me retry on the same dress over and over again. She pulled dresses for me to try on. - Amanda as well as the other staff members had fun ideas for hair pieces, veils, adding sleeves or bling and making minor adjustments to the dresses. Overall, it was a great experience, and I said "Yes to the dress". I ended up purchasing a dress I NEVER would have tried on but Amanda had listened to my reaction and she recommended I try it on. She was very professional and all the dresses she chose were beautiful. Although I didn't choose my dress ( just wasn't sure any were the one) I did really love one dress and she wasn't pressuring when I said I wasn't going to buy today. If I could give 0 stars I would. A couple of months back I took my bridal party there to find their dress. Amanda was our stylist who could not give us the time of day to help us. I asked her if she could pull my dress and she said no she had other things to do. I wanted all of my bridesmaids to have the same material dress and asked her to point us in the right direction. She did not and now all of my bridesmaids have different material. Not only did she not care enough to help us but she insulted one of my bridesmaids on several occasions regarding her weight. By telling her that she was to big and nothing fit. Not only did management not take of this situation but when I contacted corporate they ignored it. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go here unless they enjoy getting mistreated. This experience was absolutely appalling. DB I am not sure if you actually READ my review. I had the pleasure of having Jill as my stylist for my appointment. Upon arrival, I checked in and browsed some dresses. Jill came over shortly after to introduce herself, reviewed some styles I favorited and made some suggestions. Shortly after - we started trying items on. As I was asking questions she answered EVERYTHING (poor Jill I had so many). I had a lot of fears shopping for a dress in NJ when I reside in CA. I explained I was just beginning to look - but really wanted my family with me so I was willing to pull the trigger on purchasing a dress if I found something I liked. Not only did she answer all my questions she also made some awesome suggestions and gave awesome advice. After each dress she questioned what I love, like and HATE. She took everything into consideration. The 4th dress I tried on I couldn't stop crying. Jill went and got some beautiful vails and placed them on my head. She made me feel beautiful with the vails she suggested. She didn't pressure me at all (knowing I lived in CA and was considering purchasing a dress there). Needless to say I purchased the dress! I know I could have went to a David's bridal in CA, but honestly with how Jill was - I didn't want to deal with anyone else. I went to David's in Freehold over a month ago. I was excited because I purchased two prom dresses for my daughter. The second dress came in earlier than expected but the day before my first one was due in I still haven't heard from them. I called on 4/1 and was told it's probably in the back and hasn't been processed yet. I will receive an email today. A week later, still no email I call back. I am put on hold for 20 minutes and then she comes back and says oh that. dress is no longer available. Are you kidding? Less than three weeks til prom, fully paid for and you're telling me it's not available. Very unprofessional. When would you have let me know if I didn't call? Very disappointed so I warn everyone - the price may be reasonable but the uncertainty is not worth it. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. I'll pay a little more but at least I know I'll get my item. read more

After having a less than desirable experience at the David's Bridal in East Brunswick, I decided to try again at the Freehold location. I was incredibly surprised by the reviews because I have nothing but good things to say about the team at this location. The East Brunswick location sold me a dress by advising me they would be able to alter it the way I wanted by removing the straps and pulling up the back so it wouldn't be so open and sexy. I purchased the dress and when I went to pick it up a month later, I asked to speak to the seamstress again and unfortunately got a different response to my alterations request. The manager came over and told me I was misinformed during my first visit and that I'd have to either take the dress to my own seamstress or shop for a new dress of equal value. Needless to say, I was upset but agreed to look for another dress on a different day. I went back to the drawing board and began to search online again. I found a dress I loved and called the East Brunswick store to be advised that they didn't have it for me to try on and that they couldn't swap inventory with another store to get it for me to try on. Ugh... So I called the Freehold store and they not only had the dress but offered to help me the same day! I went in and met with Megan who was incredibly sweet, sincere, understanding, funny and helpful! I could not have asked for a better experience. She helped me try on the dress and although that one turned out not to be the one, she offered an alternative she thought I would like and I LOVED it!! She added a little bling on the waist and completed my look. I nearly cried after seeing myself in the mirror. I explained my East Brunswick experience to her and she did everything she could to turn it around and make it positive. She literally saved my wedding day by making me feel great about the way I looked. Megan is a problem solver. She looks super young but is incredibly intuitive and offers her honest opinion to get you into the perfect dress. I walked out with a huge smile on my face and a new dress ordered for my big day! Can't wait for it to get in!!! My only regret is not giving her a huge hug to express how grateful I was for her prompt attention and her ability to save the day! I came here to help my bridesmaid pick her dress for my wedding next year. The place had a nice selection from what I saw, but was smaller than the David's Bridal I had originally visited to buy my wedding dress. The ladies here were a bit more preoccupied in whatever they were doing, and weren't really that professional. They did what they needed to and got straight to the point. I guess because I already spent my larger amount of money else where, they didn't need to "woo" me to make the sale of the bridesmaid dress. I need to get my dress altered, and this place is closer to me than where I originally went... but I'm not sold on coming here.... We'll see. read more

It was not a great experience - the associate seemed annoyed that I didn't care for the majority of their inventory, which was about 90% princess-style dresses. She also was going back and forth between me and another soon-to-be bride, which I felt was a little unfair to us both. I could have still come away with a good experience despite not finding "the" dress at David's Bridal - I had been to several other stores where I had fantastic experiences looking even though I didn't find a dress. And perhaps to top the entire experience off, I have received numerous emails associated with either David's Bridal or associated with David's Bridal. It was such a huge mistake to include my email address, so please don't make the same mistake if you do plan to make an appointment. Horrible customer service!! The kicker??? Being hung up on after 30 minutes trying to get them hold just three stupid dresses for me! Had to call multiple times! Came here to look at wedding dresses a few months ago. The dresses were beautiful and my consultant was great at finding dresses that worked for me. However every time she brought me into the dressing room to try a new dress she would start a new sales pitch. "If you buy your dress here you get X, Y and Z". She would not bring up these facts with my family and friends only when I was alone would she put the pressure on to make a sale. Since this was my first day looking I was not ready to make a decision. I was again pressured to make an appointment to come back. One I knew I would end up canceling. When I went to cancel it was as easy as making the appointment (right through an online form). Then the day after my appointment I started getting calls from the consultant apparently Davids Bridal doesn't inform the consultant when a customer cancels. read more

The first shop visit was ok, but the second one when I picked up my dress wasn't. The cashier, receptionist and tailor were both rude. I was told that I could have my dress steamed the next time I visit, however it turned out that they would charge $40. And all the tailor cared about was to convince me to spend money. The person that greets you is very rude here. She'll see you standing there waiting to ask her a question and even saying excuse me and she will blantly ignore you. That is no way of doing customer service. They messed up my cousins order for the flower girl dresses and showed me something completely different than that she had actually picked out. I went in to get my dress exchanged for a different size. The woman who greeted me was super helpful, the woman she handed me over to was not the nicest person but she did her job. When I found the right size dress I was so happy and went to desk to finish the exchange. I was in and out within 15min no hassle. read more

Katie was SO helpful and made the entire experience amazing. She helped me pick 3 top choices and although they were all beautiful, I fell in love with the first one I looked at! She realized I knew I loved it the second I tried it on and she didn't pressure me to try on more. She knew it was the one! Yes, you can find a nice dress at David's. It's kind of like shopping at TJ Maxx, though- you have to sort through some junky stuff to find the gems. But they are there. My beef is with the service and the cost of alterations. Our consultant provided minimal service and seemed too inexperienced to do anything but pull random dresses. And when we asked about alterations, she grossly underestimated what they would be. In the end, our dress was no bargain, as David's loaded up the costs on the alterations. They were simple alterations - not complex, trust me. That's how they get you here. If you think you are saving money by shopping at David's, be forewarned. You can do better and have a more positive experience elsewhere. read more

Everyone suggested going to a bridal shop in Manalapan. I made an appointment and we went. The experience was awful and disappointing. We decided to take a ride to David's Bridal. We got there and the store was closed, the sign said due to a power outage. The power was on, I called East Brunswick to see if they were going to reopen. The manger there was very nice and apologetic. She asked if the Freehold manager could call me. The Freehold manger called me back within a few minutes and was super nice. She asked what my wants and needs were, I expressed what I wanted. The manager told me they were going to be there early the next day because they had to clean up the store since they had no power and left in a frenzy. She asked if we'd be interested in coming back before the store opened the next morning..Since they were coming in early, the store was going to be all ours, of course we obliged! The next morning we arrived and the manager was great, she introduced us to our consultant Brenda. Brenda was amazing to work with. She was knowledgeable, resourceful and a lot of fun to work with. If it weren't for my terrible experience at the other store, I may not have had this great day. DO NOT GO. I am getting married next year and we received terrible customer service trying to find my future mother in laws dress for my wedding. The sales associate who was an older blonde woman who told my MIL that she needed the dress up in "many many" sizes. I'm sorry but who says that to another woman??? She asked who I was and i said im the bride and she looks at my Fiancé and goes who are you and he's like im the groom. She then gave me and my Fiancé a dirty look and goes "cute...... your real cute" with a snarky attitude and started questioning me why I didn't start dress shopping already. I was fuming the entire time because of how unprofessional she was being during what should have been an exciting visit. She gave a whole $20 off the dress but then made a dig saying "even though your not buying your dress here" im sorry after how much aggravation was during the visit why would i even bother??? However, my FMIL was happy with her dress so thats the only reason she ordered it regardless that even though the sales associate said the seamstress couldn't fix it (which she could!! and she came out looking sheepish) I did however go pick it up with my fiancé on sunday and the other sales associates seemed cheerful so thats the only reason why they get a 1 star. I'll be going to the East Brunswick location to purchase 7 bridesmaids dresses. Too bad they just lost out on a lot of money. Thanks for the frustration. read more

Went in without an appointment to browse for a dress for a formal I have coming up. Honestly wasn't expecting to find anything. The staff was so nice and helpful! Lots of dresses to chose from and great prices! All the formal/ prom dresses were either 50% off or $30 off. Found a great dress for only $69! So happy! read more

This was my 3rd time here as a bridesmaid and i will never ever again in my life step foot in a davids bridal store. The first wedding i was in they forgot to order 2 dresses so we had to pick an entire different dress. The 2nd time they wouldn't refund us our money or do anything for us when 4 bridesmaids dresses came out crooked! Now the 3rd time in a wedding not only was the customer experience horrible and the woman who helped us didn't listen to what we wanted. She kept trying to get us to buy a more expensive gown, but after receiving our dresses they had stains, glitter, and pulls as well as ripping in the gown with the beading falling off. Really poor and slow service. Would not recommend. I already had my wedding dress and just came with my mom to get her dress. We waited for hours because the customer service was so slow. They suggested we try on certain dresses that came in the color we wanted, choosing one, only to find out it wasn't available. Extremely long process and waste of time. Even worse, when we went to go pick up the dress, all we needed was to try it on and get alterations and this took hours due to the poor customer service. Not rocket science. If there's open dressing rooms, let us try on the damn dress rather than waiting 2 hours for you to be ready. Would not recommend if looking for a good customer experience at all. read more
