When I arrived for my appointment, there was already an uncomfortable situation unfolding in the store involving another customer and a disputed sale. While I chose to overlook that and proceed with my appointment, the overall experience only declined from there. The owner greeted me abruptly and, after I showed her an inspiration photo, immediately told me that a ball gown "would not look good" on me--an unnecessary and unprofessional comment. I then worked with a sales associate, who informed me that the dress I was looking for had just been sold. She proceeded to bring out two heavy, winter-style gowns that were completely inconsistent with what I had described (a formal summer garden wedding) and in a size (16) that did not match mine (4). Despite being told the store carries thousands of dresses, I was ultimately told there was nothing suitable for me. Given my budget of up to $3,000, this was both surprising and disappointing. Having worked in the retail and service industry myself, I can honestly say this was one of the most discouraging and unprofessional shopping experiences I've had. I left feeling dismissed rather than assisted. I ended up going to Emily's Boutique, where the experience could not have been more different--welcoming, attentive, and ultimately successful, as I found the perfect gown. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Diane & Company to others looking for a positive, customer-focused shopping experience.

Its been 2 weekly visits when I noticed once again no wipes in the children's play area. The representative indicated she would notify housekeeping and in about 30 minutes wipes were replaced. I would urge management to pay more attention to this high risk area with so many small children and their parents. It's the parents who are spending money at the mall so please be more respectful.

No one got back to us when they would be in, so We called and they informed us my son's suit was done but my husband's suit was on back order My husband had to call numerous times to see if it was in and no one knew what was going on. With the wedding only 2 weeks away we had no choice but to cancel the order and get out money back. Usually, three for one means that you pay for the highest priced suit and the two others are free. Simple enough. So I'm about to try on the suit and I ask what the total price would be. Came out to something like $560. So I asked: How'd you get that number? Well, the manager -- who, incidentally wasn't wearing socks even though this is a dressy clothes store -- says: we add up the price of all three suits and take the average. How's that three for one? So, I say, that's not what the sign says. "Yes it does," says he. "Bye," says I. I didn't check to see what it would have cost if I paid for the highest priced one and the other two were free. But this seemed like a shell game. See if you have better luck. At worst, you'll have a half hour of laughs and the salemen will waste their time.

The woman who manage the bridal shop suggested we go to Soma. So my daughter and I went earlier this evening. I tried on several bras but unfortunately none of them fit quite right. To be perfectly honest they seemed to be OK to me but Christina (the young lady who waited on me) showed me the "cons" of the bras I tried and finally said she felt she didn't have the proper size in stock for me. She could not have been nicer or more apologetic. I told her I appreciated her honesty. Alot of people would have just gone along with me just for the sale. She even suggested another place for me to try. Its a pleasure to meet someone who isn't just out to make sales. Thank you Christina. I will absolutely suggest Soma to other people.
