The dated retail monstrosity of Freehold Raceway Mall has never been a personal favorite but the absolute dishevelment inside Primark makes the rest of the place feel like Rodeo Drive. Shelves... why bother... just dig through the threadbare rags on the floor. Hey, there's a really nifty polyester sport coat I can wear to my next arraignment. I saw it first clown, give it back. So, you wanna play rough... You get the picture. Just having the jacket on for two minutes compelled other shoppers to spontaneously give me money. Why bother with a tin cup. Horrible customer service. I was really surprised how disgusting the supervisor Pam reacted when I asked if I could purchase a garbage bag instead of spending $5.50 on a reusable bag. The store was out of .10 & $1 bags, I came here to buy close to $200 worth of socks to donate and was treated so badly that my husband and person checking out next to me gave me a look as if in shock. It was horrible! Pam the manager was mean and unprofessional for a request that has been granted in the past -- a simple garbage bag, which I offered to pay for. I purchased over $100 worth of merchandise. I'm trying to take back $40 and just exchange it for size but they will not do it without a receipt. I told them to look up my credit card. They will not do that. It is a horrible store so if you lose your receipt, you're out of luck they should Update their policy to 2024 instead of being so archaic. Primark is a great place to shop for reasonably priced and good quality clothes. Ever since I was introduced to Primark it became a habitual shopping place for me. You will never find a store, like Primark where they sell very trendy sneakers for just 11 dollars! Primark has anything from 60 cent flip flops to a bed sheet set! I really enjoyed the experience until Primark started introducing changes to their locations. For the past year I start noticing a pattern when Primark started downsizing their stores, not just here in Freehold, as well as King of Prussia. Ever since that change Primark experience have changed. There is less stock on the floor now and it is a lot more packed with longer lines for customer service. They used to have a separate counter for just returns and exchanges which helped many people to avoid big crowds and now it's no longer there. The men section became very small, with barely any new stock for months. It is truly not the same experience anymore. I've been to the Staten Island location multiple times, paid that $15 toll to cross the Bayonne Bridge and everything and dropped BREAD in Primark. BREAD. LITERAL BREAD. AND I DO NOT FOLLOW THE 5 SECOND RULE SO I WAS ****ED. ****ED! Ahem. I apologize. Anyway, this store felt super claustrophobic and they have the nerve to arrange the sections in a way that forced me---FORCED ME---to go near the kids section. THE KIDS SECTION. Do you KNOW how many STROLLERS I had to dodge? I almost twisted my ankle. MY ANKLE. I run races, I can't lose my ankle, it's basically the ENTIRE LEG. Especially in Freehold. Nope. NO. NO. I've heard so much about this store from friends and family so I figured I'd check it out, despite being in freehold mall. Which I am not a fan of any mall but this one is the worst. Anyway.. Huge store great set up cute clothes from baby to adult. The selection is huge and of course prices are totally reasonable, but the quality is horrible. I was so disappointed. It makes me sad that our clothing industry is finally cutting its losses and succumbing to importing. They do carry alot from accessories to shoes. I'm all for a bargain but I prefer quality over quantity. Also all the check out registers are in the back of the store. The clothes also seem to be for a younger crowd which is great if your broke and in college and need clothes. I can go to other stores and pay less but have quality that lasts. Was excited to visit Primark for the first time because everyone is always so over the top about shopping there. My first impression walking in from the mall entrance was hope! Wow! What a footprint and look at the prices and racks and stacks of endless possibilities! In the end, my daughter and I wandered aimlessly around the store repeatedly saying to each other, I think you have to be in the mood to shop here. We spent a lot of time in the sleepwear section. Some really cute and cuddly options but in the end, even though the prices can't be beat, it was "but do we really need it?" My 26 year old daughter at one point said, "I'm afraid to walk away cause I won't be able to find you in here." Haha. A sense of how expansive the store is. When items to on sale, it drops 1-2 dollars if starting around $10 and clearance would be around $1-2! INSANE! The employees are very friendly and helpful! I brought a dress shirt to try on and because the item was folded, she gave be the same shirt from the back to try. Unfortunately it didn't fit and the sales person asked if she could find me another size. The store is above Sears. It's a British company. The space is large. It sells mostly clothing with some accessories. The types of clothing is akin to H&M. The prices are way cheaper than uniglo, H&M, and old navy. It's a great place to get nice wardrobe for work, at least when starting out, if you're a guy, without breaking the bank. Just keep in mind the shrinkage. This place does not go by their closing hours and like to close 15 mins to 20 mins early. I only was walking through the store because it was the closest exit and I observed a old male manager who seemed miserable per usual kicking myself and a couple out 20 mins before their closing time. Not even 10 or 5 mins. 20. He did not even bother to give a heads up, just a "We're Closed. Get out." I wasn't even shopping here, just hurrying to leave the facility. I first heard about Primark from a friend who has shopped here before and boasted about how clothing is incredibly inexpensive. After my first visit to their Freehold Mall location, I can attest to that. For those of you that have never been to or heard of Primark, they're essentially a budget-friendly European-based clothing chain (similar to H&M) with several locations here in the states. Upon walking into the store, I was astonished at how inexpensive the clothes were. A majority of items in store were $40 or below. You can even purchase a last minute suit slim-fit suit for about $50-$60 if quality or craftsmanship isn't your first priority. I purchased a nice double-breasted spring jacket for $40, a pair of shoes for $21 and a pair of sweatpants for $6.50! I was originally going to purchase a pair of olive green chino pants for $22, but after trying them on, I thought the fitting was weird, so I declined. Overall I'd recommend Primark if you're looking for the "best bang for your buck" for clothes. Too bad they don't really have many locations open in the NYC metropolitan area aside from their Staten Island Mall location. read more

It's like your department clothing store like Macy's, but much more affordable prices. From babies, to kids (girls and boys), to women's, men's, accessories, and shoes. They also have some home items and decor. Their men's section includes formalwear (suits separates). For women, they have lingerie, intimates, and a wide section for night wear including pajamas, robes, and onesies! You can find a basic women's crew neck t-shirt in a variety of colors for $3! I've found perfect fitting jeans for $11, pants for work for $7, chiffon blouses for $12, chunky sweaters for $18, while my boyfriend has found graphic tees for $4 and a puffer winter jacket for $23. I bought comfortable flats from here for $5! They also markdown items often where an item can go from $15 to $7! Good quality of clothes. Their layout changes so there's always new things to find! Their checkout lines can get long but they have a lot of staff working (even throughout the floor) so lines go fast and even on a busy weekend, they keep clothes as neat as they can, constantly re-folding. read more

It's been three days and it's not settled claiming corporate won't get back to them about it and they can't do anything . I always run here for anything I need. Their booties are really cute. I've gotten all kinds of things pillows throws, everything. My complaints are, it sucks that the store is always PACKED. The lines are extremely long because they seem to only have 2 cashiers always. They also give you these cheap ass paper bags that rip immediately you put anything in them and ask you if you want to buy a plastic one "that won't rip" ( not kidding they've said it to me) I've also bought the reusable plastic bag twice because I didn't want to risk walking around the mall with a ripped bag packed to the gills with my new stuff. Since my first review, this store has gone completely downhill. Though the prices are still lower than its competitors, some things have jumped in price with a decline in quality. The buyers for this particular store must have no taste. Never offer what is shown on website. Visited last month to find out store is 25% of its original size. Barely any options to pick from. A waste of toll money to get there and be disappointed. People who work in dressing rooms are also very rude and assume you're there to steal a $2 shirt with the way they treat you. I would have been a solid 5 a few months ago but what's happening primark?! A few months ago, your prices were half what they are now, there were fast lines, and you exchanged items without a receipt. The first one just breaks my heart. I thought we were going to be lifelong shopping buds, but now i'm seriously ready to write a complaint to the ACLU about your business practices. There is no store that has policies this restrictive if you get a gift receipt people cannot even return it it's only good for an exchange you can't even bring socks into the dressing room if you intend to buy them. Back again 3/4/20- getting a cheap yellow shirt for my daughters class trip. Here last night asked clearly three times if I could return or exchange without tags. They said yes. Back today because she needed a bigger size. Thankfully I did not let her take the tag off because just a few hours later the very next day I am told repeatedly that the tags must be on for a return. read more

Honestly I am so dissapointed at how much this store has changed. The quality of the clothing has gone down tremendously. Also, the store shrunk significantly and it's hard to find everything. There used to be a lot of options when it came to work clothes, such as, nice dress shirts; but now there's hardly anything. The prices are still the same, which is good. The one thing I hate is that when you return something they force you to get an exchange and if it has been marked down they only give you the marked down price even if you bought it for more. I'm so happy that there's now a Primark two hours away from me instead of four (the Boston location). This location is big though nowhere as big as the location in Boston but there is still a variety of clothing options here. The prices are low (which is good for my wallet) and you can buy a lot of things for less than $100! This place is organized and clean (I hope it stays that way!) and the shoe section is pretty big. I love that this place has a home&decor department because I'm currently trying to find ways to make my room look better. There are many cashiers located throughout the stores and there are a lot of dressing rooms, which is very convenient. This is a great place to take the family to shop because there are sections for the kids, the guys and the girls in the family. If you're balling on a budget, this is the place to shop. read more

Only Store in the country with a 28 day return policy. On the30th day I return a purchase of clothing I bought and was advised of this policy. Only exchange , no refunds. And to add insult to injury, 3 of the 7 items I purchased have been marked down. So I get the marked down price. I can only review the Primark in Freehold mall. When the store 1st opened I bought a sweater and a couple of tops. Buttons fell off and the fabric came apart so I never shopped there again until yesterday bc I needed one small item. The workers in there are horrible and rude. The two of them were talking and acted like I was bothering them when I asked if they had a certain item and it didn't stop there. The "workers " are miserable. Incredibly pleased that Primark has made its way stateside! This location of the UK chain is near Sears at the Freehold mall. It's huge and offers an enormous array of men, women, and kid's clothing and accessories in addition to household items: duvet covers, candles, home storage, picture frames, etc. I went in with a goal in mind of what I specifically needed to buy, which helped derail any wild notions to splurge as I got repeatedly wandered to the next cheapest price tag (this place is huge). There's at least 3 separate sections for registers, and the employees are friendly albeit politely confused as they were adjusting to the newness of the routine and flow of the dressing room (they just opened July 23, so it can only go up from here). I found the staff quite helpful and the merchandise selection excellent. I look forward to making the 45 minute drive here again...soon! read more

If you want cheap, imported clothing that is bound to fall apart in the next month, this is the place for you. I bought a jacket (zipper included) and it was anout 6 dollars. My first complait about it is when I wore it I looked like a walking mustard stain (partially my fault). My second compliant is the poorly made zipper's teeth fell out after the second week after the purchase. I shruged my sholder and delt with it. The next week it completely fell apart. I really wanted to love this place. I hear people on Youtube rave about it and was excited to learn one had opened semi near me. The store itself is pretty overwhelming but with enough time you can figure it out. My main issue with this store is the size selection. It seemed any article of clothing I was interested in wasn't available in under a size 6. I don't know if I went on an off day and everyone happened to shop all the smaller sizes but it is frustrating going to a specific store and not having many options. I was also told that their communications is also limited so I wouldn't be able to know about availability at other stores. read more

I love this store! My kids had a great time back to school shopping with friends. We spent an hour and a half in the store and the 3 year-old did not get bored! There was a great selection of clothes, accessories, socks, shoes, and there were yummy smelling candles by the register for less than $1. The prices were very reasonable too. Primark is EVERYTHINGGGG!! Seriously my friends and family know how much I love Primark and my mom thinks that's the only reason I come home to see her HAHA (it's not, of course!) Anywho, I was first introduced to Primark in King of Prussia mall and then in Madrid (its 3 stories- WOAH!) when I found out my home mall was getting a Primark, I knew the stars were aligned in my favor. The prices are beyond affordable (I'm talking leather leggings for $3, shirts for $1, faux fur scarfs $2) it's RIDICULOUSLY amazing how affordable it is. The quality of some items is not the best, but for the most part I have no complaints. On my most recent trip, I was home for 3 days and was in Primark for 3 days (I know, I know, but I couldn't resist!) I got a rack of items for a STEAL! I recommend this store to each and everybody I can and am good for "oh that's really cute, where did you get that from?" "PRIMARK!" Lol. I first stumbled into Primark in Madrid not knowing the magical place was also in the US. Forgot what you know about shopping and there not being hardly any places to go that don't break the bank. The prices are outrageous and I mean it in a good way. Let's start with the prices as the store always has a sale going on. I'll give you an example of my most recent haul which was 3 times within the span of a weekend ( I love it that much). I purchased a pair of skinny black jeans with zipped ends and a frayed look($10), several cute and stylish shirts($3-$5), "leather" pants($3), asymmetrical "shiny leather" zip up skirt($2.00), a twin pack of face wipes($2.50), T-shirt bras($1), regular jeans ($10), sneakers ($10), a "leather"' jacket($15). I could go on but you'd be hearing from me forever. The quality of the clothing is good and always on trend. Another plus is the fact they have so much more than just clothing. You can get things for your home , random odds n ends, and luggage. The staff is always pretty friendly and helpful. I'd say run there but at your own risk because you're likely to spend all your money. read more

Although I like their clothing, Uniglo's return policy is convoluted at best. You cannot just return an item for exchange of a different size or color or whatever. The item must be returned and then they refund your money only to the original card. I had to close my account on that my card was attached to before they returned my money and even though I changed my card on file with them to the new card, they would not return the money to it. They said to get my bank to allow the money into a close account, which of course the bank wouldn't do. Consequently, I never received my refund even though they sent me an email saying that the return was complete. I wrote several emails explaining the problem to the and requesting them to refund the money to my new card but they never would. This is a big problem and I will never order from them again because they still have my money from my last order that I returned. read more

As others said, it's gone downhill in the past months. Ever since they downsized, it hasn't been the same. They decreased amount of staff, decreased the space, and seem to have increased the prices. I can NEVER find my size anymore in anything I like, and it seems like things here run smaller than they did in the past. There's waaaay too much foot traffic in this store for them to have downsized the way they did. Being that it is an anchor, people are constantly passing through to get to the inner part of the mall. Combine that with people shopping in the store and you get a store that's constantly overcrowded, even on weekdays. You can barely walk the aisles in this place anymore. The selection is not anywhere near where it used to be and it's safe to say that I'm kind of disappointed in how this store turned out. Just like the once two-level Forever21 that was BEAUTIFUL and spotless when it first opened, it seems that Primark is going in the same direction.
