Very clean very modern! Wife had to do some returns here recently and get some infamil baby formula and she was in a door out in a flash! She flew through customer service with her returns, got the formula and was out in under 10 minutes. She said staff was super helpful! This is definitely a newer store, it feels much more modern and cleaner than most! They have a big parking lot, and it's always busy inside. Other than that it's a typical target with the same prices that you'd expect from your local one. Thursday 8/7/25 it was a madhouse. So many customers with 1 cashier. The line was over 20 + carts. Service was extremely slow people were abandoning their carts. My son asked if they could open more registers. None were open. Stock was low or not at all. Then to top it off. Finally leave the store and the person collecting the carts in the parking lot had over 80 of them on the automatic cart pusher. This line held up traffic, blocked the doors to go in an out of the store (all safety violations) which added to the circus atmosphere. I tried to call the store later on and was on hold for 15 minutes and disconnected twice. Poor management, poor training and the don't care attitude. No accountability. Oh and I never received my $10 gift card for the promo when buying certain products. read more

Self checkout lanes encouraged but half of them never work and don't take cash, only has one cashier with a horrible attitude because they have to do the work of 4 people by themselves. The store manager Jess does not take customer concerns seriously at all- went in last weekend and their bathroom was FILTHY I'm talking period blood and excrement on the only operating toilet, jess assured someone was coming in to clean it! Away for the Thanksgiving holiday and as usual, we set aside a few hours to shop those Black Friday specials. Loved all the excellent associates who walk through the store to ask if we needed help finding things, the assortment of sale and holiday merchandise that looked surprisingly organized and the immediate check out! We managed to find a few great deals plus some core items during our visit. The one manager, Alexis, (?) was hustling from register to register, stepping in to help the cashiers and answering radio calls, multi-tasking her duties. Great store. read more

I went into the store on Dec 1 to get a special advent calendar. They were reduced but the one I wanted wasn't there. I could order it at full price and wait till Dec 12. I was looking for a product and see that they had it. I called 3 times to ask them if the would do a price match. No one asked the call. I already was on my way there. I arrive there within two mins of me calling. A manager along with two associates were just standing there discussing some thing that was on one of the associates phone. I stood there for about 3 mins listening to what they were discussing. Then finally the manager tells on of the associates to help me. I said to them kindly that I had called 3 times and no one asked. They said they have been standing there and didn't hear a call. I shouldn't the manager on my phone the number. Had to wait 45 minutes for my online pick up. FOURTY FIVE MINUTES!!!!! For one item!!! Then they gave me a return that was missing the leg brackets (it was a bbq) making it useless. Great experiences here. Both buying (many) and returning (one). They have all the merchandise most Targets have and some the others don't. It is easy in and out. The young lady at the return counter was friendly and efficient. Self check was easy. Parking can be busy but I usually snag a spot that is doable. If you need groceries, a gift, items for an occasion, cards, cleaning supplies or all of the above you can get them here all in one spot read more

Every time I go to this location it is super-busy! The store has a lot to offer along with the in-house Starbucks. My only complaint is that I've only been able to use assisted check out once as there never seems to be any stations manned by associates. Unfortunately this makes checkout times incredibly long. I like the location, usually stop here when I get off the parkway en route to my beach house. They have a Starbucks which is great after a long drive. Reason for only 3 stars is: The RESTROOMS. I have stopped here after exiting the parkway and their Restrooms are disgusting. My niece is probably going to read this and laugh but I am a stickler about reststops. Target's are absolutely FILTHY & unsupervised. The soap containers are empty and anytime I've stopped here, nothing has changed. I don't think they are cleaned or monitored which is gross. In this current day with Covid and other viruses still around - not having any soap in a restroom is pure neglect. Also, I didn't see any antibacterial dispensers either. Let's talk about the checkout lines which can be insane- not enough cashiers. Yes, they have self-checkouts which are usually closed !!! More stuff than you need. The question is whether they have what you are looking for. The store is generally clean and has good prices though the staff appears short handed and sometime overloaded, leaving obstacles in aisles which can become tripping hazards because their attention is called to another task. Great place to look for cleaning supplies or that toy that you just gotta get. read more

Generally clean store besides the clothing departments. In the women's, clothes are typically falling off hangers and strewn all over the floor. Good organic food selection, and great holiday/seasonal area in the back of the store. They usually only have a few lines open, but the self checkout makes things move a little faster. I shop at the Target in Brick frequently. I came in today to print & frame photos for my 85 year old mother. The photo shop was closed because they ran out of paper - it MIGHT be in later this week. Went to get a bag for work and then my boyfriend decided to get something to cook for dinner, with too much to carry we put it in the bag and also had stuff in our hands. I finally found a cart and put the bag in along with a few other things, then me and my boyfriend and I were looking at jeans and he has to try them on every time, as he's small framed. We proceeded to the fitting room and an older lady was there and counted out our jeans. We went in together. She says ohhhh you're going in together in a sarcastic voice. I let it go, and just said yes. with my stuff still in the cart outside the fitting room we come out and put the things that didn't fit on her counter, she then gave me a rude look and I said is everything ok, why are you looking at me that way, and she said ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR ALL THAT. I said excuse's me are you accusing me of stealing and she said yes and went to get security. She was rude and security did nothing. Lady does not need to be working there. Your job is not to accuse people AND BE RUDE! I will never go their again and that was always my go to for everything needed. read more

Store in Brick NJ is still not stocked properly. Lots of shelves are empty. Ughh. Plus they only had one cashier. Line was half the length of the store. Some of the people were stocking shelves. So I guess that is more important then letting customers wait in long lines. read more

I went to Brick Target this morning and arrived at 8:03am. That's three minutes after they had opened. The place is an absolute DUMP. How they were allowed to close the store the evening prior with that amount of clothing on the floor is beyond me. It was an absolute mess in every department. This is one of the nicest targets. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The store is clean and relatively organized. Its also not crowded.

I used to love coming to the target but more and more recently it has been nothing short of disappointing. There is always piles of clothes on the floor that fell off the hangers that no one bothers to pick up. Don't even go near the shoe section-it triggers my anxiety. The food aisles also are always empty. I've never seen anything like it. I find it hard to shop in a store that is so dirty and messy. read more

Wow!!!!! This place is a complete disaster!!!!!!!!! They need to hire more staff! 2 for each department!! I'm at a loss for words!! This place has gone down hill. Just look at the pictures i took today!! I used to come to this target almost every night... then they remodeled the store and they never really REorganized! They just throw things in piles and leave it!! They have several carts of go backs but no one is there emptying them. Their parking lot is full of garbage. This store used to be fine 1-2 years ago. I tried to go there about 6 months ago and it was a mess. I figured it was an off day or something. I went in yesterday on my way home from work and it was a complete mess. This store is actually depressing to shop at. Carts are ALWAYS full of garbage. ( shame on the people leaving their garbage) Employees never remove it. The entrance rug is GROSS. This is the first thing you see when you come in. Need I say more? The grocery shelves are poorly stocked as well as the kids clothing -- pajamas.. and toy department is a mess and sparse. I was at this store yesterday when visiting with my relatives. We all needed something here that was on sale. This was one of the more modern locations, and the store itself looked nice on the inside and out. Customer service was fine. One year we had bought my daughter a PS for Christmas and bought a steering wheel for her. However she didn't open it until after a few weeks and the first time she used it-it snapped. I took it back with the receipt and they would not take it back. They said I need to send it back to the company. Just a few weeks after Christmas? WHAT???? I just wanted to exchange it. I didn't want my money back. So I bought a new one for cash and took it out to the car and switched it with the broken one and took it right back in. I've been going to this target for years and I even worked there for a short time in my early twenties. I never really had a problem and enjoyed shopping here. That is until today. My daughter and I were shopping for swimsuits and went to the fitting room to try something on. We were greeted by an unhappy looking older woman named Janet. She was so rude and angry toward us. At first I tried to be understanding but her rude behavior just continued. While we were in our fitting rooms another customer came in and she was polite to them. I don't know this woman from a can of paint and there was no reason for her to behave like this unless she had some hidden issues. The grocery department is loaded with empty shelves in every section. I went shopping there yesterday for 5 household items and 2 out of the 5 we out of stock. Can you imagine going to the store and only being able to purchase 60% of your list. one of the missing items was in the pharmacy department and the other was in the grocery section. Generally clean and quick to get through, they usually have plenty of stock in clothes and food, even toys and electronics, but diapers? It's a whole mess over there. I came in before vacation to buy swim diapers but saw there were no size 5. As I left the aisle I saw one package of size 5 in the wrong area and it looked messed up so I left it. I took a mental note of how bare there shelves were and left. I came in 3 days later and they were even emptier and that size 5 package was still in the wrong area. I came in another three days later and the same! Maybe a little emptier but that size 5 was still there! Don't you stock this area or at least clean it? Another day I came in with my son and husband and as we cashed out the customer two ahead was having issues with her card. The cashier was a middle aged man and very awkward and not very friendly. I couldn't hear them talking but he just left, he walked away. The customer followed him but he didn't say a word to the long line behind me. Customers were asking me where he went and I said "I don't know", he literally disappeared. The whole line rejoined other lines and I ended up waiting another 30 minutes. Who trains these people? You get 3 stars bc Target is generally awesome but these few faults are starting to drive me away. read more

Target: The store to shop at when you don't want to compromise your morals and values by shopping at Wal-Mart. For the whole two people who have never been to a Target, it's a department store, basically. Ever been to a K-Mart, the aforementioned Walmart, or even a Bradlees (back when they existed!)? Well, that's Target. The difference? I've found that Target is generally cleaner, better laid out, MUCH better staffed to handle crowds, and offers pretty darn good prices to boot. If you end up walking to pay and see a huge line, it's usually followed by a manager on the radio calling for backup - I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a minute or two in a line, even during the holidays. Not much else to say - there's your typical clothing depts, electronics, cookware, pet, etc. This particular Target goes one step further and offers a full grocery, so you can do all your shopping in one store - and the prices on food aren't too bad, really. The parking lot can be a bit of a mess, though. People love to park along the front to wait for their spouse to exit, and during busy hours on weekends the lot fills up pretty bad. The angular layout to the parking isles don't really help the flow, either. Still, I've been driving in Jersey for years now, I know how to handle people who don't know how to park / drive. If I need odds and ends or clothing, I typically go here first, since I can get just about everything done in one shot, and don't need to wait in a huge line. There's a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut Express inside as well, if you need a quick lunch or want to placate the kids while you shop. read more

Generally, this is the same Target as you would get anywhere. However, what I like about this one is I can easily find Philadelphia sports items here, it's very clean, very friendly, and it even has a Starbucks AND a Pizza Hut inside-which is something the Target that is closer to my home does not have.
