I spend nearly $ 2, 000 on the table which is only used in my seasonal home I shared the issues with Karen of customers service about my concern... here is her exact response....."your table was purchased in 2019, 5 years ago. Seaside Furniture is your local furniture store, we are not a big box store and we can not afford to replace every damaged piece well after the warranty has expired. You cannot go to a car dealer after your warranty has expired and say, we only use the car when we are at our beach house and it is just not running right, I want to exchange it" It is clear why the store has so many negative ratings. The problem with that is Brielle and Taylor King are the only people making any determination of difference. We are dealing with neautrals and it took me at least 20 swatches to be sure they worked together. Mine do not. Two small swatches compared to two larger chairs we ordered makes a significant difference in a room. Again, I requested a swatch from TK and just weeks later received the Chairs in a different dye lot. I was told they do not update swatches....Really, for that price range.... That is unacceptable, lazy and negligent. As I suggested, why not send a swatch from the fabric they are using..... How difficult can that be???? Shame to lose business for such a simple fix. I would have seen the difference.

Horrible owner!! DO NOT SHOP HERE…read more I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with this company. I called to inquire about service, and instead of receiving any form of assistance, I was met with shocking rudeness and told to "go F myself." This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for any business, let alone one that is supposed to value its customers. I would strongly caution others against using this company, as their customer service is not just lacking--it's outright disrespectful. if I could zero stars, I would the woman I spoke to was a horrible human being. Cool store if you are looking to decorate a shore house or if your taste runs in that direction…read more From its storefront you would not imagine how big the interior is, and how much stuff they have crammed in. But it's shop able and makes you want to keep exploring the nooks and crannies. There was a friendly and attentive staff on hand, but they didn't crowd or try to hard sell you. They seemed to like where they worked and the vibe transferred to the few browsers who were inside. As the other reviewer astutely noted, they seem to enjoy placing gag food items on tables, bars, hutches, hell, on any flat surface really. These items are seemingly handmade and priced fairly high for what they were. Maybe they throw one in for free if you purchase something that you could place it on?

I was drawn in by the window displays, but wound up wandering the entire length and width of the store. They offer interior design services and made to order (or assembled to order) furniture, as well as many decorative items. There were candles and candle holders, some Christmas decor, lamps, painted figurines, glass jars, some ceramics, clocks, novelty napkins, furniture, pillows and signs with the names of NJ shore towns on them, and nautical-themed decorations. (This is, after all, the Jersey shore!) I saw shiny aluminum dishes (or maybe they were ashtrays) shaped like life-sized flip-flop sandals, and carved wooden "bathing beauties" painted with vintage bathing suits. There were cast iron hooks shaped like lighthouses and shells. There was a lot of "faux food"--I guess you're supposed to put a fake cake or pie on your un-used dining room table, though I'd always rather consider a REAL cake or pie. There was quite a range of fabric samples to be chosen for upholstery on the furniture offerings. Interesting stuff, both for those shopping to furnish a home, as well as for smaller shore-themed gifts and decorations.
