    The aisles At Home

I love this store but the check out is slowwwwwwww. Often just one cashier for this super big warehouse. On occasion another person comes to help but expect to wait. You could spend the day here happily if you had coffee to fuel you and a ton of time. The seasonal section is huge. They have art, decor, mirrors, home goods, Knick knacks, seasonal stuff, indoor stuff, outdoor stuff, and much more! Everything and anything to decorate your place. Employees out on the floor stocking & answering questions when you hunt them down. Clearance sections and clearance in and among regular priced items. The store itself has a HomeGoods feel but on a bigger scale but in Costco warehouse style setting. If you know what you want they likely have it and if you don't you'll still find a lot to purchase. There is a lot of merchandise here. Make sure the sales ring up and that the items have a price tag. If they do there is a scanner to check the deals. Grab a cart so when you wait at checkout you don't have to hold your items. I will definitely be back

    Happy 4th of Halloween.

I dont even know how to rate this place. Today is June 19th. I went in to get another plastic planter for a palm tree. I couldnt buy one because they didnt have them anymore. 1/4 of the shelves were empty with paper hanging off of them with instructions on what xmas items to put there (Garland beads go here. Santa goes here. Snowman here). The other half of the store looked like a haunted house for Halloween. It's not even officially summer yet and all the summer stuff if gone. Aisles and aisles of empty shelves marked for xmas plus aisles and aisles of Halloween on June 19. So incredibly depressing and unwelcoming. Maybe come here for summer stuff in November? Dont come for xmas stuff... the shelves will be empty

I like their crazy seasonal section and they have weird sales and clearance between seasons where I've found some good finds.

Her sense of style, proportion, and color is remarkable but what truly sets her apart is her ability to balance beautiful design with thoughtful respect for a client's budget. She curated a stunning room for us, selecting the perfect rug, loveseat, and pillow combination that brought warmth and sophistication to the space. She even helped guide us on the wall paint color, and that decision elevated the entire room beyond our expectations. Diana listens. She sees the vision. And she enhances it. Ruth in scheduling was equally impressive, gracious, organized, and incredibly accommodating, even during a snowstorm. Her professionalism ensured everything stayed seamless. And then Delfino and his delivery crew went above and beyond in a way that truly touched us. Not only was the delivery flawless, but they actually shoveled snow to create a safe, clear path into our living room. That level of care speaks volumes about the culture of this store. We have worked with several high-end furniture companies throughout our major home renovation, and without hesitation, Bassett in Brick stands above the rest.

Please DO NOT BUY from this store. Horrible quality and even worse customer service. I purchased a…read morelarge dining room table with 8 chairs. As a new mother and just a family of 3, my husband and I haven't even had a chance to use most of the chairs. A month after delivery we noticed that one of the chairs had cracking all the way through the wood on the base of the chair, making it unusable. The chairs were purchased on sale but we also purchased the additional extended warranty. Bassett refused to discuss replacing the chair, only repairing, which we accepted. However, upon delivering the "repaired" chair, it was in worse condition. The cracking was not addressed. The screws were loose on the chair and there was black grease stains all over the tan cushion. I was so upset, refused the delivery and called the store immediately. After they did not call me back within the time frame they stated, I issued a complaint with the BBB and supplied pictures as proof. There, Bassett lied several times (I believe they didn't know I could read their response based on their surprise when I called to confront them regarding their response). They claimed that we broke the chair, refused delivery without cause, and that there was no chairs available to replace with (even though I can still go on their website and purchase the chair now). Upon writing another long response to BBB, Bassett agreed to repair the chair once again. While it came back in better condition this time, it still has a completely cracked base. It's one thing to argue about fixing/replacing the original chair, but it's another thing entirely to further damage the chair and then lie to the BBB. And while they did resolve the issues they caused while the chair was in their possession, it took many argumentative phone calls and writing to the BBB. I've dealt with some horrible companies in the past, but this one really tops them all considering the price of their items. Such a shame companies are allowed to operate like this. Now, a few weeks after that incident, the stain on the edges of the table have started to rub off where my husband and I sit and are showing white underneath. For the price Bassett charges I'm shocked the quality is so horrible. A very expensive lesson learned.

But it's shop able and makes you want to keep exploring the nooks and crannies. There was a friendly and attentive staff on hand, but they didn't crowd or try to hard sell you. They seemed to like where they worked and the vibe transferred to the few browsers who were inside. As the other reviewer astutely noted, they seem to enjoy placing gag food items on tables, bars, hutches, hell, on any flat surface really. These items are seemingly handmade and priced fairly high for what they were. Maybe they throw one in for free if you purchase something that you could place it on?

I was drawn in by the window displays, but wound up wandering the entire length and width of the store. They offer interior design services and made to order (or assembled to order) furniture, as well as many decorative items. There were candles and candle holders, some Christmas decor, lamps, painted figurines, glass jars, some ceramics, clocks, novelty napkins, furniture, pillows and signs with the names of NJ shore towns on them, and nautical-themed decorations. (This is, after all, the Jersey shore!) I saw shiny aluminum dishes (or maybe they were ashtrays) shaped like life-sized flip-flop sandals, and carved wooden "bathing beauties" painted with vintage bathing suits. There were cast iron hooks shaped like lighthouses and shells. There was a lot of "faux food"--I guess you're supposed to put a fake cake or pie on your un-used dining room table, though I'd always rather consider a REAL cake or pie. There was quite a range of fabric samples to be chosen for upholstery on the furniture offerings. Interesting stuff, both for those shopping to furnish a home, as well as for smaller shore-themed gifts and decorations.

Buyer beware! Merchandise of poor quality, terrible service, and will not honor warrantees…read more My husband and I bought a black reclining sofa with a matching reclining chair. The person at the store helping us really talked it up and the 5 year warrantee. That put us at ease... that if something happens to the furniture, we call and they repair it. Well, like other reviewers are stating, they don't follow through. But first, let me discuss the horrendous delivery. The guys dropped the sofa off the truck and slid it across our snow-covered lawn. They quickly assembled it in our living room and tried to have us sign off that everything was fine and that we accept it. I asked them to wait while I looked it over. One side was broken and I pointed it out. They tried to fix it but couldn't. I wouldn't sign for it. They took it back. Next delivery was weeks later but everything was in working order. I do however want to point out that they slid the large heavy boxes across the carpeting and created a large wrinkle though. Not too long after the purchase date, both of the items needed to be repaired. We called and were immediately told that we were outside of our warrantee. When we said that we were looking at the paperwork and read off the purchase date, they were like, oh, yeah, I see that now. We explained what needed to be repaired and they said it wasn't covered. We said we were looking at the warrantee and it stated that it was covered. She said that they couldn't repair anything because they don't make our furniture anymore. So even though what we needed repaired was covered and we were within the warrantee's allotted coverage time, they couldn't do anything.
