(This is, after all, the Jersey shore!) I saw shiny aluminum dishes (or maybe they were ashtrays) shaped like life-sized flip-flop sandals, and carved wooden "bathing beauties" painted with vintage bathing suits. There were cast iron hooks shaped like lighthouses and shells. There was a lot of "faux food"--I guess you're supposed to put a fake cake or pie on your un-used dining room table, though I'd always rather consider a REAL cake or pie. I spent approximately $4,200 dollars at the store. I bought a mattress, couches, ottoman. I cant even tell you how disgraced I feel by Ashley Furniture as a whole. I wanted to ask if this was their first day on the job. It also seems like every finish is "rustic", aka "natural", aka - if they had to finish the table correctly, it would likely not work and not sell. Twenty minutes later on comes Carolyn and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Brielle has an excellent selection at different price points. Delivery was outstanding. The delivery guys were very professional. They put felt covers on all the feet before placing on the hard wood floors. Stayed to make sure we were satisfied and moved a couple pieces for us before they left. This is our second time using Brielle and each time they went beyond expectations!

They do not take care of their customers when it comes to warranties I have been doing nothing but calling them once a week for them to call me back on my mother's phone instead of calling me back on the phone number I provided. There is no email to get somebody to email you back. I just need to speak to a live person. Also I had one repair done a few months ago. The job is terrible. It was not the right color paint. It looks horrible now I'm supposed to exchange it, but they will only do the table and not the chairs. Meanwhile, they did the work on both the chairs and the table SO - do not buy the protection plan because it's more of a headache than just going out to buy another piece of furniture from a different department store. Tess, if that indeed was Tess, (I did not inquire), spent time showing me some of the chalk painting techniques that she uses. Offered advice freely and in a very friendly manner.
