Purchased a 65" LG TV here in Dec 2024. TV was mounted to the wall in my living room. Unfortunately the TV came crashing off the wall one Sunday morning at 4:45am. P.C. Richards quickly came to access the damage and quickly installed a replacement TV as well as payed for my painter's fee to repair the wall. They even refunded the installation fee of the mounting bracket. All involved were beyond helpful and kept me informed of the status of my claim during the process. I have purchased all of my audio / video equipment with P.C. Richards for over 40 years in Brooklyn, The Bronx and now Ocean County NJ. I will always be a loyal P.C. Bought washing machine for delivery Friday between 9 &5. Upon arrival the tech said he couldn't complete the install because I needed a knob on the hot water value. I called pc Richards immediately to make sure they sent him back today before 5 that I had and installed the new knob. Don't buy from this company. Bought an LG fridge 3 years ago and now the compressor is already broke. Called for an EMERGENCY SERVICE and it took them a week to get a tech here. The guy finally gets here, takes a fucking picture and leaves. Not to mention the tech was rude as fuck. Made us wait 4 hours for him to be here for 2 minutes. This is how your company handles emergencies?? We already lost $1,000 in food, bags of ice, and now we have to pay $200 for a service call when the guy didn't do shit and apparently $600 for a part when we were told we had a warranty. Now it'll be over a week and we still don't have a fucking fridge. Thanks for nothing. I will never buy a product from here again, let alone an LG fridge, and I will make sure NO ONE buys from this ridiculous company. read more

Purchased LG washer & dryer 12/9/22. Receipt states items would be delivered in 3 weeks. 6 weeks later they finally were delivered. Paid for delivery & installation & the delivery guys did hook up the machines however the dryer door needed to be reversed. As of now I need to reach over the door to load laundry into dryer. Did not notice this until after delivery guys left as they had machines running & advised me to let them complete cycle. Reached out to PC Richards & was told that it's an additional $50 to reverse the door. I have purchased 3 dryers in the last 30 years from Home Depot & install charge ALWAYS included the door opening to whichever side necessary. This place is just the worst appliance store. When I replace my kitchen appliances I'll go back to Home Depot. read more

In these corona times, what's one of the worst things that can happen. Well maybe not the worst, but my fridge (which came with the house I bought & was no longer under warranty) completely broke and everything I had in there went bad. I called the manufacturer and basically they told me I was out of luck unless I wanted to pay hundreds of dollars. Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend, I went to PC Richards in Brick and Jason really hooked me up. Their process was so seamless and really applied to all no contact rules that were put in place. He ended up getting me a wonderful deal on a beautiful Samsung fridge with warranty and installation. I had to change my delivery date due to a conflict and the folks at the store made this change incredibly easy! The delivery guys were speedy, explained the new features, removed my sliding doors and reinstalled them. As well as they were both in masks. It's now fully installed, has so much more room than my old one. I will be back for the rest of my electric needs. read more

Well I was given a time frame for delivery for appliances sometime between 1:30 and 4:30. At 4:45 I called the store and was told that it was now going to be delivered between 5:30 and 6:00. I told the person I was speaking to it was bad customer service not to let a person know about the change. He said they should have called but things happen. What kind of answer is that! After researching several stores to purchase a "kitchen appliance package" I decided PC Richard was the place to go because they are firstly an appliance dealer anyway, as opposed to HD, Lowes, BestBuy, Walmart etc. etc. I perused the appliance dept for a good 20 minutes unbothered by store employees, which I was happy for; I wanted to look at and "feel" the appliances myself without any persuasion or coaxing from salesmen. When it was time to make my purchase I got excellent and knowledgeable assistance from Art. Art took his time and explained the differences between models and manufacturers. When it was time to "pay up" I felt the price was a bit high and the bargaining began! Well, Art and then the manager Jason did everything possible to knock the price down to "my" affordable zone. My elderly parents (77 and 84) found themselves in need of a washer-dryer during the pandemic and they insisted on not waiting for me and going to get one themselves. My Dad has some serious mobility issues and the staff here went above and beyond to make them feel safe and comfortable. Thank you to everyone who provided Dad a wheelchair, took him around, helped them back to the car and made them feel secure and safe the whole time while your staff wore masks and did their best to distance (except when you were lifting the old fat guy out of the wheelchair...). Mom said that no one thought twice about helping and she just couldn't thank you enough. I researched the internet for a Weber Natural Gas Barbeque and learned that Weber doesn't allow individual stores to discount their brand as prices are regulated by the Weber Company. So..., P.C. Richards has a 30 day price guarantee which I found reassuring that I get the best price protection anyway. Free assembly and delivery was also included in the price so the decision was made to purchase at P.C. Richards. Everything went perfect and smooth, ordering online was super easy and you even pick your own delivery date! They update with a time frame the day before delivery and were exactly on time. Grill came assembled wrapped in plastic only and all the manuals were inside. Delivery guys put grill where you would like too. The whole deal was super easy and exceeded my expectations. I call main office and because security reason they won't give my husband the item. So, i'm posting here. The Wall store lost our online order. I was able, on my own, to rectify the situation. The guy on the phone was VERY nice, but unable to correct the error for me. I'm a longtime customer of 2 stores of theirs in Central NJ. Purchased all new major kitchen appliances. Delivery and haul away was included. When the delivery people attempted to take the old fridge out, they snapped the water line causing water to leak into my basement and all over my kitchen. The delivery people started screaming and in language we didn't understand and frantically running around our house. It scared my 3 year old son so much that he has been talking about it everyday for over a month. After they got that under control, they broke lights in my kitchen while removing the old fridge. They left the broken glass all over the kitchen table, floor, and in my children's bibs. While bringing the new refrigerator in, they stopped to adjust it on the hand truck and shattered a ceramic tile in the middle of my kitchen floor. They denied that they hit the light and tried to deny that they broke the tile but I stopped them right away and pointed out the damage. They made a note of it on their delivery receipt. They also left a trail of water, dirt, and broken glass through my house which my wife and I had to spend over an hour cleaning. Their representative that I was told to contact told me to put a piece of wood over the shattered tile so my 3 year old son, 6 month old daughter, wife and dog would not get hurt. I have done everything they have asked and they are still giving me the run around a month later. I am appalled at the disregard they have shown for the safety of a customer who has bought at least 12 major appliances from them. Do Better. read more

P.C. Richard has earned our business on a permanent basis. Their customer service is excellent and the fact that they repair what they sell, as opposed to subcontracting it to a smaller company (who's turnaround could be weeks!)sets them apart from any other appliance store in Brick. Whirlpool Refrigerator two years old, freezer quit. One month out and PC Richards and Whirlpool not concerned because Whirlpool thinks their product is the concern of PC Richards and PC Richards can't get the part they need. I can purchase a dorm size fridge from them in the interim which does nothing to resolve the problem. PC Richards after calls to managers and service are helpless and have no idea how to resolve my problem Purchased extended warranty through PC Richards for Whirlpool so Whirlpool can't help. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND USING PC RICHARDS TO ANYONE EVER. I purchased a new oven the prior to July 4th 2020 - the oven was installed a few days after July 4th and the delivery installation team scratched my brand new floors when "sliding" my new oven into place and not even covering or protecting the Floor!!!! Then I noticed that the oven was off and in fact the frame was bent but the delivery team fought me and insisted it was correct. It was not and I had to wait another7-8 business days for a redelivery. I spoke with my customer sales rep and his supervisor regarding the issue and was directed toward the claims department. I was told since PC Richards outsources it's delivery service to 3rd party companies it is not responsible for the damage but they would contact the owner of the delivery company Danny and he would be in touch. I have costed with a flooring vendor what the costs will be to repair my floors damaged by PCRichards and sent this onto the claims department. I called on 7/16 and spoke with Diane who assured me it would be 3 business days and gave me an email to send my quote and photos of the damages - which I did and received NO RESPONSE, I followed up ton 7/28 and was promised a call back - NO ONE CALLED - I called again on 8/6 - was put on hold for 30minutes and then disconnected. I was able to connect with the damage claims Manager Tony on 8/12 via email and I again emailed requesting to speak on 8/24 and 9/28 and NO ONE HAS CALLED ME to resolve this issue - they are hoping I give up and they do not have to pay but these most unacceptable business practices I have ever experienced. It is not November 9th I was on hold again this morning only to be hung up on again and I will call back - their delivery company ruined my floors and does not want to be held accountable - they don't care they made their sale - that is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Went to many stores before coming to PC Richards and finding the perfect desk and desk chair. ALAS! Our search was soon to be over. The sales rep then went to the back and informed us that they did not have the desk the chair or the other desk we were interested in. Not only that, but we couldn't have them ordered either. No where did it say "display only". But how can you display only 2 desks and 3 chairs and not have any of them in stock?? Frustrated. read more
