(This is, after all, the Jersey shore!) I saw shiny aluminum dishes (or maybe they were ashtrays) shaped like life-sized flip-flop sandals, and carved wooden "bathing beauties" painted with vintage bathing suits. There were cast iron hooks shaped like lighthouses and shells. There was a lot of "faux food"--I guess you're supposed to put a fake cake or pie on your un-used dining room table, though I'd always rather consider a REAL cake or pie. There was quite a range of fabric samples to be chosen for upholstery on the furniture offerings. I paid for a warranty and im still covered under the warranty. The Last month I have spent calling the brick location, corporate, the manufacturer of the frame, so on and so forth. I have had horrible customer service. I have been hung up on, not gotten back to, sent to call the same phone number over 3 times. The day I bought the adjustable frame. I spent approximately $4,200 dollars at the store. I bought a mattress, couches, ottoman. I cant even tell you how disgraced I feel by Ashley Furniture as a whole. I have sent a complaint through the BBB and at this point it feels as if nothing is going to actually happen. I wanted to ask if this was their first day on the job. It also seems like every finish is "rustic", aka "natural", aka - if they had to finish the table correctly, it would likely not work and not sell. They took every precaution not to damage anything during the delivery. They even added felt to the bottoms of all my furniture to avoid scratches. Two small swatches compared to two larger chairs we ordered makes a significant difference in a room. Again, I requested a swatch from TK and just weeks later received the Chairs in a different dye lot. I was told they do not update swatches....Really, for that price range.... That is unacceptable, lazy and negligent. As I suggested, why not send a swatch from the fabric they are using..... How difficult can that be???? Shame to lose business for such a simple fix. I would have seen the difference.
