Literally the worst experience ever on Sunday January 27, 2023. There was an employee by the name of Patty who had her cart in the way. I simply moved it about 6 inches and was going to put it back as she got in my face and asked me why I was so rude. I was confused and did not understand why. Then she proceeded with a statement "what if I moved your cart? Would you be happy?" I simply said if my cart was in the way I would not mind you moving it out of the way mam. It's not like I pushed your cart all the way down the aisle. She then followed me to my cart and pushed my cart into a friend that was holding it and looked at him in the eyes and asked if he liked it as she aggressively pushed it against him. Which he was also confused. Keep in mind we're both law enforcement and kept our chill. My fiancée then asked if she was okay and why was she acting this way. She then yelled at her "YOU SHUT UP!" I reached out to management and they said this happens every so often. Which had me more confused. I reached out to corporate and they said they will do something about it which I highly doubt. I would stay away from this store and shop somewhere else. I will not return and take my hard earned money elsewhere. When I was at Walmart yesterday, I was looking for a particular item and asked one of the employees if they possibly carried it. She suggested I look in a few different departments where I might be able to find it and even took me over to help me look. I did finally locate the item after much searching. I shop at this Walmart twice a month for large grocery purchases for a family of 4. My biggest grip is have more people with keys to unlock items for clients in a timely manner. Every time I have to buy nicotine gum or my creatine powder it literally takes me up to an hour to get these items out of the lock boxes. Quirkiest was about 20 minutes. Those buttons you have don't work! God forbid you ask anyone at the cosmetic desk. I asked Danielle, who was work at the cosmetic counter if she had keys or could she get me someone to open the lock boxes. Daniele who might be the rudest person I've meet in a long time in customer service, replied to both questions with a no and then she immediate started talking to another client. It only takes a few minutes to be a nice human being but I think she acts like that every minute of everyday. I've been lied to-oh yeah the pharmacy has keys-nope they don't. I finally got a young lady(I forget her name) to help me, I told her about Danielle and she stated yeah I hear that a lot. ‍ why have someone help people that is clearly not a people person. Walmart pick up Banning. Accused of lying, ignored and told to go home. Was informed by an associate over the phone I could pick up my groceries by 7:45. Checked in on my cell phone before arriving. Parked in designated pick up spot at 7:45. Called pick up number no answer. The cars next to me were being helped by a service worker. The service worker did not assist me. Waited for 20 minutes. Knocked on the door. The staff insisted I was not parked in the correct place. I showed them my car parked in numbered stall for pick up. LONGEST LINES EVER! I swear, it doesn't matter what time you go in this store - it's like they only have ONE cashier with some of the longest waiting lines ever. Even the self-check out takes a while sometimes. The deli is subpar - very small selection. Produce selection isn't that bad, and it's actually fairly organized and clean. Just a typical Walmart, nothing special about it. Clean most of the time.. During the rain, I guess their roofs leak so they'll have buckets scattered around the store collecting the rain droplets. But I swear, their lines are the absolute worst. You can walk in the store to grab something quick - have it be like a 5 minute store run and it will take you like 15 minutes, 1 minute to get your thing and the rest of the time is being spent in line. There are few places in the Beaumont/ Banning area that have both grocery and taxable items. That being said Walmart is fine for both. Reason behind my review is they no longer price match to their website. Maybe this location is under review due to the amount of theft I've seen them experience but how is that fair to loyal customers. Multiple employees giving different answers as to why they all of a sudden cannot price match to Walmart.com- items sold and shipped by walmart. Instead of a clear cut understanding, half the staff is "afraid" to help even when using the service counter. Not a manager or lead in site to help issues. So instead of keeping loyal customers they're avoiding anyone paying anything other than full price. Disappointing to say the least. I hope we get a target at this point. read more

Walmart has some heavy training to do on customer service. The experience at this Walmart has been very negative each time I decide to shop here. I never get the things I need because I can never get assistance. Today, I needed items for my son's video making, but when I asked to get a locked item, the staff cut me off mid sentence. I asked for assistance in another department and the staff didn't even look at me. I don't shop here normally and each time I do I am reminded why. However, it's not just the staff because I believe it is the responsibility of the manager. I did speak with a manager and his response was very condescending. He explained his responses are because he is the manager and has been for 14 years. I guess Walmart is in dire need of leaders and not Managers and people that know the difference. I will never shop here again. I'm sure there are great people employed here that are from my community, but I value being the customer and having a customer experience that makes me feel good to support organizations in my community. I went to get an oil change today before work. They advertise that they open at 7am I was there at exactly 7am. I was the only one there, the doors were open but no one was insight. I placed a pick up order for this location. I got a email saying it was ready. When I got there I waited 30-40mins before an employee came to my window and said they were force canceling all of the orders because they were behind. I told the employee that I had received an email stating my order was ready and he said he would check. Another 40mins later and a different employee came to my window to get my name and said they were making a list to see who was actually still in the pick up spaces. 20mins later they came back and said they didn't have my order. Mind you I had also gotten another email to remind me my order was ready while I was sitting in the parking lot. The employee also then told me that I had to call corporate to cancel the order so that I wouldn't be charged. So not only do they not care about their customers, they straight lied to my face. This is so ridiculous . . . . . but for some reason, the walmart.com site refuses to update it's "in stock" database with what's actually in stores. And if that isn't bad enough, good luck trying to speak to somebody in the store to answer questions about what is or isn't available. I live in Jurupa Valley, and a few days ago walmart.com told me Scott's Weed & feed fertilizer (usually sold for $20+) was available for $5 at their Beaumont location. It wasn't available for online purchase + pick up in store, because that would make it too easy on the customer, and the only way to get it is to come in person at this exact location which was 42 miles away from my house. So like any sane human, i tried calling this walmart first to see if someone could tell me if this fertilizer was ACTUALLY in stock, and if it was actually $5 a bag. I called in the morning an hour after they opened, and no one answered. I called a little later when i went to work, and the operator finally answered and when i asked to speak to gardening, they transferred me to a phone that rang and rang but no one answered. I called again a few minutes later, same story. I must've tried 10 times over the course of 2-3 days. Then today, i finally tried to call and see if the information on walmart.com was really accurate. Operator picked up, transferred to gardening, and STILL no answer, and each time i called back the operator seemed surprised that not a single person in gardening was available to answer the phone. I finally decided to just drive to this location, which took me an 1hr and 3 min. I get there a little after 6pm, and the entire gardening section was a ghost town, not a single employee as far as the eye could see. I looked around for my $5 fertilizer and couldn't find a single bag even though the website was still claiming it was available. I gave up and started walking back to my car. About a hundred yards away from the gardening section, very close to the entrance, i found an employee with a cart in one of the aisles. I didn't see anyone else around, so i asked him about the Outdoors section and he said "Oh, that's my area". I showed him the page on walmart.com that showed that my item was in stock here, and he said it hadn't been updated to show their current inventory. Finally, I asked why nobody in this walmart's Outdoor dept ever answers the phone when i call, and he smiled and said "I don't know who you called, but if you had called the gardening dept phone, i would've answered". It finally made sense why all those times nobody ever picked up the phone when i tried calling. This guy was so dumb, he thought he could work in another section of the store, far removed from the gardening dept and still hear / answer the phone at the counter whenever it rings. And if he never heard it ring? Well, that just means nobody was calling, obviously. I don't know how much walmart employees make, but if it's anything above a half eaten sandwich and a can of soda, then walmart is paying them too much. read more

on 7/3 I became ill and dizzy standing in line at the self checkout. I needed to sit down or I was going to faint. The lady in charge of that line helped me. She sat me down at the bags and scanned my items for me and helped me get everything processed. She offered to get someone to help me to the car but I was able to do it myself. I did not get her name but I appreciate her so much. In saying this I do wish there were some benches throughout the store so we old folks that shop there had a place to stop and rest. Ordered pickup order at 2pm, got notified at 6pm that order would be delayed up to 2 hours with no indication that pickup closes at 8. Call at 10 because we got no notice of our order status, advised by random team member that pick up is closed and our order cannot be addressed. Go to cancel order and it appears the pickup had never started as we were able to confirm cancelation instantly. In 8 hours (1 whole shift) they weren't able to complete or even communicate status of an order we should've just completed at food4less in about an hour? Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Some people should not EVER be managers. In this case the assistant manager Dale came over to assist an ongoing and constant problem with their online purchasing and pick ups department. I had personal requested the manager. The associate had done all he could up to that point. It was time for a manager to take over. But no.. That's not how they are trained over at the Beaumont Walmart on 2nd Street. I had asked both the associate and the assistant manager to let the manager handle the situation. I've been in hospitality management for almost 25 years. At this point there was nothing the associate could do to fix the matter. But the assistant manager Dale Never took over the situation. Dale allowed the associate to continue to antagonize me for 10 minutes and tell me I was wrong about my account being charged. Tell me I am wrong about the number of items I ordered. The associate continued to try and shake my hand three times after me telling him, " at this point I'm not here to make friends" all I want to do is feed my dog as I repeated.... Can I resolve this with the manager? I even stated that the associate wasn't even wearing a name tag and I still don't know his name. Well the end result was..... I'm a 45 year old responsible adult. I didn't take to kindly of the way the associate continued to antagonize me, continue to try and explain, continue to tell me I was wrong. After 10 minutes, it got old and I lost my cool. I proceeded to tell him to STFU in a derogatory way. I was completely out of line and ashamed. Then the assistant manager Dale conveniently decided to finally speak up and yell at me to Get The Fuck Out! The associate in the background assisting with pick ups also followed me out the store to ask me who the Fuck I think I am. He should have minded his own business. When I was asked to leave. I turned around and left without any confrontation or comment at all. I even left the store as they refused to give me items I purchased from in the store. I didn't realize it was policy for associates to follow paying customers out the door cursing at them. It may not be policy but it surely is acceptable behavior by their associates. I was called by corporate and welcomed back into the store with a $25 gift card for the troubles regarding my order. As I was talking to an associate about an item search, the antagonizing associate who doesn't have to wear a name badge came up from behind me to say...... "uh ohhh, what's up brother?" And I politely replied "what's up" as he went through the double doors by the meat department. After he did so, I felt like I was the main event at a three ring circus. Three employees stood and stared at me as if I was doing something wrong and something good was about to happen. So the unnamed associate couldn't just drop things. He had to push the envelope even more and get me kicked out of the store again. This time, I left without saying anything rude. I made it clear to security that I was just invited back into the store by corporate office. I had no problems with anyone except Dale and the management experience he lacks! This entire situation could have been avoided with simple hospitality management 101... I have never been kicked out of or asked to leave any establishment in my entire life. The associate obviously wasn't talked to or he wouldn't have felt so entitled to talk to me again. He should have kept his mouth shut and minded his own business. I had my back turned and I was asking an Associate about a bakery item. That's it!!!! How come other stores will take stuff back even without a receipt but this place will give you shit even if you have a receipt and all the tags are attached? Auto Center-- horrible. I ordered 4 new tires. Was schedule for installation and when I got there, I was told only 3 tires came in. OKay, I understand I guess. Called back 2 days, still no tires. Called back another 2 days after, no tire yet. What really pissed me off is not able to get a hold of them and having to be on hold for long time. Finally after a week from initial schedule my tire came in. Took it in to replace, had to wait 10-15 min before some came to my window. Already not happy. Okay now finally got my tires replaced, but my tire pressure light was on. As to some car with new tire replacement, the tire light will come on until driven for a few hundred feet. I live 5 miles away going on freeway. The light was on the whole way home. Doesn't seem right. Got home and further inspected to find out that front right tire was only pumped to 25psi. Couldve caused more damaged or can be a lot worst. Checked all of my lugs to make sure they tighten properly too. Do not recommend. read more
