Impossible to get help from employees. My husband and I stood by a locked box with pet shampoos and medicine in it for 20 minutes waiting for someone to open it for us. Spoke with over 8 workers and none took the time to find someone with a key, even when they said someone was coming. I had a pharmacy employee stick her ENTIRE HEAD inside my car, during the pandemic, when she delivered my medication she in the parking lot. A few days later, I was diagnosed with viral pneumonia. I was sick for weeks! I couldn't get help in the fabric area, so (after years of this treatment) I picked up their phone myself, dialed the pharmacy, and asked them to send someone to help me. It worked! ;) Most of the employees here ARE trying pretty hard. I saw a teenage guy faint behind the counter. But the store isn't managed well, and some of the customers are beyond shady. It's basically the sixth circle of hell, because their are always long lines, as they refuse to staff the clerk checkouts properly. I placed a delivery order yesterday to be delivered yesterday 7/17/22. My order never came it is now 3:08 pm 7/18/22 and my order still says delayed. I've called the phone gets disconnected. I called the help department and all they say is they are slammed high volume blah expect your order by the end of the day. the last time I placed a pick up order and I sat in the parking lot for a very long time. My thing is if you guys are short staffed or whatever the case is put a stop on the website where no more orders can be placed for that day if service or push it out until they get caught up. I kept away from this Walmart for a year and a half because it had, hands down, the worst customer service of any WalMart I've ever been in. A friend talked me into giving it another try. I went once and it was not horrible, with empty spots on the shelves and checkout lines that were too long. Today I went back to see if this store had really elevated itself to 2 stars. Nope. I needed to return a WalMart-brand product that was subpar. Even with very low expectations, I was shocked to see how long the line for Customer Service was. At least 20 people. So I went to leave. At the exit on both visits, the greeter wanted you to prove you're not a thief by comparing your receipt to the items in your basket. What - they're not frisking people? I don't like anyone assuming I'm a thief, so I just walked by and no one said a thing. So this security effort is both ineffective and degrading. If I really need to go to a WalMart, I'll drive far out of my way to go to a different location. read more

Walmart. What more can I say? I've been to this one a few times. Each time there's always a lack of cashiers & an overall messiness to the store. I don't shop Walmart a lot, but when I stop here, I notice that the place looks just messy. I don't know if they don't have people that clean the floors at night or what, but it looks dirty. The items on the selves are always disheveled. I don't think they've got enough employees to clean up the aisles. The lawn & garden didn't have that much in the way of plants. One of my favorite Walmarts. It is much larger than the one nearest to my home. I know many people say Walmart is Walmart..well YES it is..and one of the BEST things about Walmart is NO MATTER where you may be in the United States, all Walmart stores are laid out the same way (some via reverse) but mainly ALL THE SAME..so you know EXACTLY where to go when you are shopping or in a hurry.. Horrible customer service from the manager. Had a concern about the material in the crafts department, pressed the help button no one came, after ten minutes went up front to pay. There I was told I had to go back and get it cut and measured. I explained no one was there doing their job and I pressed the button multiple times. She did not care and was no help so I paid for the things I had in my buggy and went back to the crafts department to wait another 30 minutes. Even had multiple staff try to help with no luck. Ultimately had to call the store my self three times to get them to page for some one. I will never shop here again read more

I wish I could leave zero stars. This is the worst place on Earth. The staff is horrible and rude. The management is a joke. They probably won't have what you need and you won't be able to find anyone to help you. They only have one, if any, checkout lanes. You will more than likely have to use self check out after waiting in line for at least half an hour. They will also treat you like you are stealing, as if they do not trust you to do the job of a cashier. If they do not trust people to do the job that they never applied for then they need to hire cashiers. I do not stop to speak with the "receipt checker" as it is not required. It is simply not the job of the customer to comply with your incompetence in managing the store. I'm surprised this store is still open. Beware! Do not give this store your business. I have opened an ethics case for discrimination. The manager and customer overall by everyone I interacted with was disrespectful and the experience was humiliating. They lied to my face and said they have a policy to review footage of any return over $20. However I saw person after person next to me returning items with no review of footage. I had a receipt they didn't even try to scan before they assumed I was stealing. It was a horrifying experience for my daughter, which left her scared and confused. I had to have a very unfortunate conversation with her about people not always getting the privilege of innocent until proven guilty. We were assumed guilty until proven innocent. Dirty, unorganized, hell hole. The Grocery shelves are perpetually empty and no one working the floor speaks English.

Terrible. First, the lines are always ridiculously long. I had hoped the installation of self-checkout kiosks would resolve some of the waits, but they really haven't. It is difficult also to find help. During a recent visit, my 3 children and I ate in the McDonald's in the store. There were three Walmart employees on break and were cussing non-stop. I could not find a manager to take control of the situation. When I notified Walmart CS via online, they told me to return to the store and seek out a "salaried employee." Will NEVER return. Purchased a movie out of the $3.74. Bin. It was "A Christmas Story 2" Walked out of the story realized I had meant to buy the first one. Walked back in for a return. I arrived to the Walmart Auto Center at exactly 12:50. I got to the receptionist at 1 asking for a headlight restoration. They told me the wait was 2 hours, which was fine because they were busy. I ended up waiting 4 hours and they finally told me they accidentally skipped over my car because the guy that does headlights does it Monday-Thursday. This really pissed me off because I waited so long and I was only in town for Labor Day weekend (I go to college in another city). I wasted 4 hours of my short weekend for nothing and they didn't even compensate me for anything. The guy (Anthony) got a smart mouth when I was upset about the situation. What do you expect? I love this Walmart!! All of these pesky complaints are just that.... pesky. All stores have some empty shelves because customers like those products and just so happen to get there before the complainers. Also, for those of you that return item should check the website for the rules regarding returns. They are different for some items and departments just like other major chains. Just because you want to exchange it, doesn't mean the customer service person can risk losing his or her job to please you when they have rules to follow. How do I know these things? Because I have been in all of your shoes and I never griped because I didn't get my way. Also, I worked on a complaint department and received real complaints. Sometimes these ratings are not fair to the store or the employees. It was stated that it is in a low income area. Unfortunately that is why the security has to check people and those who let some go by are probably afraid of sites like this. I always offer my receipt to the greeters and security to help them and that way I don't feel like I am targeted and I make their jobs easier and less stressful. Granted I don't live in this area but when I come to Antioch, which is often, I love coming here. The people are friendly so maybe we customers ought to be a little more friendly. No matter what kind of day we are having. I never liked getting yelled at so I make sure I don't yell at people who are trying to help me. My suggestion is if you think check out is slow at night then go earlier in the day or afternoon. All Walmarts have limited staff after certain times at night. Believe me, here where I live I have 3 to chose from depending the direction I am going and all of them close registers down and have less staff scheduled at night. Well I have to write an update for this miserable pit. I had the option of filling out a survey this time, but there was no option to enter comments. So I had nowhere to tell anyone that I waited in line for 41 minutes. FORTY ONE MINUTES! That is ridiculous! How does that even happen?! I went much later than I ever run errands. I found out late that there had been a family emergency and I was going to have to leave town first thing in the morning, so I went to Walmart about 10:30 Saturday night. Don't do that. Seriously. Don't. I did all my shopping and when I turned the corner from the grocery area, seriously considered leaving my buggy there and walking out. Had it not been for the family issue, I would have. And felt great about doing it. There were two registers open, both in the middle of the gigantic row of registers. The line I first ran into curved back from the register, past cosmetics, and into grocery. I got in that line and tried to see how far the other line went. It curved just as far in the other direction. Fabulous. I've always wanted to pull an all-nighter at the Walmart. In order to spare you a long-winded diatribe, I'll make a long story short: I waited in line for 41 minutes; a gentleman in line behind me went and found a manager who said there were two lines open and that was good enough; when I finally got to the register the cashier inexplicably stood there for four minutes (I looked at my phone) without ringing any of my items and without telling me why; once my order was fully rung up but before the sale had been finalized, someone else walked up to the register and voided the transaction for no discernible reason and it had to be re-rung from the beginning. Once again, I understand that this is Walmart. I'm not expecting Nordstrom-level customer service when I go in here. However, I would like to be treated with respect. The way customers are treated at this particular store is a little extreme. I've been to a lot of Walmart stores in a lot of places in a lot of states (and countries) and this is by far the worst I've ever been in. Diatribe over. Thanks for listening :) read more

Just getting in the store is just a chore. The parking lot traffic goes in forever! I have chosen to go across the street to Public's instead.
