For years my whole family has shopped here for the seasonal sales, but now will never shop at a Dillard's again. We bought a pair of kids Sketchers shoes, ones which light up when the kid walks. Well, our kid wore the shoes for NO MORE THAN 2 HOURS before the lights stopped working. So we tried to return the shoes to Dillard's the very next day. The staff refused to take the shoes back because they had been worn. We explained the issue was not wear, but rather defective lights (obviously). We even asked for the manager, but the manager also refused to take back the defective shoes. The manager should be fired immediately. Choosing to bicker over $40 shoes, and losing an entire family of shoppers FOR LIFE. How extraordinarily stupid. We will take our business elsewhere. All for the best - Nowhere else have I ever experienced such rude staff, and such a filthy store.

I returned an item today 3/21/26 in the men's department. I told her I wasn't in a rush that she could take her time and then once the transaction was finished, she said absolutely nothing to me turned back to the computer. She wasn't wearing a name tag so I didn't catch her name, but she was African-American, short, curly hair with a pink blazer. Really poor customer service.

The daughter loves the simplicity and quality of their clothing, so in we went. The store is clean and organized. I really liked the large comfy seating area. We headed straight to the sale section and were quite impressed by the selection. Each item was tagged with the percentage off. This was really nice as it avoids any confusion at the register. There were only a couple customers at check out but a lovely young lady quickly came over to help us. She was so sweet to engage in conversation and show genuine interest in what we were talking about. While finalizing our purchase, a young man came over to wrap our items neatly in branded tissue paper and place them in a shopping bag. Lovely experience at this Aritzia location! When I visited the store on a Saturday, I was told there was a "clientele" sale happening. I selected a few items and went to check out, only to be charged full price. When I asked about the sale, the associate at the register said she "didn't know" about it--despite it being a storewide promotion. She eventually adjusted the price, but I found it odd and unprofessional that she wasn't aware of an active sale. I couldn't try the items on that day, so I brought them home. They didn't work out, so I returned to the store the next morning. When I went to return them, I was told it would be store credit only. That was never communicated to me during checkout. Had I known, I wouldn't have gone through with the purchase--especially after spending over $200. The associate who handled my return was kind enough to refund to the original method, which I appreciated. However, when she told me the refund amount, it was less than expected. I questioned it and was told, with a snarky attitude, that she was "sure"--only to realize later she overlooked that I had two items. Both visits left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. It's this kind of disorganized and dismissive experience that makes me want to avoid stores like this altogether.
