My visit on February 15, 2026 was overshadowed by an interaction with Michele, who appeared to be acting in a managerial role. A customer had approximately 45+ items in the clearly marked "10 items or less" express lane. When I politely pointed this out, Michele did not attempt to resolve the situation or enforce store policy. Instead, she repeatedly dismissed me with "that's enough" and "it's okay," spoke about me to others while I was standing there, and when I asked her to repeat the comment she replied, "I wasn't talking to you." Rather than de-escalating, Michele's tone and behavior escalated the situation and created a hostile, uncomfortable experience. This is not the level of professionalism or customer service expected from someone in a leadership position. Very disappointing interaction. I have also contacted corporate regarding this incident and am waiting for follow-up. read more

I recently became aware of a new employee working the registers, service desk and self check. The lady has a tendency to walk around with her smart phone in her hand and checking it continually. By doing so I noticed that she is not giving customers necessary attention and when she does she just turns and walks away. I am unaccustomed to this at Publix. The employees generally greets one with a smile and is friendly and pleasant. This person does none of those. She seems a bit gruff. I hope this is not a new trend at this store. If I wanted to be treated that way I'd just go across the street. read more

Ive been coming to this Publix for years and I have received 5 star customer service each visit. shelves are always stocked and products neatly faced. However, today a customer brought a small dog into the bakery area of the store. This was very upsetting, if you want dogs in your kitchen at home that's your business but not where I'm purchasing my fresh made foods. The non service animal policy must be enforced! read more

Yet another great Publix experience! I went shopping on Monday and while I was there I picked up some bread from the bakery, not really noticing it was a little darker then normal. When I got home and made a sandwich, I realized that the bread was slightly over baked...I had to go back to Publix today, so I went ahead and took the bread with me. I didn't have the receipt anymore, but I figured worst case scenario they wouldn't exchange it and I just lost $2 and some change... When I walked in I went straight to the customer service counter and spoke with Jodi, explaining the situation but letting her know I didn't have my receipt. She said it was no problem, just to grab another back to replace them! So that's what I did, and when I went back to the counter I asked her if I needed to keep it at the counter with her while I shopped and she reassured me that wasn't necessary and if anyone had a question just tell them Jodi took care of it for me! Big thanks to Jodi, it was such a small thing, but just one of a million reasons I LOVE shopping at Publix and will go out of my way to get there over other grocery stores that are slightly close to my house!! Just a side note...people say that Publix is over priced, I don't agree, HOWEVER, even if they were, I would be willing to pay more to shop her over Kroger or Walmart because the stores are WAY CLEANER and the employees ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL and HAPPY TO BE THERE!! read more

This honestly the first Publix I ever frequented and now it's my go to place. If I am in need of something quick, I tend to go here due to now having to deal with the Walmart craziness. Items are a bit overpriced when compared to other stores, but what they offer and the coupons they have sometimes negates that. The staff is usually very nice a new helpful. They do offer a deli and seafood area where you can get sandwiches or take home seafood bags made. read more

It truly is a pleasure shopping at Publix. Normally I shop at Kroger's, but this location is just as convient to my home. Customer service is excellent, and the store is exceptionally clean. I love the ability to have digital coupons, in which they often have free items available (great way to try brands that you may not have considered). This is slowly becoming my new go to grocery store...Now if only I can actually plan my shopping trips a little bit better, lol. read more

My go to grocery store. Always very friendly staff most have learned my daughter's name and they always tell her hi. Great prices and more importantly very clean and if you can't find something an employee will stop what they are doing and walk you to the item and even help you pick out the right thing if you need that. read more

LOVE!!! this store, the staff is always friendly and willing to help with questions or just finding something on a shelf. The fruit and vegetables dept is always fresh and has a great selection. The deli makes some of the best fried chicken I have ever had and you can even call in and ask for extra crispy and they will have it ready. The meat dept goes beyond when you want some specific that is not in the case. They also frequently have BOGO offers on things you actually need or want. If you shop somewhere else your doing yourself an injustice. read more

I love Publix but this Antioch location is the pits. There's an older man who works at the 'customer service' desk has on multiple occasions been rude or "unable to help" due to x, y, or z. Today he couldn't help me because he was running something on his workstation. Not that he couldn't help me in 2 minutes - he just couldn't help me. What a jerk. Hands down the best customer service in the city. Everyone is very friendly and will go out of their way to help. I've had people working there stop their job just to walk me to a correct aisle and make sure I found what I needed. I had others go look in the stockroom for items and bring them to me. They may be a bit pricey on some items, but they accept coupons and you can't beat their BOGO free deals or the buy one get one 1/2 off. I find unique items there and they have a butcher that will slice and dice items however you want them, even if they are already packaged. I love the quaint friendly neighborhood store! read more

Their deli/sandwich department is soooooo slow!!!!! We waited at least 20 min to be serves with only 1 person in front of us. There was an additional employee there but he seemed to only be able to help people who wanted fried chicken. He saw us standing in line and never once offered to help us. Horrid customer service!!!! We ended up leaving after standing in line for almost 30 minutes. My husband said this happened to him the last time he went there too! So called top sirloin at publix didn't taste like it Chewy, rubbery no taste purchased several packages they were $3.99 pound I really didn't think it was a steak or maybe bottom sirloin sold as top sirloin. So disappointed in this Publix location. I always hear great things about the Publix Bakery and decided to give it a try; however, they disappointed us big time. The worst part is that they just said, "sorry," and did not offer anything to rectify the situation. The cookie cake they created for my daughter's 18th birthday looked horrible, it was nothing like what is pictured on the website or in the store. In addition the cookie was extremely hard. The worst part is that they stated there was no one available to correct their mistake. Therefore, my daughter did not have a cake for her party that evening. On the morning that I was supposed to pick up my cake, they called to let me know that they were not able to provide the flavor that I wanted. Excellent grocery store, dependable produce department, great...I mean GREAT organic selection and all thier in-house brand stuff is FAR superior to the equivalents randalls and krogers put out. Never super long lines at check out and u can always find someone closeby to help you out. The pharmacy is a bit tired, not a lot of selection in any of its over the counter isles. But the deli, man those borehead subs are KILLER. I ordered a sub here recently and the guy really took his time with every ingredient and every detail. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAKE AT THIS LOCATION. Not saying do not purchase a Publix cake, just don't get it here. I have previously worked in a Publix bakery as a decorator years ago so if I don't have time to make it myself, I only go with Publix. This past Saturday evening I was there to pick up a 1/4 sheet cake dome and board and noticed the lady in front of me was very upset about her cake. While one clerk was helping me, the other clerk was trying her best to appease the irate customer, but wasn't getting very far. I asked the situation and learned her cake (a full sheet with a zebra print design) was supposed to have pink borders instead of the black ones that were on it. The lady was already running late to her event and kept saying 'my friends told me not to order here, but I just had to come here.' I told them that if they had a pink icing bag I could help the lady out since the last decorator had just left. I washed my hands and the clerk gave me a hairnet. While taking the black borders off, the decorator cake back to the bakery. I stood up and said "oh you can take over" and she told me that she was off and left. I was like, really? I don't even work here. A couple of minutes later the assistant store manager and some gentleman rushed to the "rescue". I tried to explain the situation but she seemed rude and unwilling to listen so I figured I would say it here. True, maybe I didn't belong there, but I figure if I as a customer care more about the customers than the people being paid to care....they don't deserve your business. read more

I walked into a Publix in Florida and bought a fruit bowl; I've been in love with the chain ever since. This is one of the nicest locations in the Nashville Metro area. The staff are friendly and the prices are competitive. Their produce is the freshest in town and the deli and bakery offer great selections. Publix also carries a wide variety of international food products which is great because it saves me a crosstown trip to the international food markets on Nolensville Pike. read more

Always clean, well stocked, and low priced! I shop at this publix every other week for our groceries and I am never disappointed! They have new buy one, get ones each week and they carry Boars Head!!! That's always a win. The staff is bright and friendly and the store policies are phenomenal: for example if they have lanes something wrong, they give it to you for free! And they always offer to help you load your car! I was thrilled when they opened up this Publix so I wouldn't have to drive to Smyrna. The people are really friendly and the store is really clean and well lit. The folks at the deli counter always insist on giving a sample before filling your order. The produce section is usually well stocked and I've never had a hard time finding a banana that wasn't too green or brown or an apple that wasn't just right. read more

I have had nothing but excellent service and attention in every dept which is why I was so taken aback by a comment made to me in the bakery dept today while shopping for bake goods to go with my Cinco de Mayo dinner. I said to the young man behind the bakery counter "It's Cinco de Mayo, where are all the Mexican deserts"? He gave me a negative look and clearly said "In Florida" and walked away. While not personally offensive to me - I thought the remark was inappropriate and I hope he improves his attitude. Maybe he's having a bad day.
