I wish I could understand what's going on with Scott but since he won't respond to my messages,…read moreI'll have to share my most recent experience with him. I found him late in 2024. You can read my review on that encounter in my last review for him. I closed out that review by stating that I was so impressed, that I left a 24-105mm f/4.0L for him to look at. At this point, I don't even remember what was wrong with it. He worked on the lens and got it back into working condition and called me. It's 71 miles from my house to his shop. I made the drive down and in the course of conversation, Scott said that he would be more than happy to sell it for me and could get up to $400 for the lens. That particular lens was the first lens that I bought for my Canon 5D. It was my only lens for at least five years. Needless to say, I did everything with it. When I returned to my local fire department as a volunteer photographer, I added a few more lenses to my arsenal included the Mark II version of the same lens. Since I didn't need the one Scott had just repaired, I asked him to sell it for me. I didn't hear from Scott for quite a while, but the lens wasn't my priority. I do a lot of volunteer work, and I had enough equipment to keep working. I called him in April of 2025 to check status, and it hadn't sold yet. We spoke briefly about lowering the price. I told him I would take $300. I didn't hear from Scott again until August when he said he had a buyer for $275. I told him that $300 was the price that we had agreed on and he said that he would "make up the difference". I didn't fall off from the turnip truck just yesterday. I know that the difference of whatever he sold it for and what I got would be his profit. But I also know that when you are selling something on consignment, you have no right to arbitrarily lower the price without the owner's permission. His "making up the difference" meant that he made less profit. He asked when I would be driving down to pick up the check. I asked Scott to simply mail it to me. Every time, I've visited him at his place of business, I've had to call to let him know when I was close and sometimes, he wouldn't be there. I know as a single person business operation, clients need your time, meetings run long, photoshoots take longer than expected. I figured getting a check by mail would be easier for both of us. In October of 2025, I called for and left a message for an update. January 30th of this year, I called and Scott told me that I should have received the check by now and that he would have to check with his bookkeeper to find out what happened to the check. Yesterday, 3/23, left a message letting him know how disappointed I was with his lack of communication. And so here I am, dropping my five-star rating for him to one-star. Next will be the Better Business Bureau. I may never see my $300 again but I don't want to see other hard-working photographers get taken for a ride.

She was able to help me with poses and caught the best angles. I can't stress the angles enough, she maneuvers the camera until she finds the shot and it makes all the difference. Her experience shines through in the way she manages her projects. I was able to work with Shannon on the Redefining Beauty project. She was able to come into my home, spot the best lighting, and create photogenic spaces that I wouldn't have thought would look good in photos... but somehow she made it happen and my photos came out AMAZING. I love how professional she was throughout the entire planning process. We had consultations prior and I was able to stay in contact afterwards. She even helped with planning the photo shoot concept. Honestly, she does way more than any other photographer I've ever worked with. When you hire Shannon you're not just hiring someone to take pictures, you're getting so much more. I received my edited photos quickly and on a cool online platform I can revisit anytime. The photos are beautifully edited and such a high quality. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Shannon is an amazingly talented photographer who can make magic happen in any circumstance. I'm so grateful for the images I got of me and my daughter. I look forward to working with Shannon again!

We fell in LOVE with the romantic and moody style of her photography, and we were so incredibly happy with how our photos turned out. Shannon also helped with finalizing our wedding day schedule, gave us tips on what we can wear for our engagement shoot, single-handedly wrangled 100+ people for a massive family photo in a matter of minutes, and above all, so fun to be around all whilst being super professional! Shannon, thank you for traveling to our wedding location to capture our special day. We consider ourselves so incredibly lucky to have found the most perfect photographer for our day!

I came across Kree's Yelp page because of how close she was, but what really stood out was her website--the caliber and vibrancy of her photos were incredible. I knew right away she'd be a perfect fit for capturing my niece, both in her cap and gown and in her super colorful prom dress (which I was confident Kree could do justice!). From the moment I reached out, Kree was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The contract was simple and straightforward, pricing was fair and the breakdown of her packages were awesome. and she helped us agree on a time and location that worked perfectly, not far from our house either, which was a huge plus. On the day of the shoot, Kree arrived right on time and immediately made my niece feel comfortable. Since it was my niece's first time being professionally photographed, I appreciated how Kree guided her with poses and gave her direction to bring out her best angles. She was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience fun. We received the edited photos about two weeks later, and they were amazing, better than I could have imagined. Kree truly captured my niece's personality and the significance of the moment. Highlights for me: super responsive communication, an easy-to-understand contract, a convenient location, her friendly demeanor, and of course, the beautiful final photos. Thanks so much Kree!!!

Responded quickly, was flexible, transparent and had a great attitude, something I don't take lightly. For me personally when I hire someone its not all about the bottom dollar, who wants to save a buck, get crappy work and not enjoy who your working with? That's often what you get when you trip over a dollar to save a dime. Robert showed up twice at my clients home. I didn't need to babysit. He took care of business. Clients were very happy with him which is a reflection of myself as their agent which is critical as well. Robert made numerous schedule changes for rain, natural light schedules inside the home and got me my pics on a rush exception of 24 hrs. I paid him a little extra for that. I don't put my life on hold for 48 hrs without a price and I don't expect anyone else too, however Robert did. 5 star service all the way.
