I called and spoke with Greg(one of the pharmacists) and he was so kind over the phone. I had to rush the order because the first pharmacists and CVS did not tell me about Keefer's until I spoke with another pharmacist that told me about them right away. Greg understood the urgency and got on it right away. I was able to pick up the Rx the following day. I have a high deductible so Greg suggested I pay out of pocket with no insurance affiliation and it ended up significantly cheaper - by 50%. This was acceptable because I would just submit it for reimbursement to my HSA(Health Savings Account) similar to FSA(Flexible Spending). Apparently claiming one does not have insurance yields a cheaper cost - amazing how much less uninsured individuals are charged. This was definitely old school pharmacy but I liked it. My Mom was a pharmacist and it brought memories from my childhood. I walked around just looking at everything in the store. They have unique items. The prices were slightly higher than say Walmart or CVS/Walgreens so maybe that's why it seems the items don't appear too move as much - at least it appears that way (when items don't look like they've moved out of their spot on the shelf) but I could be wrong. I'm so bummed that I lived in Mount Prospect and Arlington Heights for ten years that I never walked into this place. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here again. If they provide the same cost for my other Rx then I will be giving them more of my business.

The store layout and item availability is well reflected on the app. Some sections can be messy at times but the employees do a good enough job from my perspective. Definitely a bigger sized store compared to others. It's a supercenter for a reason. The in-store subway is a nice bonus. It always smells good there. I agree with other people's assessment of the parking situation. There is a lot of people coming in from Lake-Cook road and navigating can become a chore on busy days. The inside has been adjusted and reset over the last few years and I feel they have improved space and flow of foot traffic. My only true point of contention is the self checkout machines. I have had many occasions where I have to keep my hand on my card so it can read it properly. It's not fun when an employee has come help me out with simple task of completing a transaction. I do use the app a bit more and it's nice to be able to use the qr code to connect to my account to pay. I have held out hope that they will have apple pay at some point, but they have yet to do so. As it is the closest place to get groceries, this store is a convenient location. However, I will continue to have a preference for Target across the street.

Some losers/weirdos had thrown food on it. It was in my door handle and on my driver's side windshield. It creeped me out because I felt watched since I was only away from my car for a short amount of time. I go to customer service and ask if the cameras captured what happened - the attendant told me, "I don't know, fill out a police report". She said the same answer when I asked if she could tell me if my car was even on camera or not for the ordeal. I get there a processes in place but you can't tell me whether or not my car vandalism was captured on camera? The staff was not helpful - I will not be returning.

It's very small compared your average CVS, only 2 aisles filled with emergency items such as over the counter medications, gauze, medical cream/Vaseline etc. No food, beverage or electronics here. Most employees come here to pick up their prescription or if they need some medical supplies for emergencies. Great overall service, the pharmacist is very willing to answer all your questions. Very convenient when you are an employee at Allstate Northbrook. They close at 5pm and during lunch hours.

Rain-X was the brand that they sold here, and the selection wasn't great...with the Conventional version being sold out of many of the sizes. Ended up getting a higher end model. Checkout was easy, using the self-service lanes. Didn't type in any information for purchase, but Walmart knew I was a Walmart+ member (probably through the credit card). Sure enough, got an email later thanking me for my purchase, and the items appearing on my on-line history.

It's clean and bright and well organized and the clientele are a grade higher. They also have a well paved, well laid out, and relatively spacious parking lot for their huge customer base. We avoid visiting any Walmart on the weekends as they are always very crowded then, and we tend to come at quieter weekday times because we can. Today, wife saw some pie crusts that were $2 cheaper than the same exact product at Jewel. We also pick up bread and some grocery items on occasion here. Other visits have included gardening related items or kiddo stuff. I have tried some of their house brand cough syrups in the past but found they are not the quality and effectiveness of the brand name equivalents, so you get what you pay for on some of the pharmacy items anyway. Overall, a very nice Walmart Supercenter to have nearby, and thumbs up!

Between CVS jerk I listened to, he would not stop…read moretalking and constantly interrupted, and the lazy $#&* at the insurance, it took 2 hours trying to get 2 scripts straightened out. The second time I called Silver Script I was helped by a woman. She set things right. 2 scripts for my husband I transferred 10 days ago. I went to check status and find a message there is a problem with the transfer. Absolutely no contact to let us know. Only a confirmation email that they received the transfer.

I was initially giving 3 stars but I've had some reconsiderations since my last visit. This location has always felt kinda of dingy to me. It's smaller that most other Walmarts I've been to, and thus isles feel a little cramped. I am generally able to find what I need , but it is still a limited selection compared to the bigger stores. It does the bare minimum as a Walmart but I do not favor this place that much. They do not carry produce whatsoever, only stock pre packaged, boxed and canned foods. (Which isn't good for families in the area) I feel I spend too much time whenever I'm here and I just can't vibe with it. The sketch feel and overall subpar atmosphere is just not for me. If there was less development in the area I'd be inclined to avoid it altogether.
