The majority of us who call are not developmentally challenged. We know that we are not ALWAYS the next caller. It is insulting to keep telling the caller that he or she is the next caller. Furthermore, every time this message breaks in, the song (Baby Elephant Walk) starts over at the beginning. Come on--you can do better than this for your patients (and their patience!)

This West Salem Walgreens used to be a great store. It has really gone down hill. Went in to get a…read morepassport photo today. The clerk took my name and phone number. Went back in 5 hours later and one of the "managers" was there. No photo. The SD card isn't working, which he said has been a problem. He said he wasn't told anything when he came on shift about my photo. I asked if it would be policy for the clerk to call me and let me know it couldn't be done, so I'd know to go elsewhere. He just said, "yeah, she should have called." That's it. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't that relayed to all employees and consequently, to customers? Also, the store has been very dirty. I've asked when the janitor might be coming in. I was told they don't have one to do floors and someone on each shift is supposed to be cleaning them. Is everyone still using COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and lack of help?

It's not their fault you don't know how insurance works; take that up with your CCO. It's not their fault your copay's high; again, take that up with your CCO. It's not their fault they're out of stock, not their fault you're getting generic and not name brand, and certainly not their fault that your doctor's office hasn't sent them the prescription you need. The system is broken, and for working in a broken system, they're doing a great job. I also don't attempt to pick up my medication until I get a notification saying it's ready. Super effective and efficient.

Their prices have been surprisingly good and today my 2 year old had a blast! The staff was so nice and didn't mind her running around. She was late to walking, being a preemie and all so any chance to run free is nice haha they loved her and some one from the bakery department came and told us she can have a free cookie!!!! Which she was so happy about and said it was yummy. And another staff member came up just to say hi to the babies which was really nice. Everyone was friendly but not in a fake way or overbearing way. The pharmacy was amazing too. That dreaded warning light had been on in my car for 400 miles, and I finally took the time off to…read moretake care of it. I pulled around to the auto center and went inside to inquire about an oil change. There's a limited staff, so nobody was at the desk, so I waited a bit before someone acknowledged me. Finally, I was directed to pull my car up in the designated area outside the garage and someone would come write up a work order. I didn't wait long, but was glad I got there when I did because I was told I would be the last customer. I got there at 3:30 and they close at 5:00, so plan accordingly. I was told it would be done in about an hour and a half and opted in for text updates when given the option. What to do for an hour and a half?! I walked next door to Lowes and browsed a bit before I inadvertently pocket dialed a friend I hadn't spoken to in a while. We had a great conversation over face-time for about 45 minutes. Then I checked out the plants, and before long, got a text that my car was being worked on. I headed back and played solitaire on my phone in the waiting area until my car was done. In total, my full synthetic oil change was $55, a deal compared to other 'quick' oil change spots around town charging upwards of $99. They weren't fast, but they were professional and got the job done. With inflation affecting everything these days, I look for savings where I can get it.

However The man ahead of me also paid for his AFTER 6 so this reason was shit. She obviously just wanted to go home. I explained it was anxiety medication and it's ready all I needed to do was pay. Very frustrating. This is the first time I've had an issue buying it right before close time. I come late most days but it's always before closing time and I'm always helped. This pharmacy always has long lines. The man in front of me stated it took 8 minutes for her to help just one person. If the cashier takes that long to checkout one person that's not on me. If you are in line before closing you should be helped!

I've been a customer of Safeway pharmacy for years and loved the pharmacy technicians. The last few…read moremonths the lines to wait to get my meds is ridiculous! I have to wait for a VERY long time! The lines there are outrageous. 6 or 7 people long. I've called the manager. Let's hope it gets better. In the meantime I'll try Riteaid. Maryanne
