I have to make trips back and forth to get meds. because he doesn't have them. I want to support the small business in our town but I can't wait for my meds when the doctor waits me to start them right away. The hours aren't really that great either. He's closed on Sundays and closed at 3:00 on Saturday, not everyone can get there according to his hours. I hate to switch back to CVS because I don't care for them at all but I might not have a choice. I use to get a text when my pills were ready but that stopped now I have to call. I thought it would be great doing business with a small pharmacy especially for shots etc. but he's one person and I think that's the problem. If you have a new prescription after 6pm or a Saturday after 3 or a Sunday you would have go to CVS anyway. It's very disappointing.

Those who run this pharmacy, however, seem to have rediscovered that you can gain customers simply by doing your job, doing it well, and treating the customer with courtesy and compassion! When you call this pharmacy, the phone is promptly answered by a human being. You don't have to sit though tons of advertisements / being put on hold for a long time. The staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. Most importantly, though, they operate well when filling a prescription. With my previous pharmacy I'd worry whenever a refill was coming up, since there would almost always be some kind of a problem that the staff would do the minimum of work to solve. When you called the pharmacy, after a long wait, you'd be responded to by someone who seemed to find your call a nuisance (Not every person in the pharmacy was like this, but it was common). I only wish I'd known how great Nutmeg Pharmacy is earlier, since it saves me so much hassle and stress. Half the time when you call them to fill a prescription, they've already done it! I hadn't known that pharmacies like this still existed. Overall, Nutmeg Pharmacy is a wonderful small business that can still give that personal touch to their work. Because the pharmacy is a small business, though, I'm hoping that it will survive this difficult economy. I would instantly recommend Nutmeg Pharmacy to anyone!

She thorough, stays up to date with current trends and rigorously treats symptoms until a solution is found. What's even her better practice is that she actually cares about her patients. She remembers details and personalizes the experience in a way that is almost non-existent in the health industry today. It's almost tragic that she can't accept new patients anymore. I would refer anyone I know and love with auto-immune concerns.
