I purchased a Hearthstone propane style gas stove from Preston Trading Post. I sourced several…read morevendors before making my final decision. I worked Creg in selecting the stove and fealt confident in his ability to provide me with the best product to suit my needs. Creg informed me that I needed to have the installer inspect and report back what type of pipe connection I required before i could purchase the stove. There are many y moving parts to the installation. The prepping of the pad for the propane tank, along with several inspections before the stove can be installed. The stove was ordered along with all the parts necessary based on the inspection by the installer. That was November, 3 weeka larer the stove was delivered with the parts. Two months later, I am scheduled for the install and it turns out that there are missing parts to the order. Preston had the stove delivered without parts that are back-ordered. They now tell me that they don't know when the parts will be in. This was all beknownst to me. I removed the wood stove, I installed new tile on the back wall and on a new platform for the gas stove, and I don't have a back up source for heat in the winter in CT. I am waiting for a call back with an explanation as to why I received a stove without all the parts.

I stopped in to grab a couple things I needed for a long road trip. The parking lot was just re-done so you have to park in the lower half and walk across the new part of the lot. No biggie, just though I would mention it for any individuals who have a hard time walking distances. So we walk in and it's nothing special, it's not even a large location. Keep reading, it gets better. I head towards the back of the store where I need to grab my items and I only see one lady at the customer service desk and one gentleman helping another customer. I can't find what I'm looking for even though the website said there were a few in stock so I head over to the customer service desk and wait for a while hoping the lady would come back. She did not but luckily the gentleman finished with his customer and came over to see if I needed help. I tell him my dilemma and he not only helps me but he goes WAY out of his way to help me get exactly what I need for my trip. Andre, you are a rockstar!! Let me tell you, this store had plenty of customers, all of whom seemed to need some sort of help and some were rude about it. So I know these guys get the short end of the stick a lot but that didn't change Andre's attitude. He helped us with a smile and seriously saved the day. Now we can get on the road safely and don't have to worry! If it wasn't for him I'd be giving this location 2 stars because the other two employees in the store did not seem like they wanted to be there and we not very service oriented.
