My Parents went into the Lisbon Walmart location to purchase a television, and unfortunately were assisted by a member of the electronics dept. named RANDY who deemed his behavior as appropriate because when asked his name, he proudly proclaimed it, as if nothing would be done about his behavior. While deciding to purchase the television, he rudely asked my Father if he was buying the TV or not because apparently it was taking too long to make a decision. Later on when asking for help, RANDY said "Can't you see I am helping someone!?" Let me HIGHLIGHT a few things here. My Father is a 22 year served Navy Veteran with disabilities, he is an amputee as well as suffering with severe vision loss, and you can clearly see some of those physical disabilities. However, this employee did not care! So, my Father has earned his respect. He is older than this gentleman and has worked hard to protect and serve all in this country during his 22 yr tenure, and even many years after working for Electric Boat. And, even if he did not have all of these accolades, no one deserves to be treated this way. RANDY WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF POCKET, and something needs to be done immediately. RANDY WAS NASTY AND DISRESPECTFUL FROM THE BEGINNING!! His behavior continued throughout the entire exchange/transaction. I don't know who needs to be contacted, but stay clear of and avoid being assisted by RANDY IN ELECTRONICS AT THE LISBON CT LOCATION. He was completely out of line and showed no remorse when we expressed how we felt about the mistreatment. I would hate to think that RANDY has an issue with people of color, but it seems more and more prevalent that it is okay to treat minorities this way. So, I would not be surprised if he treated all POC this way. I strongly feel things would have been different if we were a White/Caucasian family coming into this establishment to make a purchase!! read more

This Walmart treats there employees like s**t and pay is awful. Especially cart pushers. If it's boiling hot and they need a break they fuss that there not working. If it's freezing cold and there sore from the weather and have been non stop pushing carts they fuss bc it's not cleared yet. If it is pouring rain they dont think that they should be able to stop when they need for the rain to calm down some so they dont go home soaking wet and end up getting sick bc of it. I think they should be able to push at there pace the best they can as long as there getting the job done. If you haven't done it yourself it's not only physically draining but mentally to. They should not have someone working back to back to back everyday cart pushing it wears your muscles out and causes Severe problems especially if they have disabilities it's harder than you think read more

Never pre-order a game from Walmart, or at least this Walmart. Madden '20 came out today at 12am, I pre-ordered it last week. I asked the lady that worked there a few days ago if they do 12am releases and she said no, but I went today to check just to look if they did in fact have the game. I get to Walmart at 12:30am, I go to the game section and there the game is. So I ask someone to help me get the game I pre-ordered that I'm literally looking at. The lady says "your order isn't ready" at first she didn't even seem to know what I meant by pre-order, she thought they would ship it to me.... but the email says you pick the game up at the store. Someone explain to me, why the hell should you even pre-order a game from Walmart that you can't even pick up while it's in the case.... So if I didn't already pre-order the game I could've just bought it right there for the same exact price. DO NOT pre-order from Walmart, it's a fucking waste of time. The email is telling me my order won't even be ready until 6pm today, that's 18 hours I have to wait for the game I pre-ordered, when I could've have already had the damn game installed at 1am. This place ran out of bags. None. Not one to buy, nothing. Wild. The people working there are nice enough but I've never heard of a place selling groceries without an option for bags. Walmart is a garbage place and I hated myself for going in there and not being able to buy my groceries is a sign about going into a Walmart in the first place. read more

I don't know why there's so many low reviews. I suppose it's because people only write a review after they're upset from some specific event. But you know what to expect when going to Walmart. If you want a fancy customer service iced coffee while you shop kind of place, go to target with all the other snowflakes. If you want to pick up groceries for dinner and some ammunition to celebrate and practice you're second amendment right? Then Walmarts your place. And this Walmart is as good as the rest. Would you believe I was accused of petty larceny ?? I wasn't going to respond. However, This was a few months ago. I don't care if stores employees eyeball me everytime I go in. It was when I used the self checkout. It was late, I saw a green indicator a must of red ones. Proceeded to check out my 10 or so items. Paid via the automated system with cash, received the receipt, then I was approached by the lead cashier. Being yelled at for THIEFT. One of their employees yellowed me in the self checkout corral. I showed her my receipt, she said I went through the yellow barriers. I explained it WASN'T there when I went through. Her employee boxed me in without my knowledge. She called the ASM, LOSS Prevention, another cashier. I showed them the receipt, each item was re-inventoried for the 3rd time on 10 items. I was there for over a 1/2 hour. I was returning the attitude I was receiving. She was accusing me of an increase voice, along with theft. I requested for the State Troopers to arrive. Enough is enough. At that point, they FINALLY let me leave the store. I personally should have called. It was now after 11:00 pm. I decided to depart. I guess my picture is like a mugshot in the office. I don't care. I KNOW I don't steal from this or any other businesses. It's not my way.. This Store Staff NEEDS serious training in Larceny attempts and Customer Service. I still go there, will always go there, and again, I don't care if I get eyeballs while I am in there.. read more

I was traveling all over North America for work and ended up here when I needed some random supplies for work (a wireless router and some batteries for instance). I was working at Foxwoods and this was the closest place that had anything like that. I hate Wal-Mart. I've been to them in more places than I care to mention and think that they have taken some of the best things about America and destroyed it. Now it's the same crap being sold at every Wal-Mart from the West Coast to the East (and let's not forget about making Canada homogeneous too) but at least this one was clean and thee wasn't crap everywhere so I'll give them that. read more

Stopped by to get an oil change on my Toyota. Waited easily 45 minutes to get to the counter. They were busy and only had 1 customer service person working the counter. He was trying his best and was very polite but was very inexperienced working the automotive counter. When I did get to the counter I asked how long he had been working at Walmart, he replied 2 weeks but only one week in automotive. At one point he called for assistance from a manager to help with a customer wanting to change just 2 of 4 tires, I believe they had to sign a wavier. The manager helped with the wavier, looked at the line of people waiting and just left. ???? Definitely not a team player. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I was there the other day and purposely went to a line with a cashier because my back was killing me and didn't want to scan my purchases. I ended up at the one cashier that had no bags while all the others still had bags. The cashier would not get bags from other registers and I ended up putting all my stuff back in the cart. I was beyond disgusted. No apology, no attempt to assist, just indifferent. I went to customer service to complain and the woman stated that she didn't know where the cashiers were getting bags and they don't have to share. She obviously did not get the point. If you choose to stand in line and wait for a live cashier, obviously you want better service than self serve. They do not understand customer service. The employees are not well trained in customer service. I hate this store and will not return. The store is dirty and the people are never pleasant. read more

Would give it less if I could. Attempted to go back for my tires which I had been purchasing through Walmart in Lisbon off and on for the life of my 2013 Hyundai but had bought at least 6 full sets of tires there including 7 tires in the last 2 years. With receipts in hand for the 65000 mile tires I purchased 40000 miles earlier and already replaced 3 of them between 10000 and 25000 miles from purchase I needed 4 new tires. Was told they had them in stock and took last tire appointment at 6:15. Arrived at 5:05 after work and was informed it was too late and would have to come back. I stated I drove in the rain to get here and have no tread left on these tires. The cashier went outside in the dark and said sorry cannot honor any warranty your car is out of alignment. They made an appointment for the following morning (so I would have to miss work) to go and change them out. I almost crashed on the way back the following day in even heavier rain and when I arrived was informed they could not give me road hazard on the tires since the car was out of alignment but if I wanted to go get the car aligned before they did the tires they could do the road hazard. I asked how my car alignment had any bearing on picking up a piece of metal etc. in the road. But convinced the cashier to go through the supervisor and I was told I would get texts on the status. I left to go get supplies at Home Depot while waiting and as soon as I got there I got a text that there was an issue and no work could be done until I contacted them. I went back and the cashier said I needed to talk to Joe in the garage. I went out and was told he would not put tires on the car as they were aftermarket rims. I said that they had been putting tire on the car for the last 6 years and was informed that no they had not. I got upset and said that it was BS and he told me he was not dealing with me I could speak to the manager. I went and got my key, got the Walmart receipts for the last 7 tires they installed went and slapped them on their counter said "Here are the receipts for doing the tires on that car! it is F-in' BS and you can give those to your supervisor" and I left. I have aftermarket rims on the car to support getting rid of the low profile tires that the car came with they have been on the car since 2015 and were purchased through Town Fair tire to meet the required specifications for that car. I wasted several hours of time and gas and effort to get a BS response. The standard tire warranty from the manufacture recommends alignment and rotation but it not required to get the tread life warranty. And by the way when my car was aligned at town fair tire after I left Walmart they had to make a grand total of 2 adjustments on the entire car. Will never use Lisbon Walmart ever again. I will drive an hour before I ever go there again for anything after that treatment. read more

Worst stocked store in America, bar none! Unless the store was closing out. This was one of the best stores going too. Now it's like the Sahara desert baron shelves and items missing in Haba. I worked for a competitor years ago we would have gotten fired for the things they do. Stick your head in the fresh egg section -I dare you-. Take a big inhale through your nose. That's what rotten eggs smell like. These shelves should be fully stocked every night on 3rd shift, vendors should never hog isles and make customers walk around them. HIRE shelf stockers! You eliminated cashiers should be able to stock the shelves and keep things in stock. I've been told on some items 3-week wait the warehouse is out. Frozen isle is a disaster empty shelves, pizza's all strewn around what left anyway. I literally head to target after Walmart to get what they don't have in stock. The only good sections are meats(usually) and bakery/deli. Whoever manages this store is lame. read more

unfortunately this is the "only grocery store" in the area (lisbon) they never have any items consistently on a daily or even weekly basis!!! for a super store (not) they never keep their shelves stocked!!! fyi....... covid is not your problem now...... so tell me what is?!?!?!!! the manager who " should be "supervising " & making sure the shelves are stocked obviously is not doing his job in my experience there!!!! maybe its time to have each individual department managers ( if they even have any) do the ordering & be responsible for their own products that should be on the shelves..... items that sell quicky & are popular with customers!!!!! try it... just a suggestion!!! your competitors.. s&s ( where i worked for 8 years & very knowledgeable with this process) & surprise "it works" not to mention it "keeps customers happy "..... hence & are apt to spend more $$$!!!! big y.... shop rite etc use this system & its been working & beneficial to customers!!! maybe " walmart" can learn from them !!!!!! try it!!! just saying!!! read more

I came here with a scheduled appointment for some new tires, after not being able to break a 20$ for the vending machine, they told me they could not work on the tires without a sensor that was missing on 2 of the tires. I have had the tires replaced at many other places that have never had any issue with it, so that became an exception extra charge. They also did not look at my car until an hour after my appointment, which led to me sitting in a Walmart for 2 hours. Much longer than I should have had to wait. Overall I was not happy with the performance or the customer service for my experience. If you can, I would recommend you find at the very least a different Walmart to go to. read more

Wish I could leave 0 star rating. Employees are nowhere to be found on the floor to check if they have additional stock. Walked all 10 aisles of health and beauty aisle to find someone, still couldn't find anyone so we walked to the registers and asked the cashiers if they were able to check in stocks, instead they claimed that currently all the employees are in the back. Nothing initiative to even call or try to help. Useless. Worst customer service Ever. read more
