I drove up to the drive-through pharmacy and sent my ID through the transport. And then I realized i didn't put my bank card in but figured i would send it through when it was my turn. I waited for the technician to send me my prescription. I chose the outer lane because someone else was in the other lane. When it was my turn he asked me to back up and get into the other lane so that it would be easier. So I did. I was in and out of the drive-through lane within just a few minutes without any issues. Thanks to the team for helping out to get my medicine today. Thank you. It would be good ti have a sign for what to send through the transport chute to make it easier on both parties. read more

This is probably the slowest CVS I've ever been in. There is no self checkout. The staff eat their meals at the register.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. The last thing I want to hear when I'm at a place of business is the cashier's description of her "bad stomach" because she ate alleged "bad fish." I also don't think it's exactly professional to tell your coworkers that the company "only hires managers from mental hospitals," and then proceed to kiss said manager's a** when she appears on scene. Avoid the Norwich CVS like the plague...or in this case, like food poisoning. Not a good look for the company. read more

Medicine called in today by MD office at noon. Came to pick it up at 7:30 pm and told it was not ready. Told they were still "catching up on yesterdays". Another visit a med was also not ready. I was told to wait 15 min as they would "expedite" it. An hour and 15 mins later and 2 visits to the counter to check on it and finally it was ready. Unbelievably awful service there read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It takes FOREVER to get a prescription inside and outside in the drive through. Any day of the week there is always a long line. It is ridiculous. There needs to be more workers or another CVS added to Norwich. Literally insane the amount of time we have to wait to get our medicine!!! read more

We had a bit of an emergency tonight and after calling the after hours, on-call doctor, a prescription was sent over to the Montville CVS. Turns out, they were already closed (8pm) but the staff at that location informed me that their Norwich location is open 24 hours and they should be able to have access to the prescription. Fast forward to 2 hours later, after a lot of back and forth and calls to the on call service, they were finally able to get the RX. They went over and beyond, from refreshing their system every 2 seconds over a span of 20 mins to helping me get the RX from the on-call service themselves. Tara and Tim were awesome and I am glad they were the ones at the pharmacy to help us tonight. read more

I wouldn't recommend this CVS to my worst enemy! Most prescriptions are never in stock and have to be ordered which puts me in a bad position of running out of meds. Not only that, the short staffed pharmacists are very rude with little to no communication skills whatsoever. To make matters worse, they decided not to be open 24hours anymore. I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere! read more

Last week my pain medication was called in by the doctor and it took 48 hours to fill, 2 more days of back pain. Today, I called to find out when my wife's prescriptions would be ready and was told by 3:00 PM. I arrived at 3:15 and they had not yet been started. My wife and newborn were discharged from the hospital with a prescription. We had it called into norwich cvs and went to pick it up 10 minutes after. We get to the location and the pharmacy was marked as closed at 5pm. We left for cvs at 4:30 and arrived by 5 as they were closing. We thought no problem we will just call another cvs to have it transferred. That was when we find out from that cvs that the norwich pharmacy had filled the prescription knowing that they were closing and filled it. We were told basically this locks the prescription in place because it cannot be transferred once filled. I went in to talk with the norwich pharmacy staff. None of them were helping and it took me and one other upset customer 10 minutes to get someone to come out from the back to talk to us. She came out and basically said there is nothing they can do and offered no resolution to our problem. And I understand if your system is down but to be inaccessible even after filling a script if unacceptable for a place like cvs. If i could give 0 stars I absolutely would. Never again cvs. Now my wife will spend the first night home with her newborn in pain because she cannot get ahold of her meds. I will be there in the morning expecting to get her prescription, after that cvs is crossed off my families book. read more

In the past two years they use Covid as an excuse why they were short staffed well here we are two years later and they're still shortstaffed they close the drive-through and their handicap entrance is diagonally on the opposite side from the pharmacy continuous staffingprepareor some kind of issue be prepared for drive-thrsed be prepared for shortage of pharmacists read more

Made dosage mistake on my daughters antibotics and refused to acknowledge or fix, only blame me, which resulted in her being 4 days short of doses. Will never use this pharmacy again. read more

For a cvs that is open 24hours this place is the slowest. Cashiers up front are either slow or there isn't enough of them. And the Pharmacy, wow, what a sh**show. They're so slow even if they say 15 mins on phone or in person it takes them 3 hours to do anything. And this is when the store is empty everybody is that slow. The pharmacy techs will stare at one another as to say its your turn to go help the customer. Its just chaos and something really need to be done about this place. SO SLOW TO DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. DON'T COME TO THIS CVS!! read more

This pharmacy staff is so rude! When you call and when you come in. They have no customer service skills and refuse to help when they can. Also the prices here are outrageous even if you have insurance. My family has tricare and I have never in 6 years of having it paid the prices I do at cvs. We have lived here, Virginia and California and the amount of money you spend with the complete lack of customer service and incompetents is simply not worth it. My son has asthma and no I can not "just wait a few hours" for his breathing treatments!!! I will be switching everything for my family today. read more
