Myself and another woman waited 12 minutes until someone walked over and said the girl working in the deli was on break and would be back soon. Six minutes later after the other woman went to customer service and complained, someone came. 23 minutes to get Service. There are only two registers that an actual person can work at since they removed every other register and replaced them with self check outs. Only three of the 15 self checkouts were being used. Since I don't work at Walmart, I had to wait in line (since apparently no one wanted to use the self check outs) another 20 minutes to check out. If the tiny child didn't want Stromboli for lunch I would have walked out. So if you have plenty of time to waste, you won't mind shopping here, but I will never be back.

The GOOD: Today…read more4/13/ 2025 9 AM was my first visit at this store . The store is well stocked , cleaned and organized . The garden center had lush greenery. A few minutes after walking in an associate walked by and asked " Did I need help finding h anything "! I was floored, I don't think I've ever in my life . Had a Walmart employee come up to me and asked me that ever. The BAD Ashely checked me out and it was the most awkward uncomfortable experience ever. I was offered no assistance, even though I had a cart full of really large , awkward items ladder household items etc . I felt like I was sprinting back-and-forth to load stuff in the cart get the items on the conveyor belt, etc. navigate the items into the cart like a jigsaw puzzle. My cart was so big and heavy, and Ashely did not lift more than a finger during my whole transaction.. Ashley literally told me after I declined the extra service protection on an item. "Don't tell me enter it on the keypad." I kept dropping things on the floor because of the slots at the bottom of the cart they were rolling around still not one offer for assistance. She stacked my glasses together in the same bag no attempt to wrap them so they would not break . Ashley proceeded to tell me to "have a nice day " and I was stunned because she could see how stressed I was trying to do like I was I felt was her job . Then as I walk away, she turns to another cashier and says that I was rude ! I stopped in my tracks, looked her in the eye to I acknowledged that I overheard her talking about me THE CUSTOMER . A did report this incident to the team lead, but he ( Bret ) didn't ask for my name or anything So I don't think it will go anywhere. Disappointed after spending almost $800 in the store. so ironic because I never shop in Walmart I just did it because it was convenient this particular day. Avoid Ashley !

On Murrell Rd. up in Rockledge, we had Earth Fare. And of course there are the constant rumors of finally having a Whole Foods here. But for some reason, what we had just suddenly closed. We did have local alternative groceries, which I am thankful for, but I know a larger alternative grocery would provide more options. Ergo, I am happy Sprouts decided to open here in Melbourne, FL, especially since I got to experience them in Tampa because my sister is a regional manager for their personal health department. Located on Hollywood Blvd., in the same plaza as LA Fitness Palm Bay, Sprouts is a stand-alone store that provides many of the same options both Lucky's and Earth Fare had. They have all the typical grocery departments including a bakery, deli, produce, personal health, and such. They do have an ambiance similar to our local Downtown Produce and the Thrifty Produce located in Rockledge on Eyester Blvd. For example, above their milk and diary wall, their signage is framed within a dairy farm setting. Other sections have old-time farmer's market signage above them complete with corrugated metal roofing and treated wood panels. Much of the base grocery is alternative healthier choices from what mainstream groceries provide. However, what stands out are their produce, meat and deli, and bakery. Everything is made fresh, and most are in-house. They provide freshly-squeezed juices, fresh-cut veggies and fruits, and pre-made meals that you can take home and cook. My personal favorite section is the personal care section, which provides alternative personal care and health options that actually work, from what I see. I definitely like the CBD gummies that provide sleep. There is much more to explore when I eventually go back here to Sprouts. For now, I am going to give the store a four out of five stars. They have everything you may want in an alternative grocery. The prices may be a little high, but that seems to be the case when it comes to quality. That is why Publix prices are usually higher than places like Walmart or Food Lion and so on. If this Sprouts remains consistent on their four-star quality and service on average (I'll give them a bad day or two), then they'll earn their fifth star for consistency.

The bread part was a little bit dry and the pork center was pretty simple. The Red Bean Hopia was straight forward and the Green Tapioca Yellow Bean dessert was the same. I then went to another store to get the tea and, everything that I just purchased was significantly cheaper. This store was clean and there were zero carts in the parking lot - they were all inside for customers to use. When I went to check out the lady "helping" all the customers jumped on me, "hit pay hit pay!!" Lady, calm down, I don't even have my wallet out yet - I literally had to tell her that. She said "I stand here all day telling people that". Ok - noted... if I'm in the mood for check- out service with a dose of anxiety I know where to go - haha.

I feel extremely depressed entering this store. The employees seem exceptionally depressed, even more so than what's typical in this current environment. I don't need a full conversation from anyone but maybe a quiet "Hello" from customer service? They are also criminally under stocked REPEATEDLY with the same stuff, week after week. I suspect that since this Publix is in a more economically challenged area, that corporate gives zero Fs about the surrounding residents because it's a completely different story beachside.
