If you can walk out without buying a shirt, keychain or sticker, I would either be impressed, or think something was wrong with you. Free parking (time limit) in the back of the shop. Long arse lines at all the registers, but that's a testament to how popular this place is. My husband who is an (ex-)surfer, totally loved this shop. He said visiting this store was one of the highlights of the trip.

Right when we were about to pull out she flags up down and tells us it didn't go through. No big deal! My mom checks her bank account and it did go through. The cashier gets the manager, a lady with an either Russian or Ukrainian accent, and we show her the transaction went through on our side. She then snaps at us and says, "whatever just take it for free." And storms off. My mom and I are just standing there in shock, and I had a new item with me that I was going to purchase. After a minute of standing there she calls out, "you're good to go." And I explain I had an item. She comes out, tells me the price, looks at my mom and says, "and not the $18.16, but I'm not discussing that with you." Obviously we no longer want to be here due to her being hostile and not knowing how to conduct herself in the slightest. I turn and say, "you know what? Never mind." I had no rain coat and was drenched to the bone and shivering when I appeared in the laundromat. I didn't need a wash, I needed a DRYER. Fast. Candace immediately offered me dry clothing while mine dried. She went well beyond just GOOD SERVICE: she took pity on a fool without a rain coat! Cape Laundry itself is a pleasure: open, bright and clean facility with rest room. It has many large, easily used machines. And, best of all, it has Candace, one of the most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting!
