It started in the parking lot with security 88 going to miles an hour like Darren me to go around them I could not park for a long time I had to just wait and wait until they turtle over to the left side so that I can get past. I don't get inside and I'm shopping and I'm trying to get home to find a dog sweater the first employee just told me where the dog area is even though I'm already in the dog area then I asked the second employee please show me where the sweaters are for the dogs as she walking to show me another employee told her to go get some type of card for her without saying anything to me she just walks off and go get the card for the other employee and leave me standing there so I kept telling the other employee excuse me excuse me excuse me literally chasing her down until she pays attention to me then she turns around and says we don't carry dog sweaters which I know is BS I bought them there before. Then I go to check out and means it is holiday season I know it's going to be busy so you would think that more than four registers would be open but no the lines are way down the isles I was shocked I just left read more

This is the worse Walmart ever. Every time I come, I've had a very negative experience. This time around I selected the pickup service. My items were to be ready from 1-2pm. I arrived at 1pm and figured I would just wait. I later got a text that my order was still being processed. I still decided to wait and did an audio book because I needed items to deliver for a very special girl on her birthday. Now it's almost 4pm and nothing. I called customer service and the pick up center multiple times and no one answered. Finally, after many attempts, I called the pickup number and they informed me that there was no way to find out how much longer my order would take. They informed me that there is no way to even know what was left in my order, I even offered to take whatever they had ready and cancel the rest. I'm really trying to practice social distancing and not walk into any stores, but this entire experience has been the most frustrating thing ever. All other pick up and delivery services have been fantastic. That's what I get for trying to give Walmart another chance. On 5/21 I placed a order for groceries to be picked up on 5/22 I saw the amount of $51 as a pending charge on my card which was fine. I woke up on 5/22 checked my bank acct only to see another charge on 5/22 in the amount of $56 taken as a pending charge. Yes I placed the 1st order but don't know about the 2nd order. So I call the grocery dept about the 2nd charge to see if they can explain to me what's going on & I'm told u need to call 1-700-Walmart so I call the numbers a non working number, call back the store the girl says look u need to call customer service gave me the 800 number hung up on me. So I call the guy tells me at 8pm the order will get cancelled out but still can't explain to me about the 2nd order, so I need to go back to work and I work til 5pm. At that time I get an email that says your grocery order still isn't ready u will be notified once it's done. Do once again I call the store talk to another rep she says miss I don't even see the 1st order but I see the 2nd order and I have talked to my grocery manager she said get your name/number and will call you back in 30 minutes. So I wait no phone call back and I reach out to 800 customer service and finally get a nice rep who calls the store trying to figure this out. While on the phone with her an email that I get says the 2nd order was finally done but replaced with several different things and heck I didn't even authorize the order placed or the charge on my card. The rep comes back on the phone says the store still don't have an answer for me as to what's going on but they see the 2nd order and no 1st order. At this point I'm beyond upset bcus this 2nd order didn't just create itself and they held this amount on my card and still no answers for me yet they filled an order and do on. The lady says she is canceling both orders and as soon as they are cancelled I will get an email saying they are cancelled and a refund for both orders ...as of 5/23 at 3:10am I have not gotten any email saying that they were cancelled and the 2 charges still sit on my bank acct. ...so I went and picked up my son from daycare and pulled into my driveway at 6:21pm only to get an email saying the order was picked up at 6:27pm. So I look at the clock in my car (remind you I'm parked in my driveway at 6:21pm) so the order definitely wasn't picked up by me and once again call the store and 800 number and still nobody can answer any damn questions and don't know any about this. So I screenshot my car clock outside my apartments as proof that I was home when these groceries were picked up....and still nobody at this store can help me, I still never got a call from any store manager about this at all......Now it's 5/23 and I should not have to be spending my Saturday dealing with this run around but guess where I will be at 7am this morning when the store opens up...yes still trying to get this shit corrected as the people at this store are the most incompetent employees and the managers can't even call you back to deal with an issue that needs to be handled by them. WoW..!!..simply unbelievable but hey I guess since it's not their money, their time they really don't give a shit.....As of 8:27am on 5/23 after being told by the Walmart customer care rep who was from the 800 number that the 2 orders would be cancelled yesday & this was around 5:35pm I was talking to her, I'm now on the phone with another 800 rep who confirmed that the orders were not cancelled yesterday like I was told they were going to be. The rep is now trying to reach out to the store to get them cancelled and to try to resolve this issue since the prior rep didn't do what she said. So the rep Karla got a cancellation number and "claims" she talked to a rep named Melissa at the grocery dept in my local store confirmation number of cancellation I wrote down and let's see what happens in the next 24 hrs....(update to come).... read more

Was looking for a few things and must have looked lost because an employee asked to help me and Helped me find what I was looking for. Went to the alcohol cabinet and pushed the button 2 times while waiting. 15 minutes. Every employee that walked by (total of 12) said they didn't have a key but that someone was being paged you come. Unbelievable lol. An elderly woman also came to push the button for help and again, no one came. She started to ask employees around but again, no help. After however long it was of the two of us waiting , that first and only employee to help me noticed that we were waiting and stopped to tell us that he was going to go look for the key to help us. This is the only wal mart I shop at. It's the closest to a super center that you'll get in Fresno. The staff is always really really friendly and the store is always clean with the exception of construction and/or expanding that they might be doing. Everything is easy to find and well organized. I love this Wally world. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it closes at 11 pm and where I'm from, wal Mart is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week business, which I miss. I'm really on the fence on this Wal*Mart, its really a hit and miss at times. I'm not sure any Walmart branch has the capability of receiving a fair review. Walmart is whats wrong with corporate America. I'm somewhat convinced that this Walmart moonlights as an insane asylum and the toothless hicks running rampant is incredible. I only come to this Walmart when its absolutely necessary and I require an essential cheap item. I dread the lines at the check-out lanes... also it feels like they are exploiting the elderly as they are hired as greeters and kept standing all day long. Walmart needs to do something about this issue, the elderly have lower peripheral circulation and standing for several hours can lead to blood clots. Night mare is a conservative term for this walmart. Awful. and everyone knows it. I love the low prices hate the people you have to trudge through to get them. Thank you lord they are building a new one on herndon and clovis. This one has got to have a much classier group of customers. Anyone thinking about visiting this walmart BEWARE! i only go for the pharmacy every maybe 6months to a year if i have to, but you still receive the typical walmart atmosphere here as well. drop off prescription wait around for a while come back to pharmacy line which is only 4 people but consists or insanely overweight people in electric chairs that should be walking, cursing at the pharmacist because their "free, government paid" (meaning you paid for it) prescription isn't ready or the crack head trying to get dope with fake prescription, which take an hour to get through. You get to the front of the line and the pharmacist says they put your name in the system wrong and have to change it. So now you have to go back to the end of the line and wait all over again. This Walmart is horrible. If you ever go and buy anything electronic from this place make sure you get it checked immediately before you even hand over any money. I had got a seagate portable hard drive 2TB, and it wasn't what was in the box. When I got home and unboxed it there was an old Toshiba 500GB hard drive. So, I went back to this location since this is where I bought it from. When I went to return it I got the run around and they tried to tell me that I had to return it to the manufacturer since it was them who placed the Toshiba hard drive in the box. This was a lie since the box was damaged and clearly opened from the top and the bottom and then taped back with clear tape. This is not the manufacturer tape since the manufacturer tape has a seagate logo on it. They did not want to return, or exchange it, so I had to get a manager. She then went back to review the cameras for herself and then tried to tell me that it was not there problem and the manufacturers problem. This was unacceptable, so after waiting for her for 10 minutes I had to argue with her for another 5 minutes. After she saw that I was not going to take the obvious lies they were telling me she exchanged the product for another one. It took me 20 minutes for an issue I didn't cause. This is unacceptable customer service and I will not be purchasing another electronic device from here again if I can help it. And if I do I'm going to make them check the product first. read more

This Walmart is the best for finding your everyday things and the prices are reasonable, they always have multiple registers open, its very clean and tidy inside, shelves are always well stocked, theres always someone on the floor to help you when you need it, and the staff is very friendly. I have been to this Walmart multiple times. I like it for dry goods over the newer Walmart in Clovis on Herndon. It is stocked much better in my opinion. Lines are often long and parking isn't ideal, but it is close so I keep going here. I stock up on my oatmeal when I can here. Much cheaper than a normal grocery store. read more

I sat on hold for the Garden Department for 30 minutes to check if they had cheap $7 plastic tables and they kept me on hold and never came back! But at the very least I would expect the products to not be expired and damaged. I went into this Walmart since it's very close to the gym I go to and I needed to pick up a few things after I got out the gym. So I went in to get some tostadas, simple right? Nope. All of them were crushed up so I had to look through them to get whatever was best. I get home and realized they were expired. I guess I should have checked the expire date before buying them, but come on, can't the employees at the very least change out expired items for new ones? Been to this Supercenter many times. Typical Walmart store layout. A bit confusing like a maze. The grocery section is fairly new. This location has plenty of produce and baked goods to choose. So... I feel like I'm in a video game .... The kind where you have to avoid the dead ends... We keep running into aisles where people are just in the middle of the aisles. To make matters worse the people in the aisles were employees standing around around talking. It was a intense. Their carts (assuming for go-back items), but their carts were blocking the aisles and no one would stop talking and move them... This happened on a few occasions like something serious was going on that all the employees were talking about.... Happened in crafts, the aisle with the air filters for Ac units, and again in garden.... There were other instances when aisles were blocked as well. Funny thing was the store was not busy ... At all. Our cashier was okay. She just got her job done ... No greeting or how are you.... It was a very frustrating visit. read more

Such bad experience at this store first of all they had no plastic bags for customers to purchase and per one employee I was told they were not allowed to post sign at the door So since I wasn't aware until getting to register there were no bags I had to decide what to do from there. I already spent an hr and half of my life over filling a basket when hundreds of dollars of items. Now I need bags so I live 7 mins away I told a employee I would be back within 15 mins I need to go home for bags when I returned within 15 mins she had already told stick person to put items back and had to re do shopping which was harder the second time half of my things were back in shelves so had to figure what I still had or didn't have so ridiculous for a company like Walmart to not have bags for many days so ridiculous to not warn customers ahead of time so they can go elsewhere or at least get bags before beginning shopping and 3rd to immediately put items back when I specifically stated what I was doing and when I would return so ridiculous waste of my time I will find name of associate who had items puts back and post her name later date read more
