I groaned and moaned as I waited through the super lengthy lines at all of the free-standing locations in southern Indiana. Getting our monthly prescriptions was miserable... Until we switched to this pharmacy! Super sweet, knowledgeable staff who yes stay busy on the weekends and after work hours BUT I've never had to wait in a line of more than three folks. AND if you're dropping off a prescription or requesting a pickup in person, you literally get to shop at Target while you wait for it to be filled (which has generally taken 30 minutes in our experiences.) Is it weird that my partner and I went from playing rock, paper, scissors where the loser had to go get our prescriptions to now almost making it a date? Probably, but that's how game changing this location has been.

It was my first time using it so I didn't know how much it costs. First I was told $28... then the pharmacist told me she will work on finding a coupon so give her ten mins. Within a few mins she found a coupon and made it to zero cost that was fantastic!! I really appreciate those people who consider customers needs and work on it. I really enjoy using Mathes Pharmacy and am grateful for their friendly and on-time service…read more The great services they provide are: *they will call you at an appointed time each month to automatically refill your medications. *they will deliver partial medication refills when the doctor office doesn't respond quick enough for any remaining medications. *they will deliver by the following day, if not the same day. *they have a store of health related products across the street, while selling such items in their pharmacy store. *I'd say the turn-over rate is relatively low. I've been using Mathes for two years and many of the same employees are still there. A huge plus! *signing for delivered medications is easy and quick. *they're quick to correct any errors, without any inconvenience to the customer. *a couple of times they ran out of a particular medication, which they restocked and delivered within a couple of days. *I think their prices are very competitive, if not better, than their competitors. A couple of times I called to compare prices and Mathes was definitely lower. They also price matched in order to keep my business. I loved that! I HIGHLY recommend Mathes. They're building a new store front. The new store is located in the same location - further back in the large parking lot. It's really nice to see local businesses pour money back into their business through expansion that'll not only help themselves, but benefit the customers as well.

They switched our insurance plan, and Mathes was not listed as one of the pharmacies that we could use. We have a large family and couldn't justify paying the extra expenses to use them. So we were forced to use CVS, since that is the company that purchased my vehicle idea company. She was now an employee of the nations largest pharmacy chain. What we found was that this company was out of medications more than once. One time we had to wait a week and a half for a common medication to be refilled because they were out! 10 days without a medication, when there are numerous other pharmacies in the area owned by the same company. So fortunately CVS sold the company after a year, and we are able to go back to Mathes. As soon as my medications run out, I'll be there. Why go to Mathes? Because it's NOT a big box store pharmacy. You may not be wowed this it's customer service, but they are always friendly and very helpful. They will definitely take care of you. Plus they are local, which is a bonus to me. If you need a prescription delivered, they even have a free delivery service. I highly recommend going here. Skip the big guys. You won't be sorry.

When I finally caught COVID in 2023 I was able to make an appointment and be seen within 45 minutes of finding they existed in this Walgreens. I use the Walgreens on 10th & Spring only because it's next to my Doctor and can usually just walk out of my doctors appointment over to Walgreens and then I have everything I need and go home. But the Clarksville Walgreens Pharmacy staff are just as friendly. I've seen people get very upset with them, but what needs to be understood is the pharmacist cannot make pills just appear. It has to be stocked at the corporate level. All and all I'm glad to have a pharmacy 2 stoplights away from my home!
