I've been using Mathes for two years and many of the same employees are still there. A huge plus! *signing for delivered medications is easy and quick. *they're quick to correct any errors, without any inconvenience to the customer. *a couple of times they ran out of a particular medication, which they restocked and delivered within a couple of days. *I think their prices are very competitive, if not better, than their competitors. A couple of times I called to compare prices and Mathes was definitely lower. They also price matched in order to keep my business. I loved that! I HIGHLY recommend Mathes. They're building a new store front. The new store is located in the same location - further back in the large parking lot. They switched our insurance plan, and Mathes was not listed as one of the pharmacies that we could use. We have a large family and couldn't justify paying the extra expenses to use them. So we were forced to use CVS, since that is the company that purchased my vehicle idea company. She was now an employee of the nations largest pharmacy chain. What we found was that this company was out of medications more than once. One time we had to wait a week and a half for a common medication to be refilled because they were out! 10 days without a medication, when there are numerous other pharmacies in the area owned by the same company. So fortunately CVS sold the company after a year, and we are able to go back to Mathes. As soon as my medications run out, I'll be there. Why go to Mathes? Because it's NOT a big box store pharmacy. You may not be wowed this it's customer service, but they are always friendly and very helpful. They will definitely take care of you. Plus they are local, which is a bonus to me. If you need a prescription delivered, they even have a free delivery service. I highly recommend going here. Skip the big guys. You won't be sorry.

You should also address the customer waiting in line by asking "How may I help you?" instead of "Hello, are you picking up a prescription?" while said customer is looking at her phone as to avoid the disgruntled techs who are not happy that said customer showed up 15 minutes prior to closing to pickup a prescription. (this is not a controlled drug) Approval was obtained with the help of my physician and I received a letter from insurance saying saying it would be covered as of 2/19/26. Kroger told me I had to wait until 2/23/26 for insurance to pay And they could not tell me what the cost would be. I had coupon for script at another pharmacy for $24.00 (no insurance needed) but I chose to remain loyal to Kroger and my physician's original prescription thinking I might incur even more delay. On 2/23/26 I called Kroger and was told they did not have enough to fill the prescription. Because the condition is serious, they filled part of the prescription and charged $53.00 with insurance. Today (2/25) I called to fill the remainder ( 2 tablets) and was told the insurance company would not approve it until Friday, 2/27. I explained I have a letter saying the entire amount is approved. The person on the phone proceeded to tell me that wasn't so. I have the letter in front of me now. I'm changing pharmacies. The new pharmacy tried to call but Kroger wouldn't answer. Been there done that more than once too. I used to like Kroger. This is all true. I'm only posting for the sake of others. When I finally caught COVID in 2023 I was able to make an appointment and be seen within 45 minutes of finding they existed in this Walgreens. I use the Walgreens on 10th & Spring only because it's next to my Doctor and can usually just walk out of my doctors appointment over to Walgreens and then I have everything I need and go home. But the Clarksville Walgreens Pharmacy staff are just as friendly. I've seen people get very upset with them, but what needs to be understood is the pharmacist cannot make pills just appear. It has to be stocked at the corporate level. All and all I'm glad to have a pharmacy 2 stoplights away from my home!
