I've been to all kind of WalMarts and it's honestly not my 1st choice for shopping locations just because of how crowed, chaotic, and overwhelming some stores can be. It is a week day during work hours, so that could be why I didn't experience any of that at this Walmart location, but whatever the reason, I'm glad. This location was a very nice one. It was well organized and maintained. I tend to only go to Walmart when I'm looking for something specific, so not alot of site seeing for me. I like to get in and get out. Even though it wasn't busy, they still had the famous long lines you always find at a Walmart. I was happy when an employee approached me and asked if he could check me out since I was carrying my few items and paying with a card. Thanks to his nifty hand held scanner, I had paid and was out of there in record time. I will probably be back on my next Walmart trip. read more

So I stopped by this location Friday around 4:30 PM. I kid you not that there was not 1 cart available. I sent my son to every entrance and not one cart available. The door attendant, though nice, stated no carts were in the store and I needed to go out to the parking lot and bring one inside. No ma'am I will not go outside and get my cart. I appreciate her kindness and I showed her respect for it but we left. Walmart lost my sales which was my entire week's groceries. Target down the street got the business. No carts is extremely poor management! I could semi understand, if the store was busy, but it actually wasn't. I could semi understand if the weather was bad, but it wasn't. So, it was poor management and likely poor scheduling of staff that led to this. I will not recommend this location to anyone, nor shall I return to this location. read more

Placed an order online for some t-shirts that were on sale and received a notification within an hour that the items were in stock and ready for pickup. Stopped by the store while I was out doing errands and parked in the designated spot for pickup orders. Voila! My items were brought out in less than 5 minutes. Signage was clearly posted. Online directions and app were easy to understand. Employee was polite and efficient. Nice to know this option is available, especially when I happen to have a time crunch. read more

Unfortunately I have to revisit my 4/2020 review of Walmart's (Grantline Rd) delivery service. I've been using this service for nearly a year. Towards the end of 2020 I had four consecutive orders that were problematic: received another customer's entire order, was charged for undelivered or wrong items. Each time the customer service representative was professional and very timely in making my orders whole, whether via re-delivery or my card being refunded quickly. All delivery drivers were on time, friendly, and handled my groceries (i.e., eggs, bread, delicate fruit / vegetables, etc) with care. I plan to renew the annual fee for delivery / pick-up. Although I don't prefer the delivery, not having to do the shopping myself is still best right now. I've used the pick-up service the last several visits and my orders have been accurate and I didn't have to wait long in the parking lot. read more

I was able to buy my contact solution...the place was fairly clean and the check out lines were long. I'm not sure if everyone was out shopping at 11:30 pm or they did not have enough cashiers. I returned a pair of boots that didn't fit. Initially, I was issued a refund, which showed up on my bank account immediately. However, the terminal froze at the Customer Service counter. The manager said it would be fine. However, I wasn't convinced, so I asked him to give me some kind of receipt. He and the associate both said they would "remember" the situation. I told them I would be out of town for a couple of weeks, and I wanted to be certain I received the refund. The next day, the refund was on my bank statement, but they deducted it again. So, now I've paid for boots that I don't have. I called, but they said they couldn't do anything about it over the phone. I don't know why they couldn't just scan the receipt again and issue the refund. Everything is digital! read more

I give all Walmart's a (0)with how the greeter section operates. I feel as if all the stores treat customers differently. I understand checking carts if stuff is not bagged and scanning your ticket but what's the use if they are not checking the products in the cart. However, if your not going to do ever customer with products not bagged 24 hours a day, then why do it. What's the use what's the purpose. I understand maybe theft and inventory control but do it 24 hours a day not specific times. Doesn't make sense as a business owner myself. It makes me not want to go anymore. I used to go multiple times a week for my business. But I may go once a month now and that is starting to stop. When I go to this Walmart I love it because it's usually organized and big. They have a great variety of items that other Walmarts don't have. Love the entrance ways (they have 3) parking lot is great! The problem I have is that I went to pay for pics and then I wanted to pay for the 8 or 9 items I had (no veggies) the employee Gage or Gabe that worked back there was very unfriendly and wouldn't let me pay for my items back there (just the pictures) after I told him I normally pay back there he said he's not an express lane and he could only do 6 items if he does pay ring them up. I have never been told this before as many times as I've purchased pics or electronics back there. Was a complete ass hole to me from the time I stood in line waiting for him to come to me until I walked away. Maybe he was having a bad day or something but bad service on his end for sure! They've stepped it up. I love love love the grocery pick up! I will drive all the way here just to use the service. Closer stores to me haven't started the grocery pick up yet, even if, I think I'd still come to this location. I've been using it since it started and I still love and use it! It's free. No shopping hassel. What more could you want? Alcohol and coupons, yes, ok, that would make it even better, but we can't have it all. Maybe in the future, they say coupons will be accepted. Your best day to go is on Monday. The trucks deliver on Sundays, so their always stocked on all things on Monday. Even if their out of stock they will give you an upgraded item for the same price. Score. If you have a problem with an item, you can email them and they will immediately refund that item amount. No questions asked. The inside of the store is huge and it's actually nice and pretty clean. read more

I care full-time for my senior mother and order from 2 Walmart Superstores one a week or more, one store that serves Manhattan and another (in New Albany) that serves Louisville. When in Louisville I depend on the New Albany store because as a Manhattan resident, I don't own a car ... and don't even have a Walmart store in Manhattan. Overall, I love both location stores -- the 2 locations get 5 stars, a great rating from me. Overall Walmart rocks. Having orders shopped is valuable to a caregiver. The reason I took away one star is so many random items at Walmart cannot be shipped but must be picked up -- only, and I cannot figure out why since the items are inside the store -- and if only I could walk or drive to the store where I'd pick them up I could get them. So I hope Walmart figures out how to make nearly all items it sells available to be shipped. For example, Walmart's brand, Good Value -- dishwashing brushes (a utility brush can be shipped yet not the dishwashing brush [why?], empty stray bottles and many food items like Good Value refried beans, and certain cookies. read more

I rarely come to this store it was my third time in 3 years living the area. I don't remember first time experience, second time visit was for getting a mini freezer that they have stock showing online. However they didn't have the one + we waited 15 mins for them to confirm they don't have one, they officered similar product yet couldn't find actual location where they stock the product we waited for 45 mins at the end. I suggest store pick up or shop elsewhere. Father's day, they insisted that my delivery was made but couldn't verify and after a long process it was refunded. Black Friday store delivery wasn't available, was asked if it could be changed to Walmart delivery. Kept sating delayed, now the car said lost and will need to do a refund. No raincheck. Item was about 50% off so now because they lost the delivery I have to wait 48 hrs for specialist to contact me about the refund and pay full private annother retailer. I am done with Walmart delivery. They store and competition has never failed me. Walmart delivery has failed 2 out of 2 times, guess that's 100% though I give a 0%! read more

I was going to give 2 stars but added the extra for good measure. I'll start by saying, personally, I hate shopping at Walmart when it's busy. It seems like it's busy all the time, even at 11 at night, because they never have enough cashiers. This location specifically doesn't and any time I visit, which isn't very often, they don't have self checkout open. Granted, I usually go late at night if I go at all so that could be why. Usually when I shop at a store like this I'm just shopping for me and picking up a few items that don't require a cashier. Maybe they don't have it open often because they're worried about people stealing? Anyways of course Walmart has great values/prices on some of their goods so I'll always trek there occasionally. Walmart. A Department store. A big Corporate Department Store. They have what I'm looking for, when I'm looking for it. I don't come in here with any illusion that I'll get anything 'above par', but more that I'll find what I want at a cheap price. This location does that, in a pleasant enough environment and a lack of rude sales persons. The staff hasn't gone 'over the top' but they also have not dove down to the dregs either. This five stars is ONLY for pick-up services and the automotive department. What a great crew of folks, always friendly and helpful, very nice. I've never had a bad pick-up experience at this location and I'm always happy with the auto department. They're another consistently great group, and when I get my vehicles serviced, I'm always pleased. To shop inside is punishment. From the customer care staff, their pharmacy, to finding an associate for any help, it really is torture. An employee working the customer service department argued with me over a simple return. SIMPLE, as in I filled everything out online to start the process, including filling out my reason for the return, which it was a recalled item, but she still thought it was efficient to argue with me, roll her eyes, and be a total jerk for no reason, even after I explained everything to her, including sharing the recall information. It was dangerous to use. She still argued. Another time, I couldn't get my prescription without going through the line TWICE. It was ridiculous just to get my epilepsy medication, one I had been getting for YEARS at another Walmart. It wasn't a controlled substance. The lady as good as told me she didn't know what she was doing. What????? At the pharmacy??? That's uncalled for. I have gone through checkout 3 times, maybe. I have always got the disgruntled staff at checkout. They grumble and mumble who knows what the whole time while throwing my purchases in the bag like I'm a bother. I'm actually a very nice and even helpful customer. I'm not standing there on my cell phone. I'm attentive, and ready to pay promptly. This place is a joke. I'll stick with pick up. This place isn't worth the one star I had to give it! I tried paying for my transaction with the 5 gift cards I had. Well, I could only use 4 of my cards & I wasn't able to use my 5th gift card, nor was I able to finish paying for my items with my debit card! Luckily there was an ATM inside of Walmart and I was able to withdrawal the cash I needed to pay for my items! The cashier, the head cashier and a shift manager wasn't even aware of a 4 card limit! The customer service at Walmart was very, very poor & its poor due to lack of management & policies. My husband bought and PAID for a ring. They were resizing it for us and said they would call when it was ready. One month, no call. We go in six times asking for help at jewelry counter! No one ever helps us. Even the store manager says they can't give us our ring. My husband complained at customer service and said no one will give us the ring. A very rude lady said "I guess you should come when the jewelry counter employee is working then" at this point they are practically stealing. Now we get a call saying they never even resized the ring. We are trying to get our money back but yet again for the seventh time no one was working the jewelry counter and no one in the whole entire store has the power to refund us apparently. read more

I have used the pick up service several times and never had a problem until my last order. When I picked up my order the sales assistant told me that my order was complete, so I didn't really bother to check it. I took it and dropped it off at home so my daughter could put it away as I had other errands to run. I got home about 8 and went to get one of the items and it wasn't there. If it had been like a $2 items I wouldn't have been that concerned but this was $21 of deli meat. So I immediately got on the phone and tried to call the store. After calling 3 times to get someone on the phone It was finally answered and I explained what I was calling about they said hold on and they would transfer me to pickup. the phone rang and rang and no one answered. I called back starting at 8:30 and it wasn't until 9:45 did I get anyone one to answer the phone at the customer service desk. The person that answered said I would have to talk to the manage and when they got on the phone he was very, what I would call rude, and said I would have to talk to the manager of the pick up. He also seemed unconcerned when I told him I had been calling for over an hour and no one ever answered the phone. So I called the next day and got him, he was very understanding. I asked him if they could just credit my card and he said they can't do that, that I would have to come in and pick up the item. I agreed to do that. So after all that I took a look at my receipt that I had when I picked up the order and the total was one amount and when I checked my credit card statement I was $7.30 higher than my receipt. When I checked into that they said I'd have to come into the store to straighten it out. The pick up is a wonderful service and I will continue to use it but I urge you to watch your credit card amounts that are charged. Also be sure to check "No substitutions" if you don't want them to give you something other than what you wanted. read more

Probably the worst Walmart I've ever been to. The lines are always at least a 15 to 20 minute wait due to low staffing. We also do the grocery store pick up on a regular basis, where a few times we were given fruit with mold, chicken with a worm, and another time they gave us the WRONG grocery order and gave us someone else's. They didn't have much to say about the chicken, just gave me a refund after I had to drive back. I have been going to this Walmart for 3 years. It is above par, the people and customers are very nice and they try their best to be polite and help the customers. The produce section always looks great and they keep the shelves stock well. They also have new products every time I go! The floors are always real clean and there is a great electronics dept. I had a grocery pick up that I ordered through their grocery app. It took a whole hour after I was told my order was ready for me to recieve my groceries. I then had to stand at a register to pay for my groceries because their systems were down but when I went to pay the pick up order number wouldn't work even though it was assigned to my order. They finally got it figured out and I went home to put away my groceries only to realize o didn't get half the stuff I ordered because they said it was unavailable. I then look at my receipt only to find out that they had charged me for things I ordered but they didn't put in my groceries. I tried calling several times only to be transferred to different departments in the store until someone finally says the phones in the department I'm looking for don't work. So I drove up there and went to customer service where I was finally helped. The only good thing I would say about this experience is that Debbie in the customer service department was fast at helping me and very nice. My point on this is the service was horrible and half the stuff I ordered that they said was unavailable was actually available because I seen it on the shelves when I went back to get the stuff they charged me for but didn't give me. To me that just seems like the ones picking the groceries are to lazy to go through and get the stuff that you ordered even though they get paid to do their job. I will never go through Walmart again for grocery order pick ups read more
