I don't know what it is with their self checkouts. I go to different grocery stores about every week. Some have different items I prefer. But I don't know what it is with self checkouts but every time I've went lately it's like I'm going too fast. It keeps yelling at me to make sure I've scanned everything then I'm going too slow is yelling at me to put my stuff in the bag quicker then it's having the guy check that I have nine items then it's having the guy check that I have 11 items when all I'm doing is what I'm supposed to be doing, scanning them and putting them in the bags. I don't have this problem at Meijer Walmart or even priceless. It's only Kroger. read more

Went to get gas at 3.19 a gallon The pumps show lines across each switch to get gas and not what you're paying for. I selected regular unleaded gas 87 octane. I pumped 15 gal and even selected 10 off per gallon. Well the ticket came out and showed I paid 4.16 a gallon. I went to the attendant and she said, your hose must have touched premium! I like Kroger grocery stores, they are the Publix of Kentucky and are generally very good. This is my first time in this store and I was impressed. It has been reported that lots of places aren't fully stocked, and my local store has had difficulty keeping up with demand. This store was fully stocked, clean and bright with lots of good deals - I bought much more than I intended when I walked in the door. I had a little trouble finding things, so I asked rather than just walking around aimlessly, and the woman stocking the shelves was exceptionally friendly and responsive, and correct. This store is out of my neighborhood, but worth the drive and close to other stores and restaurants (post-COVID). Everyone I encountered was wearing a mask and appeared to be following COVID precautions. Lots of parking (and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot). Easy in and easy out. read more

Since moving over a year ago, this has become my go to grocery store. When Covid first started, I did most of my shopping first thing on Saturday mornings. I still try to go early on Saturday when possible. For the most part, this Kroger is well stocked and always has a good selection. I had to quarantine once due to exposure and was able to place an order through their click list. I was able to pick up my order without leaving my car or even cracking my window. I really appreciated this option but wouldn't do it all the time. There is a great floral selection and I've found myself picking up flowers for my house the past few trips. The employees are always friendly and willing to help. This is definitely one of the better Kroger locations that I've shopped at. read more

Went to deli there, and there was 3 guys just standing around, and we wanted some pasta salad from the deli. So went to get the lady ,but she said I'm on break for 30min didn't have no one to take her place while she was on break. So went to talk with the manager, and she was very rude to me. Said we haven't cross trained anyone to do the deli. Didn't even offer to help out there. What kind of manager, and business is this. I will never be back again to this Krogers. This Kroger is staffed by the friendliest most efficient people at any Kroger I have found myself in here in Louisville. However, their aisles are small and the whole store feels claustrophobic. The parking situation is also a catastrophy. I can't figure out how to get in and out of the parking lot. It's a pain. I'd come here more often if it weren't stressful to just get there. read more

This use to be our Store before we moved! In the area and needed a few things. Lady at the deli was amazingly nice. I didn't even catch until later that she charged me 19.99 a pound for some bologna Store was clean and organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. They of course only had 2 lanes open and the self checkout. It's always a comedy show when we check our. But at least it's bagged correctly!! read more

Kroger has a shopping card that earns points so you can get money off on gas for every so many points. This is a nice feature and beneficial if you only use the Kroger store gas. The Kroger app can link to your card so you can easily load digital coupons to your card which is really nice. No more carrying around paper coupons that can be lost. I usually purchase my produce here, but of late I have not been thrilled with the quality of the produce. A lot of times they are out or the items are already going bad. I love the deli meat department. I buy all my deli meat here. The Kroger Private Selection brand is the most flavorful to me. I feel this store is a bit pricey but they have decent sales at times. Especially the buy 10 for $10. read more

I had to make a quick stop at this location to purchase some meat. Salmon is always at 7.99 per lb with the Kroger card. I usually get the Easy Bag, but ever since they changed the bags, I just buy the meat that is already plastic wrapped. The service meat department was already closed when I got there anyways. I also noticed they had some good produce sales. Check out was a little lengthy, but I was able to jump in the quick self lane. read more

Excellent service. The store was very busy surprisingly, for a Friday night. Two children by your side the grocery store can be a bit overwhelming. It was easy to get in and out, store was excellently stocked and customer service was abound. Usually for grocery stores I don't write a review. However, Octavia the gentleman working the express lane personally ask my family and I to come through his line even though we had a large cart full of groceries. The cashier beside him rudely looked at us and shook her head. His customer service was outstanding and we really did appreciate it. His outstanding customer service allowed us to quickly get out of the grocery with two small children. He definitely deserves cashier of the month! Thanks so much for the excellent grocery shopping experience. Our choice for grocery shopping from now on for sure. While you are there, check out the awesome deli as well as the gentlemen in the meat department, they were very hard at work. read more

This Kroger offers the best Checklist grocery service. Every week for the past couple months I have ordered my groceries online. I have had to pop into the store a few times for items I have missed. The store is well organized and usually stocked. The checklist team is amazing. The exercise very good phone etiquette and they are very quick. They are also extremely patient, they make sure to go through your list and make you aware of any substitutions they have made. They also accept paper coupons which are a plus. The service will cost you $5, but it is well worth it!! Great job Kroger! read more

I like Kroger but the only problem I have is there meat is over priced. Other wise I shop here all the time be house I love the fuel points everything else I well priced. I shopped at Kroger this morning( Mudd Lane) recently started shopping there and was very pleased with everything!!! This morning when I got to the check-out, the gentleman that was checking me out was very nice and he asked for some help and was told someone was outside!! There were three ladies standing two isles down, TALKING. They never offered any help!!! The gentleman checking us out asked help with a number on a food item and you could tell the lady was MAD that she had to come over and help!!! I bagged all of my groceries, and I don't mind doing that!!! But when the employees are standing around talking and not doing their job, it gives Kroger a bad name!! Stopped by this Kroger with my parents and started shopping in the produce dept. We noticed that their was a bunch of cilantro lying on the dirty floor with people and carts walking right over it. This fresh produce is not kept in a bag or plastic to avoid rotting, so it was kinda dirty. There were two employees working in that section, one man and one woman. Suddenly the older male employee goes over and picks it off the dirty floor and puts it on top of all the other bunches.... Ewww. as we were all standing right there, I commented " You didn't just put that back on top of all the others did you", he looked at me and said it will be fine... After thinking about it I mentioned it to a supervisor up front who then called a manager. After listening for about 10 sec. she said thanks I say something to them.. No active listening... no I'm sorry . no anything.. So if you get sick after eating at these krogers, you might want to think about this. If they are trying to save a little money on cilantro, what else are they doing when no one is looking, because no one seemed to care. read more
