I really enjoy using Mathes Pharmacy and am grateful for their friendly and on-time service…read more The great services they provide are: *they will call you at an appointed time each month to automatically refill your medications. *they will deliver partial medication refills when the doctor office doesn't respond quick enough for any remaining medications. *they will deliver by the following day, if not the same day. *they have a store of health related products across the street, while selling such items in their pharmacy store. *I'd say the turn-over rate is relatively low. I've been using Mathes for two years and many of the same employees are still there. A huge plus! *signing for delivered medications is easy and quick. *they're quick to correct any errors, without any inconvenience to the customer. *a couple of times they ran out of a particular medication, which they restocked and delivered within a couple of days. *I think their prices are very competitive, if not better, than their competitors. A couple of times I called to compare prices and Mathes was definitely lower. They also price matched in order to keep my business. I loved that! I HIGHLY recommend Mathes. They're building a new store front. The new store is located in the same location - further back in the large parking lot. It's really nice to see local businesses pour money back into their business through expansion that'll not only help themselves, but benefit the customers as well.

They switched our insurance plan, and Mathes was not listed as one of the pharmacies that we could use. We have a large family and couldn't justify paying the extra expenses to use them. So we were forced to use CVS, since that is the company that purchased my vehicle idea company. She was now an employee of the nations largest pharmacy chain. What we found was that this company was out of medications more than once. One time we had to wait a week and a half for a common medication to be refilled because they were out! 10 days without a medication, when there are numerous other pharmacies in the area owned by the same company. So fortunately CVS sold the company after a year, and we are able to go back to Mathes. As soon as my medications run out, I'll be there. Why go to Mathes? Because it's NOT a big box store pharmacy. You may not be wowed this it's customer service, but they are always friendly and very helpful. They will definitely take care of you. Plus they are local, which is a bonus to me. If you need a prescription delivered, they even have a free delivery service. I highly recommend going here. Skip the big guys. You won't be sorry.

As they appear to be the only all night pharmacy in the area, the wait can be a little lengthy sometimes but there are plenty of aisles of randomness to keep you occupied while you wait for your prescriptions to be filled.

The pharmacy was great both over the phone and in person to pick up prescriptions. The transfer was great and filled within a few days. These days to talk to a human resource is incredibly hard. They actually answer the phone here. They take real calls. It's incredible! The store is sometimes well stocked. The over turning of individuals that work here is a constant reminder and struggle. They have some real good individuals working here now. The area has a lot of crime . This local is 5 blocks from the water front of the Ohio River in downtown Jeffersonville. Downtown area's not so good here. In the area they have rehab for people with drug addiction. It spills over in this area. All in all the basics can be found here. The pharmacy is a great resource. Even with the area issues it does not reflect the store and atmosphere when you visit. The other issues are outside. We can only change the world one miracle at a time. For the moment the small things can make our immediate lives easier.

But this Walgreens will do everything they can to help you! Even though over the years there's been new employees they are obviously trained very well and so caring. Walgreens should pay more to keep these pharmacy techs who often leave because a higher paying job elsewhere. Get all your prescriptions and lab work done together in one spot! Perfect! This is a large Walgreens, but it seems older. But here in Southern Indiana everything is at least a hundred years old. Plus weather worn. The staff here were highly trained and skilled about the pharmacy process. The lab corp is a separate process . This particular process that involves the lab was conducted in the best way possible. The store sells all your basic equipment and supplies for cold and flu. They have a small selection of various products depending on your needs. You could for example, skip the store and just buy here in a pinch. Have all your needs met in one place. Lab work, pharmacy, cat food, donuts, and cereal. Just add milk for making it an even better experience.

My only reason for less than 5-star rating is that the property looks run down and poorly maintained and the drive up window is especially gross with so many spider webs and dead bugs. I want so badly to bring my leaf blower next time and blow all of the dust and detritus off of that window and the pop out drawer that delivers my prescription to me. (I'll take a photo next visit.)

I use the Walgreens on 10th & Spring only because it's next to my Doctor and can usually just walk out of my doctors appointment over to Walgreens and then I have everything I need and go home. But the Clarksville Walgreens Pharmacy staff are just as friendly. I've seen people get very upset with them, but what needs to be understood is the pharmacist cannot make pills just appear. That being said, I feel like I can be pretty objective about what's good and bad about this place. I don't think this is breaking news, but Walgreens is a place that charges you more than others because of the convenience it provides. That's just the way it goes. This particular Walgreens has a pharmacy that seems to always somehow have customers with difficult orders. I am rarely pleased with the speed of service at the pharmacy. I highly recommend going at off times if you want to avoid long waits. On the good side, there are a lot of friendly employees, including one who seems to be there during every single open hour. And there is also a good chance you will see my friend Todd there, because he is always there too. And here's my dirty secret: This place is so close to my house that I'll still go no matter what.
