    STILL NO DELIVERY
    Veronica M.

How is it that I get 5 text messages that claims the product in on the truck(since sat!) and still no delivery? When I called customer service, they had zero helpful answers other than it will be there today. She Guaranteed it! Because her info states It's on the truck. Hahah! It's been on the truck since Saturday dummy. Don't order delivery from them ever. Walmart blamed FedEx, FedEx blames Walmart. Either way. I'm cancelling this order.

What can I say? It's Walmart. Not the worst I've been in and they actually improved a little over the years. And unlike Target doesn't feel hugely claustrophobic. Still mostly junk and stuff I don't need. The layout is a bit odd and there's weird routing due to covid. Did pick up a few a few DeLorean toys though.

    Sink in the ladies room

I am a fan of Walmart and the low prices like most of America ok.. This particular location is one of my favorites because its convenient and not as crowded as some locations. Let's talk about Walmart's ladies room facilities. Walmart Super Centers are probably one of the most public stores around. As a frequent customer, I would like to wash my hands at a normal sink with actual running water - not a fountain with trickling water? (see picture I uploaded). Every Walmart in the area I have visited - has the same sink in their ladies room. Its frustrating when you really just want to wash your hands and can't because instead of a sink in the ladies room - theres a fountain with trickling water... don't forget to make a wish!

This store is absolutely terrible. They treat their employees badly and the parking lot is impossible to escape during peak hours.

The staff was OK, but the parking was horriable and the aisles are way to cramped for easy passage and browsing

They have a good beer and wine selection and the staff checking us out at the counter were very nice. The woman after scanning my ID actually flipped it over and thanked me by my first name and same with my wife. (It's the little things). We bought some baked goods and honestly I'd would have just gotten food and hung out but my wife is here on a business trip so we just had to get some snacks. The store is huge. They have a wide variety of drinks and snacks. The flow was good as the aisles are decently sized and although we were only there for about 30 minutes the customer base was cool, even when the power went out for 10 seconds. If we actually lived here this would be our store. It's not overly expensive and it literally has everything.

In Boise, Albertsons and Fred Meyer are the most expensive not counting Whole Foods. Giant Eagle had Whole Food prices for regular groceries. The produce in particular was shocking. I had never seen two Bell Peppers for $5.00 before. I was able to find a couple of things to complement what I had ordered to be delivered to where I was staying in Pittsburgh. In the end, if I lived in Pittsburgh, Giant Eagle would not be my first choice for groceries on price alone.

This Giant Eagle was my family's go-to shopping spot for years. Of course, that was before Giant…read moreEagle introduced their Market Districts, let alone before a Target, Whole Foods, and other grocery options opened up in the South Hills. I wanted to add this introduction as a disclaimer since it's entirely possible that I just don't notice a lot of the problems other people have, because I literally grew up walking through this Giant Eagle on an almost weekly basis. That said: normally, I wouldn't really have any issues with this Giant Eagle. When you walk in you basically just walk in a big circle from the entrance to the exit, which isn't that unusual to me - that's what I do at Market Districts and Targets, too. (Probably because I learned to do that here, now that I think about it!) Some of the sections criss-cross a bit, which I can see being a pain; but in my case, the things I want are always easy to grab, so I can't complain. Granted, this store IS small, and that's the biggest thing going against it. Shopping here at a popular time is a bit of a claustrophobic nightmare, plus it doesn't have the same extensive stock as its larger counterparts. But that can be worked around; that makes it a nice go-to for a weekday grocery run, maybe an option for when you realize you forgot one thing at the bigger store. In 2020, the small size of the store is admittedly a bigger issue because being close to other people is a big no-no right now. I can't remember offhand if the store still has directional signs on the floor (Walk This Way, Do Not Enter, that sort of thing), but when these were in use, they definitely made walking through the crisscrossing sections of shelves harder. I'm not saying traffic control shouldn't be used when we're working around a pandemic, just acknowledging that yeah, dealing with that is a pain. What can you do. With that in mind, most of my challenges with this store are purely due to 2020 being 2020; outside of this specific year, I would rate this store at 4 stars, so that's what I'm doing. I've been shopping here all year long as needed, and will continue to do so. P.S. Just want to note that I have no idea what the comments about limited parking are about. There's always plenty of parking when I shop here - unless you're trying to park right in front of the store doors, of course. Those spots are always filled and I don't even check them!

Disclaimer, I'm not a regular shopper at Fresh Thyme Market - not because the store is bad per se,…read morebut because it's pricey. Fresh Thyme is an organic food supermarket chain, so I'll stop in occasionally to see what's new and/or to treat myself to some "fancy" groceries. Because of the cost of their items though, I'll shop here for supplemental goodies after getting my main haul elsewhere. (For me, Aldi and Trader Joe's are stops #1 and #2. Places like this, Giant Eagle, and The Fresh Market are where I go "just because" or when I want to splurge on groceries.) When I do stop in I always explore the baked goods and frozen foods - usually there are items and brands in these sections that aren't at other stores. (A lot of items are gluten free, too, which I know makes a difference to a lot of people.) I generally skip the produce and deli sections; the selections in both are decent but I can find these things elsewhere for less. And here's something I've never had to say about a grocery store before: I ALWAYS walk right past their supplements section, which is (in my opinion) unnecessarily large. I could talk at length about my problems with how supplements are (not) managed in America, so before I bog down my own review we'll move right along! Final thoughts: their selection is fine, and in theory it's great that they sell a variety of "healthy" things. In practice though, the food products are overpriced, and there are enough vitamins and supplements on sale that I almost question whether or not this should be classified as a grocery store. While I'll pop in and out of here occasionally, I'll never be a regular shopper.
